I live in Independent Living, and you must check out the garden home cottages! The inside of the building is clean and up to date. The staff is very friendly. Everyone including the residents are so welcoming.

I have lived here for three years. There’s no other place I’d rather be. This community is updated, clean, and the staff are friendly. You maintain your independence here. You can be as active as you want, or choose not to participate in activities.

For the value for cost it is expensive, but they do everything well, they keep the properties looking great and the snow and ice removal was wonderful. I love it here. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would of course recommend them to other families and do it all the time!

I’ve become very comfortable in the community due to the kind residents and staff here at 5star. I enjoy the activities and music we have. I would recommend 5Star Senior Living to friends and family.

I'm a resident of Smith Farms Manor in Auburn Indiana. It is very pleasant and the food is good. The activities are good too. I'm rating my community all 5's, because it is the best. We are like a family.

My 85 year old father is legally blind and has now been diagnosed with dementia. He has been living at Five Star for about seven years now. He started out in the independent homes at first. They were so lovely and spacious. Great location and community too. He now lives in the main assisted living building and has some help from the great staff. I’ve gotten to know everyone and there are so many kind and helpful staff members. My dad loves the food in the dining room. And I really enjoy talking with the front office and nursing staff. They offer many activities with our favorites being the therapy dogs and the musical guests. The location and accommodations cannot be beat in my opinion. And what a bonus that the staff are so helpful and nice to both of us!

I want to say how great the staff from Jefferson Manor here in Kokomo is. After the passing of my mom in 16 and then a brother in 2022 dad had gone downhill. With dementia he was lost, but the staff from the Managers to RA’s to Cooks and kitchen staff to housekeeping took great care of him. They made sure he ate and was covered with blankets, as he was always cold, and guided him where to go. As things progressed, they would keep me informed of a situations, or if I needed to come there. Towards the end they would keep me informed of different options that I had for dad’s care. He was loved by Staff and fellow residents. Every time I walk in the place everyone ask how I am doing and that they miss my dad. So, if I had to give a grade to Jefferson Manor it would be a A++. The staff there tries hard to make everyone feel welcome and at home. They have done a lot of trips and different activities to help keep the community involved. I am glad to say that they are now part of my family.

I’ve been here 7 months so far and I’m enjoying it. The meals have been amazing and the chef is open to new ideas. The staff is great. It’s feels like home and I’ve made so many new friends. I love the activities and bus outings as well. The best part is that my cat can be here with me.

Questions answered-concerns addressed. Would recomend to others or live her if circumstances warrented. I feel my mother is safe here & hope she is as satisfied as she says she is. Activities are fun and there are even learning seminars that are interesting.

Mom was having frequent falls and her safety was a concern. After moving her to Oak Woods Manor we can rest assured that she is safe and looked after. Mom has thrived significantly and enjoys her friends, friendly staff, and amazing meals. Mom has even participated in several new activities that she would not have experienced from home. This has been a positive life changing experience all the way around.

We chose Five Star of Fort Wayne because of the smaller, cozy feeling and the fact that the many residents were out of their rooms. Some of the staff who answer the phone are very friendly and helpful. There is one who isn't as warm and friendly. Same with the head of the place.

So far, the staff that I've spoken with have been very friendly and helpful! My aunt really enjoys the variety of activities, and speaks well of most of the staff she encounters. Their layers of safety are really encouraging and have been helpful for us and my aunt. I will say, there is slightly less of a safety net if you aren't utilizing any services from a care provider. My aunt needed assistance once getting back to her room, but since care is outsourced to separate providers, they won't send someone if you aren't affiliated with either of them. So I would recommend just choosing one at the outset, even if you don't yet need any services, just in case. The housekeeping staff has been great so far, as have the maintenance crew. My aunt really enjoys the exercise class offered and we are so thankful she can exercise in a safe and fun environment! I would definitely recommend it!

I love playing cards, bingo,wii bowling,entertainment. I can come and go as I please. Everyone is so nice and helpful. It's a beautiful place to live. I love the carpet and it matches everything in my room. I love the setup of my apartment.

Brenden Gardens is a good place to be. I've lived here for 1 1/2 years and it's exactly what I expected. Maintenance is good, they are quick to do what needs to be done. The housekeeping staff is excellent, and the cooks always try to satisfy.

I've felt like this is our home. Everyone makes us so happy and at ease. We are so pleased with everyone. We love the activities here. The staff like to joke and has an open door policy. We love that.

Everyone here is friendly and very helpful. They really care about us. I'm very satisfied here and know you would be too. I enjoy the entertainment and music. My family comes quite a bit. I couldn't ask for a better place to live.

I enjoy playing bingo and working jigsaw puzzles. I enjoy exerciseand musical entertainment. The people here are friendly. I enjoy sitting outside. My family comes and visits quite often. I do my own personal laundry.

The people here are wonderful. I enjoy working puzzles, and going to church. I enjoy socializing with people and being around others. We have beautiful scenery. The flowers are beautiful. We have geese and they arefun to watch.
