My mother had to move out of her home after a fall and time in the hospital. 5-Star Residences of Northwoods has been very helpful in getting her settled into her “new home” - even when she was unhappy that she could not go back to her own home. The staff is exceptional from top to bottom.

Overall, my sister enjoy living there. She made new friends, the staff were wonderful. She didn't always like what they had to eat and sometimes they were short of help in the kitchen and dining area. My sister had to leave only because she learned she had colon and kidney cancer. We had to move her to an assisted living place with Hospice. It is a lovely place. I would suggest people check it out.

I would give 5 Star a 5 rating for all categories except quality of care. I would rate that a 3 only because there was always confusion of scheduling assistance for bathing. It seemed that every week, we had to ask for a bath for the patient. We were always told she was on the schedule but wouldn't get a shower. Everyone was friendly, but there but there was schedule confusion. The Executive Director was so fabulous to work with in our particular situation. Our final decision was to place our loved one at [community removed], but they didn't have any availability at the time. The Director had an idea - we could stay at the facility until there was an opening. We couldn't stay permanently at 5 Star because our loved one would need Medicaid assistance in the future. I appreciated the assistance from the Director, it gave us such peace of mind.

I should have mentioned their activities department provides a monthly calendar of activities- my friend consults it and highlights the things she's interested in and checks it daily. My friend moved in a year again and it has met and exceeded our expectations! I know other folks who have lived there for years, starting in independent living and moving to assisted living when needed. I've observed assisted living to be a cheery and friendly place with staff being super compassionate. The dining room staff knows everyone's preferences. I would pick them for myself or other family members and friends.

recently had the pleasure of visiting Brenden Gardens, an independent retirement community, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment I arrived, [name removed] in the marketing department was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt at ease as I toured the facilities. Her kindness and patience truly stood out, and I could tell she genuinely cared about the residents and their well-being. The kitchen staff were equally impressive. They were friendly, engaging, and eager to accommodate special dietary needs. The meals I sampled were not only delicious but thoughtfully prepared with care. Additionally, the maintenance team was always approachable and happy to lend a hand whenever needed. Whether it was a quick fix or answering a question about the community’s amenities, they were always willing and excited to help. Overall, the atmosphere at Brenden Gardens is warm, welcoming, and a great place for mom!

There are a variety of options available to meet whatever needs you have, be lots of care to just a few added safety measures. Additionally, there are so many activities available, which I appreciate immensely.

Nursing staff, physical therapy staff, maintenance and dining staff are compassionate, friendly, patient and seem to sincerely enjoy their jobs. They are very interested in my parents and how they are doing. The facility is spotless! Everyone I have met is friendly. It hasn’t been an easy transition but mom & dad are finally getting comfortable. The meals are top notch and I have enjoyed several. The administrative staff is helpful with any questions we have had

I'm more than satisfied with living here The staff and management are.extremley friendly and helpful and have everything well organized and looking for ways to always improve things for everyone and especially the residents. Food service is also outstanding with a highly variable number of options for every mealtime. I couldn't believe all the options available for breakfast each and everyday that you can customize to your individual taste and that is also true for all other meals. Every resident I've met is very friendly and pleasant and friendly. In short everything about the entire facility is far more than I expected. Lots of.scheduled events and trips to nearby shopping as well as scheduled times for medical appointments. I'm.more than very satisfied with my decision to relocate here. Plus the location is fantastic for family and friends to visit.

Even though she is in independent living, they have been helpful in looking out for her. I do think they could add more activities during the week and on weekends as well.

In regard to the facility, I feel like Tiffany Springs Senior Living has created a spa/resort style atmosphere. It's very comforting for the residents. The staff are very kind and helpful and any issues that I've had were quickly resolved. The most helpful, comforting aspect of this facility is that I have the peace of mind knowing that as my Mother-in-law ages they offer every level of care she could ever need.

They took very good care of my husband. They had medical staff who cared. They have assisted living, rehab, skilled nursing & long term care. Their food was very good & they had activities to do. I would recommend Norterre for your loved ones.

The staff is kind and friendly. They got to know my mom and sit and just talk with her. They built a relationship with her. This is a must for someone in memory care. The food is amazing. The chef knows my mom's name and what she likes. The front desk ladies, chef, and care givers all know my mom and make her feel welcomed. I can't say enough about Lumiere and how it has been a blessing for my mom and family.

I love this place! if you can afford it, it's the best senior living community and all of Indy! Staff are sincerely interested in our welfare;always upbeat;willing to go the extra mile for us.It's like having your mom and grandma at your beck & call! Coming from 2000 sq. ft. to 860 has been a challenge but room size& storage closets are great. As far as amenities, enough activities to make your head spin. Transportation is easy to arrange & reliable. Staff had us on "lockdown " due to novovirus & managed very competently:always a good test of good management!

I was an employee and they were so good to me. I just wanted to go back to dayshift I needed to take care of my family. I enjoyed the residents and the people I worked with.

[name removed] has been great. It took us over a year to get Dad there and she was patient and incredibly helpful in the overall process. We got access faster than we expected. The rest of her staff have been kind and understanding. They have on-site physical therapy and visiting nurses. These are all extras that one may not need initially but it is nice to know it is there as things progress with my Dad's dementia diagnosis.

I picked them because of word of mouth; grounds; location near IU. I would recommend to others.

The staff is very friendly to the residents and guests. In the dining hall the staff that I had just been introduced to even called me by name for a meal and were very friendly and attentive to me. They know all the residents names and what their favorites foods are. The residents are happy, friendly, and entertaining.

This was my first stop on a 5 locations search. I found myself comparing each place to 5 Star. It just made sense to select the place that checked all my boxes. Each person's needs are different, so I can't say this will be the place for each of you. Just look at many choices and decide for yourself.

After a fall, we were looking for a place in Springfield for my mom to recover. My mom wasn’t ready to commit to a lease as she was hopeful she could return to her home. Brenden Gardens offered an option for respite care, and in touring found an apartment that we felt suited her well. {name removed] and her staff are amazing to work with, and helped my mom fit right in. 3 meals a day with a nice atmosphere and good food, options for meal delivery, amenities such as laundry facilities on each floor, a library, craft room, and even transportation for outings. Therapy services offered on site have really made a difference. She has decided to sign a lease and make this her home. I’m so happy to have my mom at this community!
