My mother has a couple strokes that affected her memory and speech. She was being cared at her home and was doing ok, but it came to the point where she was “tired” of life. She didn’t have her joyful personality anymore and it was having a big impact on her health. Hudson Grande had been nothing less than terrific!! Mom is engaged in fun activities, well fed with restaurant-quality meals, it is clean and beautiful; and the caregivers are truly the most caring folks I have met in a long time. I was worried about her adjusting and being comfortable. She is absolutely HAPPY to be there! She told us she really likes it there and you can see she has found her joy again. I can’t have words enough to say how they have positively impacted my mom and our family.

I definitely would recommend. Absolutely gorgeous with all around amenities!!!

They were they only facility of the 8 or so that I interviewed they were able to accommodate his dietary needs and offer a step up to option to facilitate his care from admission until his passing. He had a very disagreeable personality in his later years, especially during his decline, and they were always caring and compassionate, and only ever had nice things to say

I would recommend Arkanshire. They have been easy to work with and accepting of [name removed]They did not discriminate against [name removed}age and medical history.

Everything is 5 except dining and activities. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far. Very friendly and Mom is happy

The actual facility is in a completely different league than any of the others we looked at. Just beautiful FYI we looked into 8 places. All the staff at Vitalia from management to care givers to nurses to wait staff to activity coordinator were/are all helpful kind and cheerful. Not that other assisted living homes we looked at were bad at all, just not in the same class

We are very pleased with our cousin's experience at the Boulevard. The staff is competent and friendly. They all greet [name removed] by name and make sure to remind her when family or friends are coming to drive her somewhere off site.

The township really gets memory care. They met my mom where she was every day in the disease with love and hope. They helped her with her growing needs each day with kindness and allowed her to live with dignity and respect. They loved her. The communication with family was impeccable and I would highly recommend the township to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one.

I would have rated the friendliness and of the staff higher if I could. I really like this place and I think it's a good place to be.

Vitalia is close to my home, it has a therapy pool, the social gatherings were excellent and the good was good

My mom loves to the size of her one bedroom apt. The staff work hard to get to know my mom and always use her name when greeting. The food is delicious and I have eaten with my mom several times. There are plenty of activities and dates and times are listed on a monthly calendar one of which is for the entire month while a condensed version is provided for the week. My mom likes that she can view one week at a time. I like how the facility provides things to do that are not necessarily on the calendar like puzzles and games. My mom says that she feels very safe and secure when going to bed at night as she knows people are around when she needs them. She felt anxious being alone in her home after my dad passed. She enjoys the comfort Vitalia brings.

The only other thing I would say, which I am sure is the case for other facilities as well is they are short staffed. She is hearing impaired and was never able to get assistance setting up her closed caption TV, even after buying 2 new TVs and trying everything we could think of ourselves. So we have her set up on my sister's YouTube TV account.

I chose The Rushwood Senior Living over other places I looked at because it is a new facility, the food was good, and staff were very friendly. The apartment sizes were also better than others available in the area.

Staff was very attentive at all times both shifts. My Mother enjoyed the meals. They had no diet so my Mother got to eat what she wanted and they covered her insulin so she was never Hi blood sugar. They allowed her to go out side with us and even go out with us to lunch until she got combative. Staff was always checking on her even if family was there. They took her to potty every two hours and showered her three times a week and more if needed. I know she loved being there. She didn't cry anymore and was ok when we left.

Food is cooked by chefs and is excellent, activities including road trips are plenty , daily, and interesting. Cleanliness, maintenance and housekeeping are excellent! Surroundings are beautiful, comfortable & homey. Staff is friendly and responsive. It's like living in the Grand Hotel! Come and visit us any time for a tour! Value for cost is a little pricey but probably fair and equitable.

Faculty/staff are excellent. Everyone learns residents names and tries to get to know them. They really care. I think they are working on the food. Mallard has been bought by Arrow. A new food program is in the works. However, prices have gone up, but I haven't seen food quality increase. For example, hamburgers are still a cheap flat hamburger patty. Veggie servings are sparce. Grilled cheese is a regular item, but who wants to eat that daily? Desserts, however, are awesome. We were told there would be a catch of the day, but haven't seen that come around yet. We're still hoping for better things.

Friendly, courteous, thoughtful, very caring, ready to help in any situation, and meals tasty and fitting of all diets. We picked this community because of the staff, location, and reviews from people.

I have been very pleased with this facility. My mother has been there for almost 3 months. There have been some hiccups, but everything has worked out. It is brand new and clean. My favorite thing is the staff. They are patient and engaged with the residents, not on their cell phones. Most importantly, my Mother is happy. Would highly recommend!

We looked at several facilities during our search for Mom. The Boulevard St. Charles was exactly what we were looking for! [name removed] was AMAZING to work with. The facility is beautiful, clean, and well kept. Mom has been there since [date removed] and felt comfortable right away. We ran into a couple of small problems when first moving in but they were addressed immediately. It wasn’t anything too serious though. Mom’s mailbox was on the top row and she couldn’t really reach it well. So they moved it down for her. The other was her ice maker wasn’t working, again fixed immediately. Transportation to her doctor appointments have been such a blessing to our family. Mom rides a scooter so it’s much easier for her to use the lift on the bus. She has gone out on some excursions and those have gone well. She enjoys happy hour on Fridays. We definitely made the right choice of The Boulevard St. Charles for Mom. Oh and her apartment is beautiful and she was able to bring her dog with her!

The staff are very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make [name removed].feel at home. The amenities are great. The facility is newer and very modern; kept clean. They have great activities and socials. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking to move to assisted living.
