This facility is: Unsafe Understaffed Poorly managed Has 11 current state citations Incapable a caring for those with real medical issues Do not be fooled by the chandeliers and the smiles at the door. The building is not a good fit for anyone that cannot care for themselves or has memory impairment.

Staff is great but the upper management is terrible and the billing system backwards. I know more people trying to find new facilities due to the poor upper management. They bill you but can't tell you what they are billing you far. Nothing is itemized and they can't give you an itemized bill after I asked for one several times. After my dad passed away they sent me a bill for thousands in extra fees. . We paid in full at the beginning of every month. Would not recommend them.

Not a lot of follow-through from staff… Lack of communication and understanding from staff Food was not warm multiple times… My father had fallen and no family member was contacted… Simple request were not addressed… No phone calls were returned so I could have my issues resolved. Would not put a family member there again Tried to see one of the facilities… After three weeks of not getting the paperwork to do so I had to take my loved one out of [facility removed] for 45 minute drive so he could see his doctor.. That was totally unnecessary for my dad to have to travel when they had a doctor right at the facility

I looked at RC as an option for my loved one after VA’s recommendation. Knowing there were other vets there, we set up a tour. Looked at a couple units, saw one he liked, paid the deposit to hold the room. We were told that if he signs a lease by [date removed], the "deposit" would go to the community budget (not off his rent for the first month or on hold like a normal deposit). If he DIDN'T sign a lease by [date removed], it would be refunded. Notified RC that we were going with a different property and requested the money be refunded on [date removed]. I received a response from [name removed] saying they will get it processed. It is now [date removed], I've emailed [name removed] 3 times (including the original request) asking it to be refunded and a status as to why it hasn't been done. No response. She emails me asking if the move went smooth for my loved one but will not give me an update on the refund. Emailed [name removed], the facility ED, STILL NO ANSWER. Make it right Rock Creek!

My husband got out of memory care twice and was out on the parking lot. I immediately took him out. Another gentlemen got out twice also. Administrator is horrible!!! I would not recommend this place to anybody!!

My family member was in the memory care unit. She was wearing the same clothes for the whole week. We paid them almost [amount removed] a month and she was not being bathed or watched after. We started going to bathe her in Wednesdays and Saturdays. She fell 4 times in one week and was sent to the hospital twice. The last time she was admitted and from there went to another rehab facility that took good care of her. When I talked to the nurse who cared for her the night of her last fall I found out that he was the only person on shift that night. He came on shift, found out he had no help and immediately handed over the keys that the nurse uses for medication administration and told them he would only play an aid role so that he didn't put his license at risk. I have hesitated giving a review online because I am not that kind of person but I'm comfortable telling you so that no other family members will be steered that way and have to go through what we went through.

The care that we received here was ok at first, and as the months wore on it became worsened. We paid additional fees for additional support and assistance that were not provided, or were provided very half heartedly. Through many specific, documented interactions, and promises made and broken, we lost faith with CedarStone and found different care. Outside of care, there were times over the winter where there was not sufficient heat to support the residents. Supplemental heat was provided, but this was a concern for us going into the upcoming cold season, as a rather new facility would hopefully not have these ongoing issues.

I would think twice before sending anyone there . They have many issues that need to be addressed !!!

This facility I can say unfortunately that honestly has no qualities. I regret ever placing my father there. To be frank, I would not place my dog at this facility. Sorry, but it is the truth. They sell you one thing but that is not AT ALL what you get. If they were sitting in front of me right now, I would say the same thing.

I believe the top level staff has changed. That would be the only reason I'd think it may now be a viable place for anyone to reside.

Dad was not a good fit for Fremont. We had to leave. We had no choice but to move him to another facility. He became angry and confused and was not happy with anything at Fremont. I on the other hand loved [name removed] was very nice and helpful during this difficult process. He returned calls and gathered information until everything was finalized.

I no longer live there made a joke to a worker and got evicted. I wasn't being rude or anything. That place is a joke. There is room for improvements and a much need the manager for one was very rude

If you are scrolling reviews and considering The Wellington Assisted Living Facility in Liberty, Missouri- I implore you to please reconsider this facility for your loved one. Our family regretfully chose The Wellington in [date removed] for my grandmother and we will unfortunately live with that regret for the rest of our lives. When you tour with them, the facility is beautiful and the management will give you beautiful smiles and tell you all the right things. Please do not be fooled. Believe the negative reviews! My grandmother was given poor overnight care- often having to wait 60-90 minutes after using her call button. They were terrible at communication with our hospice team (and our hospice team was often left speechless). Medication errors were abundant and management was notified regularly but failed to change. We were able to finally move her out and I can promise you there are much better facilities in town who care about your loved ones!

I will never forgive myself for moving my grandma into The Wellington during her final days on earth. There were countless medication errors and omissions made by the staff. It was a regular occurrence that my grandma would ask what medications she was being given and the med tech would say "I don't know". My grandma was always made to feel like she was being punished for asking questions (and it turns out, she was. Every time she asked a question, her bill went up). When my grandma was prescribed new medications, those changes weren’t made by the staff for days and sometimes they wouldn’t make the change at all until we followed up with them multiple times. At night, the response times ranged from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. My grandma felt trapped, abandoned, and ignored as she was wheelchair bound and relied on the assistance of the aides. The majority of the people working at night are from a temp agency. They were not kind and were not well-trained. Believe the negative reviews!

The facility has several women who kept the place clean, but the smell of urine in the carpeting in the corridors never goes away. At first EVERY staff member was saying hello. Then the exec director avoided any overtures for conversation. [name removed] was left to arrange his own transportation to dr appointments when this was a promised service. [name removed] was abandoned outside the dr office after 5 pm on a Friday and it was only thanks to a police patrol who brought him back to UL. No one at UL recognized that he wasn't back in time for dinner. He had lots of clothes, but when taken to hospital the last time, he was wearing hand-me-down sweatshirt and track shorts . Why? Where were HIS clothes? We had high hopes for the food because at initial interview we were introduced to the two chefs . [name removed] was not impressed. [name removed] was the bright light there . Not only did she provide activities, she helped get attention to [name removed] when he needed it. [name removed] is terrific. I would never recommend UL to anyone. Promised the care but unable to deliver .

Very disappointed in the care at the facility. The response when my mother pushed her emergency button was a half hour. When she was to return to her apt. After a short stay in the hospital Vitalia said she was not allowed back. We had to scramble that day to find another facility. This was a violation of her rights as a resident of Vitalia. They were very uncaring and would never recommend Vitalia in Seven Hills, Ohio.

I am not at all happy with Vitalia. The service and care is not good the dining room is a disaster. I can never get the director to respond to my emails. I am paying for services I am not receiving and my poor aunt is wet and covered in BM many times bc they do not change her like they should. I would NEVER recommend Vitalia to anyone. I would rate them 1 on a level of 1-10

Overall experience - negative. Minimal staff. Our family member fell 4 times in 4 days. The last fall she evidently spent hours in the floor proven by no edema in lower extremities. Prior to her fall she was swollen from knees down and unable to wear even house shoes. The nurse on duty that night told me he was the only one to show up to work the unit and had no idea how long she was in the floor. I arrived to ER 30 minutes after her arrival and she had zero swelling. I did see her the even before this fall and she was swollen. Cleanliness - kitchenette sink was never cleaned. Friendliness - what staff that was there was approachable. Quality of care - See above. She wore the same clothes for a week. We took to going to bathe her in Wednesday and once on the weekend. Meals and dining - She always wanted oatmeal and they saw that she got what she wanted. Activities - Dawn was awesome at keeping resident busy and entertained. Value and cost - I know it is expensive to provide full time care but I expect better care than what she received.

My mother received very poor care in their memory care unit. She resided there less than one month before passing. Several times when myself or a family member visited, we found her on the floor of her room. I was never called when she fell. The hospital found she had a broken collarbone when she was transferred there before passing.

The day shift at CedarStone did a great job. The evening shift had issues. My loved one was considered a fall risk and on many occasions they placed her walker on the opposite side of the room. This happened on the night she broke her hip. The walker was not available when she used the restroom. I would not recommend CedarStone.
