They seem to know everyone by name. They are pretty good with the immediate needs like if she pushes her button. Howevery if I have a concern, communication with us does take a little longer, it's not real clear who to go to with different issues, the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left is doing. It's going very well overall though. When you go in everything is open welcoming, and someone is sitting right at the desk, to help you.

The location is more residential and feels more like home. The apartment is spacious and bright & cheery. Pros include 3meals a day, housekeeping once a week, all inclusive one monthly bill. Negative include bus transportation 5 days a week not 7.

Kara did a great job showing Mom and me around. She showed us several apartments and spent plenty of time talking to us about features and pros and cons. We really appreciated her time and attention. The staff and residents we met were welcoming and the facility would definitely be a smooth transition.

There are a lot of activities. They do everything. They really do the best with what they have in terms of resources. They could improve on the staffing, but it's the same as everywhere else. They do have a lot of people, but for the number of people, you don't always get the attention right away. The reality is that unfortunately the aids are only making $10 an hour. For example, my mother-in-law wears glasses and we couldn't find them one day because they were rolled up in her shirt. The aid didn't take them off before helping her take her shirt off. It's adequate, but not 100%.

I've never been in on any of the activities, I know they have them and I like all the activites they've got for the people that live there, they've got plenty of things to keep them busy, I've just never been there when my mom's doing them. It was up to my mom and she liked this one over the other ones we looked at, she didn't say why but probably because it was closer than some of the others. She hasn't complained about anything to me yet.

Another nice visit! Spent a lot of time talking to Nan and learned a lot. Right fit but just a bit far away.

My mom stayed here for 4 months after 2 bad falls and surgeries. She did not want to go but agreed to try it for a few weeks. 4 months later, she was sad to leave. She loved the staff and made friends with most. She felt she was not as helpless as some so she tried to do for herself. Once she got comfortable, which did take about a month, she was fine. Her only complaint was the food. She did not care for it. Other than that, she was happy there. Clean facility and very nice front porch to spend time outside. She left to go back to her home but says someday she would be happy to return if need be.

They are a very good community with a lot to offer. This was one of our top three communities and we feel all three of them were pretty much the same so we let our loved one choose which one they wanted to move to. The community is very clean and the staff is friendly. We would have been happy with either choice.

Nice staff. Very convenient as to location. This building is similar to the Emeritus. (probably newer) Somewhat of a small dining area. Several comons areas. Main commons area seemed small. No outside walking arraingement.

Very nice. Studio apartment nice size with no balcony. All private funding. Would need assistance with money . 2270.00 per month.

liked the security measures,rooms and their arrangement with the common areas. Nice wide hallways, good light & venilation. Plenty of opportunity for social interaction ie trips, games and outings. Did not find anything that I would call a showstopper.

I toured Vitalia Active Adult Community North Royalton. The person we spoke with was very kind and nice, and the facility was gorgeous. However, I knew she was newer in her role and that reflected in some of the questions I asked her. She was not 100% sure of her answers and it kind of rushed me with the, "is this the right place", type of feeling. We also chose another community because my mom had medical issues and we needed to move her in somewhere ASAP. They were the only one available to accommodate her within a 24 hour turnaround time. It was also the only place she'd actually seen, so she felt more comfortable with that choice. She was unable to tour other places due to medical reasons.

Did not see anyone, no pictures on the walls. It has a cold feeling.

Overall it is a pretty good community, but there are some areas of improvements, for example the can have more activities and more access to our loved one at night. They are understaffed but the staff that are there doing their absolute best, we know times are tough right now. The meal services and the cafeteria are set up and well done compared to other places.

It is very expensive. However, I do feel really safe with them there. They get housekeeping once a week. The housekeeping did a good job but my loved ones may need it more than once a week. It was very nice once housekeeping was completed.

I didn’t feel it was the right facility for my loved one at the time. I didn't like the bed situation / living arrangement for the dementia residents. It seemed awkward and lacking in privacy. But the people who led the tour were good. They told me they try to integrate the memory care residents with the assisted living residents as much as they can for activities and things, and I think that’s good. Maybe not for everyone, but for my loved one with dementia, it would have been good.

When our loved one first moved in we have some issues with the initial start up fees, they were not very clean on how the lock in rent rate would be. Also our loved one at first did not feel that he was getting enough food to eat at meal time, so once he voiced is concern they were very responsive which was nice to hear. The meals have improved and he can get seconds. We just think the book keeping system could use some improvements.
