When it comes to the meals prepared the quality of ok and with the dining service the younger staff are not well verses in serving meals. The food comes out sporadically and not at all once for a group dining together. The cost is scaled to the different levels of care. Based on the experience we have had so far with Vitalia Senior Residences, we would recommend them to other families.

First I would like to say thank you for everything that [name removed] with A Place for Mom did to get my Dad into a facility. It was so nice and he was very pleased with everyone and loved the food. Everyone was very accommodating, very caring and my Dad felt very comfortable there. The location was also perfect. I would absolutely recommend The Fremont to others.

My mother in law is currently a resident at The Fremont Senior Living in the Memory Care unit. I love the staff at this facility! They're very sweet and kind. One girl prayed with my mother in law, who was a Preacher's wife all of her life. They have a Chef who is amazing! The meals are very good! The facility is very clean and beautiful. The only downside is that there's not a whole lot of activities for them. They watch TV a lot. I would definitely recommend this facility to others, though!

From the moment we walked in it felt like home and people truly cared. Staff took a vested interest in my father in law and his needs and supported us as a family. We are kept updated with care and needs for my father in law. My father in law loves the food as do we when we visit and have meals with my father in law. The staff caters to his requests and provides healthy options. We attended one activity on the day of move in. It was great. I don't believe my father in law participated in many activities I would like to see the staff help him engage a bit more. We were new at exploring, assisted living, and what this meant for my father in law We had no idea what to expect financially and we're pleasantly surprised that he has a private studio apartment a very nice studio apartment three or more meals a day activity access, access to healthcare all for an extremely reasonable cost

Overall I have had a great experience at Castlewood Senior Living. It is a beautiful place to live. The facility is well kept, and the staff are helpful and caring.

Everyone is very friendly. They could use more staff is my only complaint. Servers and aides are limited and the kitchen runs out of the meals being served for everyone, so if you're not early for a meal and they run out, you end up with egg salad or chicken salad sandwich for option. Instead of a steak dinner for example. The meals are really really good but not completely consistent. And like I said, they run out quite a bit, so if you don't get to a table by the beginning of the meal window, you probably won't get served the planned meal and you'll have to settle for a simple sandwich. The housekeeping is good. The rooms and bathrooms are great! Very clean and new style. The place is very clean and all of the staff know and remember the residents and family by first name. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

I know Dad seems to enjoy the contact and activities. I know he has also gained 15 pounds or so, which is good. I know he also enjoys the exercise classes and happy hours with entertainers. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend The Boulevard of St. Charles Senior Living to other families.

Vitalia was more expensive than we wanted to spend and didn't have a one bedroom available at the time we needed it. It was certainly in the running for us.

The staff at The Fremont provide Individualized care for my loved one. There is a great staffing ratio. Food quality and environment have made a huge difference in my loved one's health.

My family and loved one had a great experience at The Wellington. This is a very nice community. The staff are very detailed, and give lots of information to answer all of our questions. Anytime my loved one or family need something, they are willing to help. Overall, we would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

We have had a great experience at The Westbury Senior Living. The staff have always been available for any questions we had about our loved one. They were helpful in understanding what my loved one might be going through. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

All of the staff at Hudson Grande Senior Living are friendly and communicate well with our family. I would highly recommend them to other families looking for assisted living.

The Boulevard of St. Charles was the best facility that we saw during our search. Unfortunately, my loved one was only in the facility for less than 24 hours before she passed away. The facility and the staff were amazing, even though she was there for a short period of time. They were all very thoughtful and supportive to our family.

Our tour experience with The Westbury Senior Living went very well and was newer than that place that we chose, but it wasn't a good fit for us because it was clear across town from our house. But it was a beautiful facility.

We love it there, I checked everywhere in Ann Arbor area and this is the best I found. All the staff and residents are so friendly and I love that it is pet friendly! My dad loves animals so even though he doesn't have his own there, it is nice to see others. Would be nice if they had more sugar free options and diabetic meals It's also a super location, but based on our experience we would absolutely recommend them to other families.

They have truly been amazing!! At first she didn't like it. She loves it now. They are so amazing!! I am very picky on cleaning & food. But she loves it! Based on our experience we would definitely recommend Holiday The Cambridge to other families!!

Caring community. Staff is paying attention to residents. As a new resident, the staff talked to mom to get preferences and got to know her needs.

The staff is very nice to everyone, even knowing everyone's name. The building is nice and clean. There is convenient laundry on each wing, which is extremely helpful for mom not having to walk a long distance. Their cleaning service seems to be adequate, although they don't do a huge amount. They basically vacuum and dust around things. She thinks they clean the toilet but she cleans it herself too, so she's not positive. They don't mop the hard floors, but she hasn't asked them to. One thing she doesn't like is when staff unlock her door and come in as they give a quick knock. I don't blame her. She isn't always dressed, or in the bathroom when someone walks in. She says are are plenty of planned things to do. There was live entertainment at Christmas time, which was nice. The number one complaint is the food. All the residents are complaining about the style of food and reduction of choices. This age group have spent their lives cooking home style meals. Offering foods they are not familiar with, will only keep them from getting the nutrients they need. If we pull mom out of this facility, that will be the reason. Meals seem to be the biggest time commitment and biggest event of the day, so it's extremely important. Evidently, they started off with good food and more choices, but all that has changed after the first of the year. She is very happy with the size and layout of the apartment and content with housing. The dining room is nice. She takes advantage of the salon and Phoenix being at the location. No complaints other than the meals. If that improves, we plan to keep her there until she needs additional care. I cannot stress enough how friendly the staff and residents are here!

I toured 3 facilities and this one just felt right. The others were good options and we found nothing wrong just didn't feel as right. They have been so helpful in taking care of mom and her changing needs. They have picked up quickly when she was not quite herself and called me so we could get her evaluated by her physician. They have activities, but mom does not participate. They provide housekeeping and have helped her with her laundry. Overall yes, I would recommend them.
