Before Suncrest Place, my mom was at home by herself all the time and never went anywhere. My brother stopped by Suncrest Place the other day and caught her out socializing, sitting by the fireplace doing a crossword puzzle and talking to people, which was shocking to us. We're pretty happy about it. She doesn't need a ton of care right now, but this is a great place for her not to be alone. The staff have been great. So far so good - nothing bad to report.

This community would be worth your time to go check out for your loved one. The staff here have been positive and are very friendly with my loved one and all of the other residents. This is a nice community.

When I was forced to make the decision for Assisted Living for my mom, it was heartbreaking. I found Hunter's Crossing Place, and during the tour, I could feel the hominess of the residence. I selected mom's apartment and set it up, and as usual, the first few weeks were difficult for her. The staff was so patient and soon mom felt right at home. As her dementia progressed, I eventually had to move her to Memory Care, which Hunter's Crossing also offers. They are so wonderful and patient with mom, and I was quite surprised that the pricing was so much less than other facilities available in Gainesville. I highly recommend Hunter's Crossing for Assisted Living and Memory Care. It gives me much peace of mind knowing how well mom is cared for.

I love the way the staff addresses my mother by her name when they see her. After 6 months here, mostly late afternoon/evening visits I wish there were more staff available until later in the evening but couldn't ask for better staff on duty! I like the phone calls and/or emails for questions/problems. I especially like that I can rest easily knowing mom is in a safe, clean and caring facility.

Everyone there has always treated my loved one with the utmost love and respect. She requires more care than most and we get what we pay for. The only complaint I have ever had is that I believe it is time for us to be able to get the code to get in and out now. Other than that, I am 100% satisfied.

Referral from A Place for Mom and so pleased. Listened to my concerns about Mom’s needs, buddied up my Mom as a new arrival and she made friends fast. Great care and communication as behavior & health challenges happen. Appreciate the caring staff and so happy to have my Mom in this Senior Living. It’s a great fit with having a piano for her to play, activities and the group of friends she has. Beautiful location and rooms are well maintained. Mom enjoys the food and loves the beauty salon. Hoping Mom able to stay at Whitman Place for long time.

My Mom has been at Kingswood for three months now. It was a very difficult situation with her move, coming from the community where I actually worked to Kingswood. My Mom needed a secure building, which we didn't have, and my first thought was to call [name removed] at Kingswood. She, [name removed], [name removed] and all of the caregivers have been so kind to my Mom. They are right there if I have any questions or if my Mom needs anything. If you are looking for a smaller, homey assisted living where ALL staff jump in to help, you should call Kingswood.

The only reason we did not go with this community is because it cost more money. Outside of this the community was beautiful and great. This was our second choice.

The staff are very friendly and good with my loved one. This is a friendly place with people that are easy to get a long with and it is not to big which makes it easier to be personable. They have activities like bingo, the farmers market and other things that they do with the residents.

Our family had an in person tour and the community was very clean and really a nice place. The size of the apartments were very good, but for some reason we we just felt compelled to go with the other community we were checking out.

I see my loved one participating in activities with this community and staying involved. This is a really nice and homey community. It is a great place for my loved one to be and she is enjoying living here.

My mother resided at Westwood after a hospital stay for a heart attack. They gave her time to rest and get a custom to her new home before starting physical therapy. The staff could not have been better. Their chef made every meal to perfection. It would be hard to make any changes that would improve the facility.

Westwood is a great place for anyone needing an assisted living facility. The staff is very outgoing and they actually seem to care for the people they are caring for and love seeing them happy. The facility is always clean in appearance and decorated for every occasion. They reach out to families with updates on their loved ones needs or just to let you know how they are doing.

Kingsbury Place is very clean, nice people that have experience in what they do, the food is good too! #1

I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones. I have recommend them in the past. The community is small. The staff are quick to respond to your concerns and the communication with the family is good. My loved one was cleaned and well cared for while they were here.

What I like the most about Highlander Place are the staff. They're very friendly and very helpful. My mom is in their assisted living area, and she raves about the food there. She cannot wait for the next meal. They have a lot of activities; they're doing things constantly. As a matter of fact, this afternoon there is a concert and a barbecue in the courtyard. She's very actively living there. Her room was all completely redone when she moved in. It has a refrigerator, a microwave, a walk-in shower, and cable TV. They have computers that the people can use, a living room, a dining room, an activity room, a courtyard, and a salon. I'm glad my mom could be happy outside of our home and that she's thriving there so far.
