With mom having dementia and Alzheimers disease I was so worried about her being by herself at home with dad gone. Afraid she'd leave the stove on, forget to eat, or take the wrong pills at the wrong time. At Westwood, she has someone to cook for her and administer her medication, even house calls from the doctor...while she still has the privacy of her own apartment. Any time we tried to have her stay with us, or one of us stay with her, she felt she had to entertain. With her apartment, she was able to take whatever she wanted from her house, to make her apartment home. Plenty of activities to keep the residents active. Westwood has been a godsend!

My dad was against moving anywhere but has really enjoyed it. He has even been attending the bi-weekly lunch outings.

My mother in law has a great time at family night. She enjoys showing off her home to the grandkids.

Ridgeview treated me well more importantly they treated my wife very well up to and after her death. Very caring people. I would tell others to make sure to mark all personal items, ie clothing bedding well as things got mixed up.

My dad lives at Oakley and enjoys all the guys around here. This is not filled with just ladies.

My aunt lives at Oakley Place. It has really given her a purpose.

My mom has been here for a little over a year. Really happy, even if she didn't want to leave home!

Toured for my mom but she passed on hospice. I really feel we could have benefitted from Oakley way before she passed. Right not making the move sooner.

Our chef is fantastic! He really cares about making it the best he can! Always asks how we like it at meal time!

We go out to restaurants twice a month. Its fun to go out.

I love going to morning exercises.

My mom and her sister have been at Miller Place for a few years! Its lovely.

The staff is generally helpful and friendly. They do their best to include everyone in events and were good at getting my mom to lunch and dinner. She was not a breakfast eater. They did a good job delivering the prescriptions she was receiving from her doctors. And getting her showered and helped her style her hair. Coaxing her to come to lunch and dinner and pushing her in her wheelchair when she was losing strength. Nothing I disliked but there were weekend times when I came over and no one was available to unlock the doors. They have buttons to press for entry. That was my only complaint.

From the time you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The Gardens doesn’t even feel like a facility but more like a home , in like there’s no place like home. The residents are as friendly as the staff. What really stuck with me is that the staff didn’t have a , that’s not my job or that’s a different persons responsibility. They would just do it or brought someone who could. I’m glad I was able to find The Gardens for my sister to spend quality time there.

I would say 5 for all. Preston place was awesome and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had no issues while my mom was there.

Terrebonne Place has a professional and friendly staff. There is a welcoming environment with helpful personnel. There are penty of activities to keep residents active and to allow them to enjoy each other's company. The routine meal schedule is very helpful, and the location is very safe.

I selected The Charleston Senior Living community for my loved one after my first visit. The staff was exceptional in taking my family and I on a tour of the facility and explaining all of the services that are provided. I was pleased with the facility, the services, and the staff. My loved one has been in place for the last 3 month and has adjusted well. No matter what position staffing holds, they are all very pleasant and attentive. The facility is clean and well maintained. Housekeeping empties the trash in the residents rooms daily and cleans their rooms weekly. Laundry is completed (if selected) weekly. The room sizes are adequate for one person. I had read on previous reviews that the rooms were small, however, I find the rooms are adequate for the resident as long as you don’t over furnish. The food is phenomenal!! I am very pleased with all of my interactions at The Charleston and think the fees are reasonable and practical for the services obtained. I would highly recommend!

The residents of Blanchard Place are blessed beyond words to have such a caring staff working with them. My client is always clean well cared for and I place my total confidence in Blanchard.
