My mother has been there for over four years. It is by far the nicest facility in the area. It was new when she moved in. The staff is kind and caring beyond what it expected of independent living. Eating there is like going out for lunch as you have many choices. No question-you cannot bet the price anywhere else.

Pine Ridge if plumbrook is a great facility. My father was there for 7 days while me and my family went on vacation. He stayed in the respite apartment which was beautiful. They provided him with room services or dining room meals if he wanted, light housekeeping, activities, cable TV in his apartment, phone and 24 hr assistance. They took excellent care of my father and he wants to go back and visit. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone to place their loved one.

My mother says she feels like she's treated like a Queen!

We recently retired and will be moving to Williamsburg in November with our mom. After working with A Place for Mom and touring 4 independent living communities, we decided on The Verena for her. The building, services and amenities are outstanding. Mom is currently living in her own house and the size of the 2 bedroom apartment was the perfect balance of down-sizing without losing important space for visitors from out of town. We can't say enough about how helpful Barbara Bane has been in making our decision. She was always very responsive to our questions and spent time with mom via phone to address her questions as well. While moving from your own home to an apartment in a different state will be stressful, mom seems happy about her decision to join The Verena family and is looking forward to making new friends and enjoying the many benefits of this beautiful community. And we'll have the peace of mind knowing that even though we're only going to be 10 minutes away, mom will have everything she needs to continue to live independently.

Very pleased with our visit! very nice facility & placed a deposit here as well. Our second choice for apt. Sister condo has sold & must work out dates, etc..

My parents sold their condo and moved across town to be closer to family. With all these changes taking place at such a later stage in their life, the Villas couldn't have made their transition easier. The community seems to have a larger number of "mobile" residents, which is what my parents were looking for in a community. However, should the need arise, the services are available. And, from observation they do an great job in tending to those residents needs. SPACIOUS apartments, YUMMY meals, AWESOME on and off site activities. From the administration staff, to the dining staff, to the activity staff, to the maintenance staff, you couldn't have a better group of employees with such enthusiasm for their jobs. Would highly recommend the Villas!

My 84 year old father has lived at Preston Place for a year now, and has told me several times how glad he is to be there. He likes the individual apartments, and lovely grounds, which are always well maintained. Since he's always been active and independent he really likes not living in a building where everything opens to an inside hallway, as many retirement communities do. Preston Place is located in an upscale and active part of Plano, with plenty of close shopping, pharmacies, and grocery stores. The various apartment options, from efficiency to two bedroom, with choices of more or fewer luxury trimmings gives flexibility in pricing options, as does being able to select different options for meal plans. The staff is the best part of the wonderful place. They are always upbeat, friendly, know the answer to every question, and obviously care about every resident.

This was a tough decision for particularly my Mother after leaving their home of over 40 yrs but both love this Community, the Staff, Nathan the shuttle driver is over the top The Best, the activities and work out classes and facilities. Cannot say enough about the positive experience my parents are having at Meadowstone Place!!!

They are well organized, and they know how to service those people who need assisted living. They did a very good job. Everyone that I met at Shelby, they were so congenial and so interested in what they were doing. Anything we asked for they are right there on it.

Very friendly, helpful, caring staff. Very cozy for my Dad.

Things have gone very well with Verena at Virginia Center. It is a nice looking, clean, well kept community, and all of the cleaning services and amenities offered have worked out well. They're also very responsive when it comes to any maintenance requests that we've made!

My loved one doesn’t use all the things offered by this community, so it’s a little hard to rate it. The staff is exceptionally friendly. I think it’s the best in the category of independent living with security in the Dallas area. I have been researching for this for about two years.

The staff were amazingly wonderful, so easy to work with, and accommodating, and helpful. They were so kind, they seemed to look at each situation individually. I would recommend them to anyone. They seemed to have an awful lot of activities going on all the time. The food would be a five, it was wonderful.

Office staff is always helpful. Dinners are very good and reasonably priced. Maintenance staff have always been available when needed and very helpful. Driver is very courteous, helpful and very conscientious with elder residents.
