On our first visit, my sister and I felt this was the best place for our dad. The building is clean, staff is friendly and caring. Veterans share lunch together once a month. My dad enjoys the entertainment provided, especially during the holiday season. The bus takes residents out to various activities including a cider mill, Belle Isle and looking at the beautiful Christmas lights. During the summer months, residents are able to plant a vegetable garden in the courtyards. The front entrance is inviting with many chairs to enjoy the outside and a large overhang for protection from the elements. Don't hesitate to take a tour and ask questions. I think you'll realize Pine Ridge of Garfield is the right place to be.

I moved here two months ago. It was the easiest adjustment I could have hoped. Everyone was so friendly & welcoming it felt like home immediately. After touring many options, I know I made the Right Choice.

Large Apartment. Great staff very caring – happy. So kind & pleasant to everyone. So many trees – lovely flowers & plants. The food is great, chef will help you if you are on a special diet. So many activities for anyone to choose your favorites. My favorite is all special speakers from the college.

I have been impressed with Arbour Square since I started looking at senior homes for my client. Their building is well maintained and very well crafted. The staff is above reproach and will do whatever it takes to keep your loved one safe. The director knows my name, which resident that I come to see and continually asks me for an update on how hes adjusting. Every one of the staff is pleasant, looks pleased to be working there and maintains pleasant interactions with the residents and their guests. We recently had an incident in which my client was having a difficult time due to a change in medication. I was called immediately by the director, told of his change in status and that they would be waiting with him in his apartment. I arrived a half hour after the initial call and the director was keeping him company, making sure of his safety. I know that the care for each of their residents. but this went above the call of duty. A number one job at a number one facility.

[Removed] made our family feel at home right away with her attentive care and warm hospitality. Her presence is a special gift. The new director is also so kind and a wonderful asset to this location. The cafe is brightly lit with sunshine and the open menu makes it feel more like a restaurant. [Removed] helps decorate the many theme parties as well as give loving care to those who go out on community excursions or to doctor appointments on the pineridge bus. Overall, the staff at Pineridge Garfield are very special people who have found their calling.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting and evaluating Pine Ridge as a potential home for my 82 year old mother. From the moment I stepped in I felt comfortable. This is an active, happy community. Every resident I talked to seemed quite happy there. Jane gave me a tour of the facility and answered all my questions. She was so friendly and gracious. The facility is large and well planned. It was bright and clean. The rooms are nice, standard size some have a balcony or lovely patio. The pricing is fair and actually less than other facilities if you require additional care. I hope to have my mother living here soon! Do not hesitate to visit if you are thinking of trying Pine Ridge!

Our parents moved into Arbour Square two months ago after a long time deciding it was time to down size. As anticipated, it was a very emotional time and we were praying for a smooth transition. We wanted Mom and Dad to be in a place we could trust where they could prosper. We stumbled upon Arbour Square and are so glad we did. Arbour Square facility and employees have answered and have exceeded our prayers. Every single person we/they encounter go above and beyond to make our parents comfortable and truly strive to ensure mom and dad thrive and enjoy life in their golden years. There are activities, therapies, good food, beautiful facilities, wonderful people, so mom and dad can remain independent, yet we know they are cared for in a kind, caring, respectful way. We would highly recommend Arbour Square to all and thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

My father really likes this place. Although he had to get use to living in an apartment he likes being able to see and talk to people. They have plenty of activities which he has to decide which ones to participate. He also had to change his schedule of doing things because he now has to walk his dog but it is working out for him. I am so glad A Place for Mom made me aware of this place. They were very helpful in seeking out what would work for my father. Verena at the Reserve is an independent living apartments with a building for people to meet. They don't have a cafeteria they have a dining room with white table cloths and a Chef. The food is really good. It is clean and the people are very friendly both residents and staff.

My mom has been here now for at least 3 years and she considers it home. She does not want to go anywhere else. The staff is awesome. They call the daughters if there is an issue. It has just been a completely great experience for my mom between my sister's location and mine.

We have worked closely with Meadowstone Place for over 2 years. Our experience with the residents, management and staff have been exemplary. I have recommended the property to several individuals within our client network and their response has been the same. I look forward to a very long relationship with this property.

I relocated my mother to Meadowstone Place in late-August 2015. After one year, the facility, staff, operations, activities, etc. have completely exceeded any of our expectations. This facility is a true hidden gem in the ocean of retirement community options in the Dallas area. Consistently well maintained. Broad array of activities. Good dining options/program. Very, very attentive staff. Very convenient location. Good security. Good amenities on the property. Would offer 6-stars if this was an option.

This is my third year living at Meadowstone Place.I have found a home and a second family here. My children live out-of-town but are comfortable knowing I am happy, that I feel safe, that I am busy doing things I enjoy with people who are bright and interesting and still full of life. I have a full kitchen that allows me to cook and bake but if I want company I can always choose to sit down in the dining room with friends for a pleasant meal prepared by the chef. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well appointed with crown molding and recessed lighting. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and I can spend time working in the vegetable garden or planting flowers around my front and back doors. When I step out either my front or my back door I step into the out of doors not a hallway which makes me feel like I am in a house. It is a quiet and beautiful place to live.

As soon as my wife and I saw this place and met the staff and residents, we immediately said we wanted to belong. We have been here 7 months and we are not only pleased, but we are overjoyed and blessed that The Lord brought us here. All of the previous reviews that I have read echoes my feelings exactly. This facility would not be as great as it is if it were not for the staff. The happiness reflected by the residents is the direct results of the management that cares for us and pays attention to details and our needs. I am happy to write this review and share my feelings with future residents looking for the perfect place to retire and share life with us.

This staff works so hard to make sure that we are taken care of. I was recently diagnosed with cancer. When I got the news, over the phone, I was in the exercise room. I immediately went looking for Lawana. When I didn't find her, I went home to cry. She called me about 5 minutes later. She and Jennifer came to my apartment, hugged me, and allowed me to vent. They didn't have to do it. They were there for me and took a long time with me. This is why this place is so special. They care with their hearts. The activities planned are so great too. They work so hard.

Downsized and moved here 3 months ago. Cannot be happier. Both residents and staff are overtly anxious to help in anyway they can. I have met many of the residents since arrival, and not a single one of them has ever had a negative comment about their life here (except, maybe "What took me so long?"). PS: My dog is as happy as I am. A world full of new friends and smiling faces.

Very safe and pleasant home-like environment. The apartments are very spacious. The community is small enough for the staff to get to know the residents. Pet friendly too! The residents seem really happy. The activities are interesting and help the residents get to know one another.

My father has been living at Meadowstone Place for several years and we are so happy! They take wonderful care of their residents -- there is really a "family" feel and I know my dad is in a safe, fun, friendly environment. I tell all of my friends who are looking for a senior residence for their parent(s) to check out Meadowstone Place first -- it's got everything to have that feel of independence, surrounded by a community of love. My mother -in -law has enjoyed Meadowstone Place for more than a year now! She moved to Dallas and was not familiar with the area and didn't know anyone. Now, she is so busy we have to plan far in advance to get on her schedule! The staff is friendly and helpful and we couldn't be more pleased with her apartment and the entire facility. There is something for everyone at this facility. I am continually surprised by all the small details Meadowstone Place has thought of - doctors that come to the facility, lectures and outings. She is safe, secure and enjoying life at Meadowstone Place.

We have lived here for 4 months and loving it. Our neighbors are friendly, our apartment is pretty and plenty of room for our things. Even our little dog loves it. Plenty of places to walk. We love walking here because of the flowers along the walks. It is so peaceful. And we usually see a neighbor to stop and chat with. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Everyone seems to go out of their way to be of help. If something needs fixing in our apartment, there is never a long wait. The food is delicious and we can choose if we want to eat in the clubhouse or eat in our apartment. Lots of entertainment available and trips to local restaurants on the Meadowstone bus. We are so glad we made this move.
