If you are contemplating a new home at Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby, I think you are making a smart choice. My Mom moved in [date removed]. The food is excellent, the staff were amazing, the other residents were awesome and there was so many fun things to do. My mom LOVED the Karaoke! (I think she always wanted to be a singer and she was able to be in the spot light every week with Karaoke) When we were searching for a place for my mom I was skeptical because the price was so much less than others. I surely thought it was a mistake however, it wasn't at all. I am so grateful to everyone for helping with her quality of life which was way about excellent! My mom just passed away at the age of 95 and her last years were very eventful and fun due to PRV of Shelby. The director and her assistant were there prior to my mom and many other staff were working at the facility for years which is not very common these days in a lot of businesses. Thank you so much!! I am forever grateful!

Staff is unbelievably good to me

Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and safe. Many activities to keep you involved. Food is just like home. Nice living.

The rooms are very nice as well as the entire facility. Cleanliness is first rate. The staff is very helpful and caring. There are lots of activities for the residents to enjoy. Dining service is good with plenty of meal variety. Pine Ridge is overall a very happy and upbeat place for the residents.

The staff is excellent, the facility is clean and well-kept, and transportation is handy and available when needed. In general we are very happy. We love [names removed]and of course [names removed]

Very helpful in answering questions about maintenance issues, special programs offered for residents, help with phone technology, and positive feedback. I have noticed the staff are so empathetic to all residents during grief issues of loss of a loved one. This is a good place to look live!

Meals & Dining received a 4 only because they don't do much for dinner. It's cooked and picked up very early and there's typically not an option to have dinner together with other residents. The community is very friendly, both staff and residents. My parents were from a small town and had lived there for over 40 years. Being somewhere new and trying to meet new people was very scary to them. They have now found their group and enjoy activities and outings with other residents. They know other residents who are quieter and less social. That works too. So there's something for everyone.

Toured this facility twice and had lunch once. It is very clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Verena to anyone looking for a retirement facility. Was pleased and impressed at the closed spaces for ‘stuff’ - which is what I need.

I recently volunteered for an event at Pineridge of Garfield. It was my first time ever being there and I was overwhelmed by the friendly reception. [name removed], the activities director, is a key person at this location for organizing and directing this wonderful event. The residents and future residents were so happy and thankful. I also noticed how clean the place was and the lunch served was delicious. The rest of the staff were very gracious and grateful. It was an awesome experience.

We felt welcomed and at home the minute we walked in. The community was clean and beautifully landscaped. Lots of activity while we were there. The sales team was engaged and did not conduct a hard sell in anyway. Overall a very pleasant experience.

My grandmother has thrived living here, making so many new friends and always busy with a new activity. Her mental health and happiness levels have skyrocketed thanks to Arbour Square and the community they facilitate. She also adores the staff and loves all the meals

I visited my grandmother here for grandparent’s day and had a great time. We had a lovely brunch buffet and the food was good! The servers were kind and the atmosphere was awesome. Can’t wait to go back again for a visit.

I love the small group activities at Meadowstone. We go to the Pocket Sandwich Theater and Dallas Symphony. The gardens are beautiful and I'm so close to the Jewish Community Center of Dallas. I love to go there for lunch. This is the perfect place for me to live.

From the minute you walk into this facility, you feel right at home. I know that when my mom moved there she fell in love immediately with the caring staff, the amazing food and the wonderful living conditions. The activities at Verena are the best in the industry. They have consistently planned things to do throughout the day and even at night sometimes. Overall, I would give this place 10 out of 10.

I really like it here at Laurel Springs, everyone is so nice, I've only been here since April of 2024 and have already grown found the property and the amenities that it has.....The staff is just great! [name removed](manager) is such a Diva, not to mention that she's at the top of her game...she is there when you need her and gets the job done! The staff puts up with so much of our demands and they are still your friend!!! Woohoo! I recommend Laurel Springs to anyone that is looking for an atmosphere of fun, relaxation, doing things like swimming, going on trips, movies, food, just overall fun, fun and more fun!!! Come and join the fun!

I have lived here for 7 years and my family lives close by. I was a founder when I came to this community. They don’t recognize the people who were founder’s anymore. My family isn’t moving me at this time. I do not have any complaints. I have enjoyed Living here at Verena and love are staff they are so very helpful and wonderful people. A Happy Resident.

My mil was in a bad place and Verena was the perfect place to get her into. She loves the activities and the people it’s like the family away from family. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The food she looked forward to seeing what the chef made everyday and absolutely says it is always fantastic!

This is my home and all my friends are here. I love Meadowstone and how nice everyone is. We have alot of activities and [name removed] at the front desk always helps me with things I need to take care of.
