Nice cozy community. All of us in the same age group (old). Everyone is just like family and the ladies that run this place are fantastic. Running all the events and fixing thinks when broken. You can’t ask for better people to help you in your older years.

Life at Verena is good. There is enough activity for body and mind. The socials are good to connect with other people. The sidewalks are always clean for daily walks. Even with the snow, they were cleared in no time. I made a good decision in moving here.

-Very friendly residents & very cooperative staff members, as well as: -Very friendly staff members who will get done what needs to be done while keeping you in the loop/up to date as the project progresses - Food is great (5 STARS, IMHO) Chef is very open to questions & suggestions as well as being very friendly -Management is VERY friendly, kind & courteous -Housekeeping staff is efficient, courteous & friendly. -Having a houseguest is welcomed. But their food must be purchased, *at a very reasonable cost*. -PETS are welcomed We have 2 cats Other residents also have dogs In the time we have lived here, there has been zero problems (to my knowledge) with residents pets. The Oaks is very much like a small community. There are lots of trees with a path and individual housing. It also has a library, exercise and dining areas. The kitchen is open so one can see the meals being prepared. The residents are very friendly. I looked at two apartments and they were very clean. The Oaks is a place that I would love to become my home.

Verena is a beautiful place. My mother has been living there for almost a year, and she is very happy with her apartment, and the staff are always helpful. We just shared their holiday party with her, and everything was first class.

I have lived here, at Verena, for a little over six years. For me, this is home!! I have a lovely apartment, good friends, an abundance of activities, great food, a bus to take me to doctors appointments, or just go on one of the many outings. I am near my son & his family, but maintain my own life & activities at Verena. It is a clean, friendly, & safe environment, I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to live.

I have been here for just over two years and am happy with the facility. The staff is professional and always willing to help in any way they can. The number of events planned on a daily basis provides the opportunity to be as busy as you would like to be. There are many special events throughout the year which are always fantastic. The residents are friendly, warm, and welcoming.

Besides the bright and welcoming facility, it’s the people, both staff and residents, that make Bloomfield a wonderful place to live. It’s not the biggest place around, but that’s part of what I like about it. It is a caring family. The director stops in at breakfast every morning and knows everyone by name. He’s always available to help with anything — even cell phones. Our maintenance manager also takes time to pop in at breakfast to say “Hi” and tell a corny joke or two. The staff and residents truly care about each other. I feel very safe and comfortable here, and, under the circumstances, can’t imagine a better place to live.

Mom has lived here for almost two years - the staff has been excellent, the food is really good (thank you Chef [name removed]) and [name removed] and her team make sure there is always something to do - Wine Down Wednesday, Holiday parties, outings - just very active. This has given my mom a community of friends and there is a real social life, if the resident partakes. Individual residents also host events, every evening with chats, cards, billiards - just a good place.

I have been here for 6 years. I started in a big apartment and have recently transferred to a smaller unit. I appreciate the community, activities and the feel. The exercise class, the gatherings, it is all so good. Highly recommend visiting Bloomfield if you are looking.

New chef is working really well, he goes around to each table and talks after each meal is served. [removed name], the housekeeper is amazing, she has been at Bloomfield for over 20 years and knows the place so well. The residents are active and help with everything. The staff is so helpful with my hearing aids and phone. I am so happy here.

Enjoyed my visit the people were friendly and nice. The residents seemed happy as well. Would like to explore more apartment options. The studios are small by doable. Thank you again. Will call the sales people to discuss further questions I have.

Active senior community offering much-appreciated support of two meals a day and bi-weekly cleaning (no assisted living). Dad has enjoyed meeting new friends and getting involved! Highly recommended!!

My life at Verena at the glen is wonderful. Activities, food, staff is outstanding. A wonderful place to live and after looking at other communities, my daughter and I decided Verena was perfect for my move from California. I am very satisfied here.

I am a professional entertainer who focuses on the retirement community and I only have positive things to say about your entertainment director(name removed). Verena at the Glen is the second facility that I worked with her. She is both caring and professional. The facilities is well maintained as well as inviting.

I’ve lived at Verena for two months and couldn’t be happier with my decision. The people here are so friendly and inviting, and the staff is excellent. From the hands on director to the housekeeping staff you couldn’t ask for a more professional and helpful group of people.

I went to visit a family member at Arbour Square. She is so happy there. There's so much to do. Lots of activities to keep her busy. She doesn't drive but they have vans that can take her on trips, shopping, dining and to her doctor's appointments. The staff is so nice. It's obvious they really care for the residents.

I recently visited my kids daycare for their Christmas concert. The residents were thrilled to have a group of kids come to present. The facility was very nice, the staff were very helpful and the residents had treats for the kids. I would recommend Bloomfield for anyone looking for independent living.

Pine Ridge Garfield is a wonderful location for Seniors to live! They have many activities, to include facilitated exercise, and the residents truly care about one another - like family. It is clean, newly renovated and offers great outings and something for all. If you or a family member are looking for a great place to live, visit Pine Ridge Garfield. It is conveniently located and the staff are terrific!

Parking was very good. Main entrance well kept. Staff pleasant, smiling, helpful. I had lots of room to set-up my equipment. The people I played for were responsive to me, sang along and clapped. The food was very good and the place was clean.
