I truly enjoy living at The Oaks at Plano. We are offered many Senior Living lifestyle programs while living here. There are lots of friendly people and fun daily activities. I enjoy the exercise choices and the Mystery Book Club. We have weekly entertainment and Happy Hours. Also, bus transportation to doctor appointments and local shopping is available. I encourage fellow seniors to come visit.

I like the full and varied activities they schedule for residents. They are all optional, some have a very reasonable charge, many are no charge. They have no built-in meal plan, but weekday free continental breakfast, and several other free meals each month, maintenance & water covered, transportation covered to medical and shopping, and select other activities. Very friendly and helpful atmosphere among the residents and also with the staff. All of that is 5's.

When looking for a place for mom or dad, give us a look. Leaving a house is a difficult choice. I have personally lived in 4 different properties over the last 8 years and Verena at Leander is by far the best. I feel safe, well fed and have transportation to where I need to go (within a certain distance). Grocery store (HEB) and Wal Mart runs are made about once a week. Everyone is friendly and accepting. We have outings (either eating out or visiting an interesting place). We have games to play (just about any that you would want) and if we don't have it, you can start it. A couple of tips when visiting, be sure to include your mom or dad in your visits. After all they are ones who will be living with us. Keep in mind that we are Independent Living and not Assisted Living. Your mom or dad will need to be able to look after themselves (medications and dressing, etc). I would love to meet your mom or dad. Please keep Verena at Leander at the top of your list. We are all family.

I came from a home I owned 23 years. It was 3200 sq ft. and had a huge flower and vine filled yard. My health just wouldn't let me care for it anymore. I also did no neighborhood socializing. Here I have no maintenance responsibilities and only have flowers on my patio I want and can care for. I have fit into the community living and social part of this wonderfully. There is a great community of people here you can never be alone or bored if you dont want to be. Come join us.

They are kind, knowledgeable, understanding, helpful, and professional. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Great staff! Friendly and helpful... planned outings all the time. The calendar is full but you don't have to do anything or you could do everything. 100% recommended! I've never seen my dad happier!

I never thought that my retirement would have turned out this way. The years living here at Preston Place has been remarkable with forward thinking staff and neighbors who care to make this a fun and safe place to be. Preston Place is one of a kind. No regrets!!

From the first meeting to see the facility my parents, myself and brother felt very welcomed. We had a very detailed extensive tour meeting residents and staff along the way. Came back another time with parents and close family friend and received the same welcoming and even more detailed tour. Each time my parents felt more and more comfortable with a difficult decision to downsize and make a big move.

I am going on my 5th year here at Preston Place and I must say that because of [name removed], the improvements to this place have been taking place! I have seen more improvements in 3 months than I have seen in 5 years. Thank you [name removed] for making this place seem like home!

My wife and I have been here for 3 yrs 5 months. What a great place to live. We have met alot of nice people, that are like family now. We enjoy the social intraction and all the great activities they have to offer. Like cards, games, trivia, karaoke to name a few. We have coplete staff support that really cares about us. The residents are treated with repect, and the focus is to keep us vibrant and happy. We have a spacious and modern appartment with a balcony view. The food is good, with many choices from our chef prepared meals. We have great housekeeping services. We enjoy excercising 3 to 4 times per week with a professional instructor. We also have taken advantage of the transportation available to us to go shopping, movies, Dr visits or just out to a park or retaurant. It`s Really a fun place to live

Everyone here from staff to residents are super friendly and helpful! The rooms are huge and the entire place it alwasy super clean. The transportation is awesome a 15 mile radius for your appointments. Chef and food is excellent! Great value compared to other places we visited. If you are looking for Independent Living The Verena at Leander is awesome!

My husband, [name removed], and I have been living in one of the cottages at Verena of Hilliard for a little over 9 months. We are very happy that we made the move. The staff members have been very welcoming and have made themselves available to discuss any issues, questions, or just to chat. The clubhouse facility is beautiful, and we enjoy participating in a variety of activities, parties, happy hours, and dining. The food is amazing! We have one of the pond view cottages. The view alone is worth it. The cottage itself is spacious, has a modern floor plan and decor. It is perfect for our needs. Best of all, we have made new friends with whom we love spending time.

Verena is a beautiful, well maintained, place to live. The staff is wonderful, and efficient, and the food is great. There are multiple, and fun, activities to fill your day. I have made many friends here, and I could not be happier.

I love living in this 55+Independent Community. There are a lot of activities if you participate. We have great staff and it's so important. We have a pool and hot tub which are great. We are in a great location in Mustang close to grocery stores including Braums and pharmacies. It's an all around perfect place to live.

ParcPlace is a family. It is an independent living facility, however, things happen as we mature that keeps us down for a while. Our friends and neighbors come together to help in any way they can. We Celebrate each other and we gather frequently to enjoy the company of our community. It is so important to have people around you. You can participate as much as you want or as little as you want, but there is always someone around to talk with. The staff is amazing. We love it here.
