Verena is more than I expected - love my apartment w a patio; gourmet meals served in a lovely dining room; too many activities to attend and friendly staff and residents. Downside: its far from shops but has library access and paved woods path.

All would be a 5 except food that would be about a 3. However, think cook tries to make up for it by serving excellent desserts. No. 8 is questionable as an annual increase of 6.5% was initiated this month. Dont know if all were affected but Im still waiting for an answer to my complaint. Mgmt changes, effective 10/15- longtime employee handling accounting is departing to retire. For me it's too much walking. I have a dog walker once a day and that relieves it somewhat but the poor dog is getting older and we probably will be moving on next year. Think of you frequently and what adelight it was to so rob with you. Shall call some day and catch up!!

The staff was friendly and welcoming from the front desk to the sales staff. The residents are vibrant and friendly. The cafeteria selections are excellent, with good choices of food and good substitutes. The activity calendar is full of fun events for seniors, both with internal activities and external field trips. They have a TV/movie room, a puzzle/game room, exercise room, and gardening room. Residents can take care of their own little gardens and watch their vegetables and flowers grow throughout the summer season.

It's a bright cheerful and helpful place. The staff is super nice and really care about their residents

The villas provides for all my needs.

I'd rate the overall experience as a 5. Staff and management work hard to maintain the facilities in excellent repair, and the amenities--including an on-campus restaurant--are terrific.

This is an awesome community. The people here really care and friendly residents too.

The building itself was welcoming and nice updates to units. The entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of activity that appealed to my mom. She even liked the food which is a huge compliment when she says so. My only thing is I wish we would have known that we needed evaluation for the Homestead ahead of move in. We would've realized that it wasn't a good fit for my father in law

Parc Place is a very nice senior apartment. From [name removed] in Sales, [name removed] Moving in Coordinator and [name removed] in charge of Storage and other services were all very helpful in the move of my Mother. They have a lot of activities and everyone is friendly. They have a nice choice of meals on the weekly menu. My Mother is settling in and enjoying living there.

[names removed]seem very in tune with making my mom feel welcome. The welcome committee and most all of the other residents made were all so friendly and no one ever let her eat alone. She was always asked to join a table at breakfast and lunch! She also loves all of the activities available for fun.

From the time I had my initial conversation with [name removed](I forgot the first lady's) until days afterwards, [name removed] checked on me. I highly recommend this agency to any and everyone. Thank you

I am very satisfied here at Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby. I love the entertainment & enjoy Happy hour! Some of the waitstaff could be more friendly.

Moving to Bloomfield 2 years ago was a type of "Goldilocks" experience. You remember the fairytale about a little girl who explored the empty home of a family of three bears and found most of their living conditions to be uncomfortable to her. Well, I explored several independent living facilities before I chose Bloomfield. Some places didn't have enough features, and some had too many nonnegotiable challenges. I found Bloomfield and it was just right. The staff is wonderful, the residents become family and there are always found activities to engage in. I have settled here at Bloomfield and plan to live happily ever after.

I actually needed activity and socialization in my life and I sure chose wisely. We play card games, dice games, wii bowling, bingo weekly. We also have a monthly calendar with trips to many venues, stores, doctor runs-and places residents can suggest.
