Thanks so much to a "Place for Mom". They were so very helpful in our search for an appropriate community for my 100 year old, Aunt Hazel. We moved Aunt Hazel approximately a month ago to Sanctuary at Marian Oakland and could not be happier with her surroundings. The staff is friendly and helpful, her accommodations are just what she needs. The amenities and the cost fit into what she could afford. I can't say enough positive things about this wonderful community or "A place for Mom". They helped this very difficult search so easy. All of the places they recommended were wonderful communities, Thank you so much for your expertise and help.

My mother- in-law is there and I wish we would have moved her there years ago! Her quality of life has improved so much and she is enjoying herself more than she has in 20 years. I am very happy for her!

We are so happy with Sanctuary At Marian Oakland. It is so afordable!!! My brother in law has limited resources, and many of the other places we looked at would have just erroded his savings up over time. At Sanctuary At Marian Oakland, all of his meals, lodging, utilities and care are well within his income, protecting his savings for the possible emergencies that may arise down the road. I cannot say enough good things about the staff; they are kind, friendly and go out of their way to make the residents feel welcome, comfortable and at home. The food is great!!! My brotherin law loves it!!! Fresh, plentiful and delicous!!!! The rooms are modest, but kept in good repair and clean. We feel so fortunate to have found this wonderful ,yet affordable, long term solution for our family member's needs.

My mother has been a resident of this facility for nearly 2 months. Dhe has had some health issues that have slowed her transition to some degree. However, the entire facility has been first rate and we are very pleased with our choice for my mother. Clean, safe, good food, friendly residents and staff, and activities for residents make this a great place for senior citizens to list.

Highland Hills has been an answer to prayer. Highland Hills is WONDERFUL!! The people are angels - gifts from God and they truly enjoy and love my husband. I visited every facility and Highland wasn't only choice. I can keep him at home anytime and this has been an answer to prayer. I can eat with him there and the children and grandchildren can and are always made welcome! I am so thankful every day.

I love it and my mother loves it so it works for me =)

Sanctuary at the Oaks is a very good community. It is very well run by the staff and is very well maintained. It is a very impressive community that has a lot to offer to all of its residents. It was really difficult to decide between this community and another one. Overall this is an excellent community and would recommend it to anyone.

The reason we gave it a 4 is only because I think everyone can improve somehow, however we have her in a very nice place now. They have been great and I really like it there. The staff is really nice, and the facility is very clean. Also, the memory care is very homey

Services within the building available; physical therapy , podiatrist, additional interim care, afternoon shift nurse and day shift to support Care team. Caring and would allow me as a family advocate for my mom able to work with care team for support needs

We were very satisfied with our experience. During her stay she was never well enough to participate in activities. The caregivers were always very considerate. There was significant turnover. It wasn't perfect, but I don't think it ever can be. We were happy with the experience.

Everyone- staff and residents are so welcoming. All are eager to help. Staff are respectful and treat residents like family. There is always something fun to do. There is transportation to shopping, doctors and activity outings.

We went with The Oaks over others places we saw because of all of the things they have to offer. Plus the step down to assisted living if needed. The staff is great, I just wish they had a doctor on call for the weekends. They have a beautiful facility, wonderful staff my Mom loves her new place I would highly recommend The Oaks.

Therapy was excellent. Staff dis a good job getting me in shape to go home.

Affordable, safe, Christian more specific Catholic. Being on the St Edith's campus is also a bonus. [Name removed] the head of maintenance is very caring and goes above and beyond. There have been some issues with the free transportation. Good value overall.

The staff was great, compassion and kind to my mom. The nurses and CNAs were responsive to my moms needs.

The McAuley was wonderful! Staff and residents were friendly and vibrant! The offerings and activities were excellent! The cost - especially the (refundable) lump sum - was responsible for my aunt choosing [removed] instead.

We cannot comment on the activities because our loved one did not participate in them. Of course more CNA and care givers is an area of improvement. Of course, I no that at this time it is difficult to hire staff, but at that price staffing should be adequate . We have had to hire additional caregivers to cover her care. The staff is friendly to the residents and family and appear to want to help. Based on our experience we would recommend St. Joseph of the Pines to the families.

We feel Mom is safe. Staff response is ok, not always fast enough for Mom. Meals are good, her involvement in activities has been minimal at this point.
