Trinity Health Senior Communities

Our father spent about 10-12 weeks in AL at the Neighborhoods of White Lake. Each member of the staff was so kind, loving, respectful and showed grace and dignity to our father as well as the residents. He received OT and PT 5 days per week. Everyone was attentive, gentle and took time to get to know residents and built a sense of family within each neighborhood. Not only would I recommend this care facility to others looking for a place for their loved one but would use it for another loved one in our own family.

All the staff members are very nice & helpful. The rent has increased annually. That is a negative for sure. My mom has a studio. Size is small, as expected. All amenities are listed on the website I think.

I would highly recommend them. Mom only ended up being there less than a day and they were very gracious about all the turmoil involved in getting her to the hospital when we were out of town. Mom knew people who lived there and they were happy there.

You can feel confident with your person in the Bellbrook Family. We visited and it felt most like her personality. Employees seemed happy and the meals are "pay as you go" for inde living apartments - from the Oak Glen Restaurant located inside of BellBrook.

Everyone was wonderful. [name removed] was very attentive and very compassionate. [name removed] was great also.

Mercy Circle was wonderful. My dad was able to heal with support kindness and support. We highly recommend Mercy Circle to everyone.

Entire was outstanding! Sincere! Caring! Respectful and helpful with everything! Needs a little more cleaning odds and ends paint room replaced carpet. Meals were good and plentiful needs more fruit variety.

This is a great facility! The staff are all extremely caring and compassionate. They have lots of options of apartment and amenities offered.

Great experience. All the staff were attentive and every concern was addressed promptly. From the front desk to day to day care I felt heard and felt confident mom would be safe. There were few glitches and those that occurred were resolved. Super peaceful environment.

I would certainly (and have already) recommend SJV. I've had a great experience with the community. The interactions with staff are always pleasant and helpful. The common spaces are nice and always sparkling clean. My Mom's room is spacious and recently refurbished.

Excellent office people, they are great at answering questions. They have many events for residents to participate in, my Mom loves it there.

It has been good but challenging. My mom seems happy there but at [age removed} there is always something. She doesn't care for the new menus as they don't always have an option that she likes. But I give them a 5 because of [name removed], the resident liaison. The reason for the care services rating is that my mom is in the independent living area so there really is no care to rate. I would like to see them offer an ala cart menu for someone who doesn't care for the offerings of that meal. My mom doesn't like fancy stuff and so sometimes a simple offering like a hamburger, hot dogs, Mac and cheese as an alternative would make it more attractive for her to go to the dining room. She would enjoy scrambled eggs during the week for breakfast, but it is only offered on the Brunch days (Sundays and holidays). I am discouraged on the pricing because my mom has an allotment that they use for her meals. But when they don't offer something she will eat, then we just lost out on that and they do not give us any credit. For several months the dining room was closed on her floor. Their offering was that she could walk over to another building (not happening) or go up to another floor. Our option was to buy groceries so she could eat in her apartment. Because she would not go to either place, we lost out on the meal credit that she did not use. That ticked me off since this was their problem not ours. I feel that we should have received that credit toward her bill.

The memory care unit was amazing. I don't have much to draw from for the rest of the facility. I can tell you some of the residents living there seemed friendly and happy enough. If I were in the market for a facility to age in place and wanted to stay within the city they would be first on my list based on my experience- but that was 2 years ago so I'd have to do my research all over again. Make sure they stayed up to par in the meantime.

What has made The Oaks such a great experience so far is the overall quality of care, and I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Very happy with my mother's overall experience. [name removed] you have taken such good care of her. When your loved one becomes ill, it is nic to know there is a place you can trust that will take good care of them and that place is Mercy Circle! Kudos!
