Transforming Age

It was beautiful but expensive. It seemed they went out of their way to craft things for each person individually. They had a lot of religious things, and brought school kids in for different things, we saw a Jr high student interviewing a resident when we were here.

My mother has spent time in several assisted living facilities and this has been her best experience by far. They communicate consistently with her and I and its easy to reach anyone you need to talk to. The facility itself is quite new and my mom's apartment is clean and well-maintained. They've gotten my mom to be enthusiastic about quite a few of the activities, which was a pleasant surprise for me.

Both of my husband's grandmothers lived there, both started in the assisted living portion then one moved to the third floor memory care. The staff there treated them like they were family and they were always treated with upmost respect. There were lots of activities through out the day and everyone was encouraged to participate. Most of my time was spent visiting the memory care unit and it was always clean and inviting. The staff working there are the kindest most gentle group of people. Both of the grandmas passed away very recently, on the same day. The staff was very supportive and lots of help getting everything organized. You could tell they were truly sad to lose these great ladies. They are putting together a memorial service there for all of the people who were their friends and who helped care for them to get the closure they need. This place is top notch.

It started out not so good but has gotten a lot better. We really like them because when we first came in they weren't staffed, but they have changed that. There are a couple of health aides who have helped my mom a lot and have been extremely good to her. They have made the transition very easy and we are really pleased. For the holidays they had a few things going on, but on a daily basis, sometimes there are more activities than others. They have the typical Bingo and cards.

As soon as I contacted A Place for Mom, I received several options for places in our area, then received contact information from each of the places. Everyone was extremely helpful and gave me alot of information, either by phone or on-line. From this, I was able to narrow the list down and found a great fit for my mother. We will be moving her in within the week to Waterford Manor. We found a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere with an endless number of activities at an affordable price. I hope she will be very happy there!

The Reserve is located in a quiet residential area. The staff is very helpful and friendly. When I came here the first time, I felt at home. The residents are all welcoming. There are many activities which I can participate in as I choose. Meals are only served on weekday evenings and I am only charged for the meals I sign up for. Overall, the facility is very light, clean and well managed.

This place is the top notch of assisted living! we cant find a bad thing about this facility. best benefit is they allow pets! the price is high but for what you get, its all good. we have to see the other spots and will get back together with our mom this weekend. its so tough to make a decision FOR your parent... but we will do it. Just please know this facility is the top of the top, Amanda was amazing, and everything about this place is #1

As far as I know, it's good. My parent's aren't complaining. It's a little bit different for them and it's taken some time to get used to - my mom is used to being in a house. Everything seems to be going very well for them. Everybody there is very nice and helpful. The people that live there are wonderful. The whole family has made friends with the people there. It's a good place. My parents like the grounds and the waterfall and the ice cream shop - they do date nights there.

clean and welcoming. no smells throughout complex. staff were welcoming and friendly. residents were out and about for the duration of visit and welcoming as well. space was good. activities were in abundance location was perfect. had what both my dad and mom would need now and in the future

This is the place for Mom.

If I was the one looking and 20 years older, I would choose the Waterford. All options are here.

Very Nice, Top of the line,cost may be a problem for my step Dad though. Everyone was very friendly and it has a good location.

Mom and stepdad both went for a visit yesterday. Top of list so far. They thought the facility and staff were wonderful and they love the location. Probably tops the list for them.

WOW! Patient and family centered care! This facility is beautiful. This is the place for her! Gorgeous apartments. Great space. The bathroom is huge, custom installation of all safety rails to her size. Laundry facilities in her room. This was the only facility that had this option. She will have her own balcony. I can see her getting fresh air during the months when she can have her door open. Wayfinding. The facility was easy to navigate. MD house calls. Beauty salon... Med management. This is worth every penny to me for peace of mind. Activities off site. The dining options. Chef's on site, all fresh food. This is so wonderful. The dining experience, or "going out". It's perfect. The people, everyone was so helpful.

The apartment our loved one has is suitable for her needs it has everything she could want, and in comparison to other communities the price is pretty good. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Waterford Estates community to other families.

We chose Heathers Manor because after touring a few places you get a gut feeling when you meet people and see the facility. When we walked in Heathers Manor it just felt right. Both of my daughters were with me and they felt the same way too. The staff are very friendly and you feel at home. They really make an effort to get to know you. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

I thought they were amazing. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very accommodating. The place was extremely clean. The rooms were nice, and the furniture was comfortable. The food was lacking - it tasted kind of like it came out of a can, with a school lunch type of feel. Other than that, I absolutely would recommend them. The grounds are beautiful as well, and the location is very convenient.

I chose this community because it was recommended that my mother needed memory care. The care was very giving, but we were asked to hire overnight caregivers because she would get up night,which was an additional cost for us. The people were great, the care was great, and it was a very small community . The activities were good and as a family member I was able to visit everyday whenever I wanted to. The communication was easy. I was able to access the director whenever I needed to.
