Traditions Management

We're hoping they can take care of her but she really wasn't in there long until they decided to move her to get things straightened out and now she's headed back over there. We didn't chose it for any specific reason but we knew they would be able to give her the care she needs because she can't be in independent living, but it seems to be excellent, we'll see!

The community could be cleaner. They are trying but they could do a lot better. Some of the problems we are having are with our loved ones aides that come in to their room. The cleanliness of their room and the community. The food and the menu they have. You never see an administrator around and the person that sold us on the community never checked on us again. Our loved one is basically left to sit in their room. The activities could use some work, they basically have bingo and they go out for a dinner a couple of times. I was promised more hands on care and I feel like I am not getting it.

Activities were great and the activities team was awesome. Especially fun was Manicure ?? Monday at 10 am and Happy Hour during the week at 4 pm. Food was pretty good but there were not enough servers so food orders and such were slow during peak hours. Dining room was beautiful and open all day. Mom also was served sodas whenever she wanted one. Building was clean always! Apt was sized perfectly. The only complaint and why we left was the nursing staff and consistency of care. Medicines were often not given on time and sometimes not at all. We left the building for medical reasons and a nursing home with better nursing staff ?? and consistent, more attentive, and kind support.

.The facility is very nice and so is the staff. I would recommend. Of course we have some issues. But it would be all by individual.

They could get more skilled workers there because we had to hire someone on top of their staff because they couldn't handle my father. Then we ended up moving Dad to [community name removed], to the memory care unit, which was awesome

Beautiful facility. Closeness of nurses station to her room. Communication. Follow through what they say they will do.

They aren't great with medications as far as being speedy about getting new meds, getting refills, having the PRN meds on hand, having med passers that know what they are doing etc. They could have a little more seasoning/flavors on the meals.

My kids had to quickly agree to pay for month of Dec in order to save the room and get the deal even though he couldn't move until January but he did end up moving in Dec 30. The fountain drinks in dining hall haven't worked yet and we were told that is a perk for clients but I've had to bring him soda because he looks forward to that each day. They finally supposed to have it fixed today but I don't know it if it was or not and I've been asking them for two weeks. The laundry isn't always timely. The staff are always very nice and I can ask questions. Sometimes seems like they're on cell phones sitting around too. He says food is good I am pleased with dining meals. [name removed] the maintenance guy has been wonderful for helping us. There is a smell that lingers in the halls but I think that's probably a common thing . Housekeeping has been great. He hasn't had his bed changed at all not sure schedule for that but his second sheet set is sitting in his room. The management have all been willing to listen and are polite and nice to talk with about issues.

Her apartment is spacious and offers good storage. Laundry is available nearby. The food is acceptable, though not her preference. We have a private caregiver part of the day, as staffing can be tight. Assistance and response times can be challenging, and she is at risk of falling when trying to do things independently. Activity participation is limited, partly due to therapy scheduling and personal interest, though she enjoys her therapy services. Common areas are clean and well maintained. Daytime nursing staff have been kind. There have been some concerns expressed about night staff communication, though this may be influenced by her medical condition. Pharmacy and in-home services have met expectations so far.

Beautiful facility but corporate is too focused on the money. Lots of turnover across the board.

Services are not worth the money

She was put in a room far away from the staff when she first got there . It was not a good experience. When they first observed her before being admitted they should have put her in memory care. Now that she is in memory care she is getting much better care. The girls there in the daytime are fantastic.

I/mother likes most that they provide cleaning and laundry. Staff is very nice and there's alot of activities. Also as much as there is to to do, she likes her privacy so no pressure to participate is nice too. What she would like more of is a variety of meals.

Staffing of nurses and aides are very lean, medications are not always given on time and response time to emergency buttons is slow. Whether this is due to employee skill level/training or administrative policies I do not know. The staff does try the best they can but are torn between many different responsibilities.

So far the staff is very friendly and helpful. The Admin staff is excellent ([names removed] at the front desk)The ladies on the MC floor are really good. I haven't learned their names yet. I ate lunch there in the main dining room and it was delicious. I'm hoping that my opinions stay high as time goes on.

They are understaffed. However, we stay bc mom is bonded with the staff there. And- they are bossy enough to tell my stubborn & depressed stricken mother... you're coming to lunch to eat. You love music- you're coming to music trivia. They get her out of her head- which is good. The facility building overall is wonderful. It does NOT smell like a nursing home. I wish they had on- site therapy room. I wish their billing was more accurate. Staff know how to pacify others when they are upset.

Very homey and very friendly staff. Many of the residents are very friendly as well. They could increase the variety of activities. And following the level of care plan more consistently would be wonderful

The dining room is open from 7am-6pm;The activities are a very popular thing for the residents; they have their own physical therapy facilities

What we like the most about Traditions of Beaumont is that it is clean and the administrative staff were good. However, what they could improve on would be to have better communication and better training for CNA's.

Room not cleaned for 2 weeks, night care depended on who was on duty, Admin Staff some really helpful, others ignored notes, food usually cold, price increased by over [fee removed]on 5th day after moving in. Moved my sister out 42 days after moving her in-had to wait on new facility paperwork. Activities might be higher didn't wait to find out. Staff not aware she was moving. She spent 3 hours in the hallway while we put room together. No one to welcome us or answer questions so asked people as they walked by. She ate her dinner in the hallway. That's just part of the moving in problems. Not enough room for everything.
