The Oaks of Clearwater is great!

We had an opportunity to meet [name removed]. The staff and [name removed] made my loved ones and myself feel like family and welcomed us immediately into the community during the tour. The community recently set up a group text message to keep us updated when necessary. The kitchen is in the middle of being remodeled, and there has been a limited menu options available. The quality of the food is great. The community has numerous activities for the residents to participate in. They also have family rooms for the residents to utilize and still have a quiet space but a way to interact with other residents as well.

They are first class. I couldn't have picked a better place. Any issues the staff have helped me out. I can't say enough about these people. They were the third place I checked. This was the third times a charm and this was the case for me and my loved ones. My Mom joined the women's activities as well as the exercise classes. I love seeing her so involved in the activities as she was not before. I see a spark in her I haven't seen in a long time here. They provide a lot of activities. They have a setup like a gym with free weights, trainer that will come help them exercise safely. They have a lot of outdoor areas so the residents can get out in the sun. There is no lack of things they can do. They have community get togethers. Poker games, movie nights, etc. You get what you pay for.

From the time we arrived complete with red carpet and singing through our first 90 days my husband and I couldn’t be happier that we chose Truewood. We have lived at two other assisted living communities and we just didn’t feel welcomed at either. This staff from leadership to housekeeping makes us feel special and cared for. Thank you [names removed] for helping us make the move to our new “home”.

we toured Lake Morton Plaza and thought it was nice. the people were really nice there, this was our second option. we chose another community because of the cost difference between the two.

Good community too big of layout for my loved one.

Residents thrive well when treated by staff with great respect, honor, and dignity which are values we elderly appreciate and deserve. As a result, caring about each and every staff member and one another is a successful recipe for quality of life in our golden years. Thank you for your kindness. You are beyond appreciated for our community and quality of care.

Service and food are great, staff is wonderful. I would a highly recommend this community.

My aunt was in a very bad ALF they didn't want her there because she can be difficult so they ask me to move her to a facility with more care, using the reason that she needs more care then they care provide. She is now walk better, moving better, and socializing. This place is great.

I plan to have my own kids put me here. I really like the community. There are options for the residents to cook their own food in their apartment or eat in the restaurant on site. There is nothing they need to improve on, at this point.

Our tour with Spring Haven was wonderful. The facility was very nice but it ended up being too expensive for what we were looking for.

I actually really enjoyed doing our tour virtually since I am so used to zoom calls and things like that. It was great and the lady who showed us around was very nice. The facility is a little bit older. This was our second choice.

We fell in love with Truewood by Merrill when we came for a tour. The staff really do feel like family here. They are so accommodating and easy to work with, they are truly the best. I have never seen my aunt participate in so many activities, she is always right in the middle and loving it. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

[name removed] was very knowledgeable with all the Community options as well as the memory care. This Senior Living Option had the best accommodation option with a large 600 sq ft 1 bedroom with 2 large closets. Features we were looking for is off sit trips to shopping and meal service with maid service. Nice facility recreation areas too.
