I wanted to be in an vibrant area with restaurants ,sports, cultural events, and be safe-as I no longer drive. My brother lives 3 block from the Princes Martha.The Princess Martha has exceeded my expectations.

I came to the Princess Martha to surprise my grandmother. Haven’t been here in months and it was dinner time so we ended up having dinner with her and it was delicious. Absolutely one of her favorite meals was cooked. She loves baked salmon. I enjoyed it also the delicious cobbler was awesome. Staff very pleasant

I liked Spring Haven a lot when I toured it. [name removed] was very helpful and friendly. I moved out n and the staff is so nice. They all treat you like family. It stays very clean and the food is good. I’m so glad I moved here.

Truewood by Merrill, Bradenton was a great place, however it was just not the right place for my stepdad. What we did really like about the community was how spacious the rooms were as well as the staff, they were very responsive.

Took a tour of The Princess Martha and wow what a great community. I loved all the history and the decor was amazing. My mom lives in a mobile home park and she wants a different change and we are beginning the search. I think she will love it here and will bring her back to see for herself. We look forward to coming back with her and showing her around downtown St. Pete

The single deciding factor was the amount of natural light in the unit. The others were too dark. That is, the units in the other communities did not have as many windows or were positioned as to not let in a lot of sunlight. Friends have asked and I told them it changed my perception of these facilities. A lovely option for seniors who were living alone and without help in cleaning, cooking, meds, etc.

Truewood, Bradenton was a close second, but the room didn't have as much light. The tour guides were very engaging and supportive.

A fun atmosphere with active seniors who love having all the amenities The Princess Martha has to offer. 3 meals a day, housekeeping, heated rooftop pool a variety of activities, transportation services and a truly caring staff. All located in downtown St. Pete, FL.

[name removed] really guided us to this friendly living community with her knowledge and candor. The staff has been wonderful and caring to our relative in feeling at home and making sure that his physical and emotional needs are being cared for. There are so many options for staying active from indoor activities to walking paths, swimming pool with deck, and lakeside dock. We are so grateful that we decided on Spring Haven Senior Living.

The place is stays very clean every time I’m there. The grounds are very well kept staff is very friendly and always greets you with a smile. Residence stay active and the food is wonderful. I’m ready to live there!

I toured this community and the staff is friendly and everyone speaks to you. The new owners have made wonderful improvements to the community and are still working. We had lunch and the food was delicious. The building is super clean. The staff are very caring as well. Looking forward to my mom living there.

This facility is the most warm and welcoming place you will ever step foot in. Even before you walk in the grounds are always neat and tidy. The second you walk through the door you are greeted with warm smiles and wonderful people. The staff are all so kind and generous and spend their time to try to understand the residents and meet their needs and always go above and beyond. The food is 5 star restaurant quality and super tasty!! The views from the rooms are always so beautiful and always well kept by the maintenance staff. All in all I think it’s a great community for your loved ones!

My mother is a current resident at Spring Haven. She absolutely loves living there! Every time I visit, everyone knows my mom by name. The grounds on the outside look amazing since they have renovated. Maintenance is very quick at responding to work orders. I don't have any complaints. She loves it there!!

Mom is happy with food, Friday parties, everybody being friendly etc. Lots of activities! She feels right at home. No surprises, place is exactly what we were shown. Rummicube, Dominoes, various card games, bingo, and tons more. Everyday is packed full.

I took a tour of The Princess Martha and was invited by the marketing director to stay for lunch after my tour. No other place offered lunch. Wendy was a breath of fresh air she wasn’t pushy or rushing to get rid of me. You could tell that she was very proud of The Princess Martha and loves her residents. She introduced me to a lot of the residents as well as employees including the Executive Director [name removed] whom I believe [name removed] said has worked for the company over 18 years. How often do you hear that? Everyone I met was smiling and happy to be there! I had lunch with some fantastic individuals. The sever was wonderful as well. I was amazed when my lunch was brought to me. It looked great and tasted even better. Everything was hot and tasted delicious. The Chef even came out to say hello After enjoying my lunch I met with Wendy and signed paperwork for my new home. Thank you Princess Martha Staff Members and residents for being one of a kind! I am proud to be part of this community.

Our family had an in person tour with Spring Haven and it was a nice tour experience but we did not like the multiple floor levels, and they were currently remodeling. Everything was kind of dated, but they are working on that

The Plaza was recently purchased by another company and there have been menu changes. For the 1st several weeks meals were served in Styrofoam containers. Apparently there was enough of an uproar they are again using glass products for meals. The weekend breakfast menu only has scrambled eggs as an egg option. No fried or over easy which we are not happy with. The cleaning staff does a great job in the individual apartments as well as the common areas. The maintenance crew goes above and beyond. The Plaza is centrally located and is 2 blocks from the bus stop. The transportation policy is a longer distance for Dr Appts and such than most other locations offer. The Lakeland VA as well as Watsons Clinics and Lakeland Hospital are all within 10 miles of the facility. Overall, we are very happy with this location.

There is a bug roaches infestation in the building but particular on my sister's floor. I go over to spray every Sunday and based on the cost I pay for her to be there this should not happen. The food is really subpar. They serve cold food that should be hot more than two times a week. The other days the meat is over cooked or partially raw. They run out if stuff on a frequent basis. The wait staff is amazing but they have a labor issue. The head chef might need to seek other employment at a bar. On most days when I have seen him he either appears to be slightly high or intoxicated or both. His appearance always looks as if he has not had a bath and have not had a shave in many months. He just does not appear to be up to part for this type of place. That does not mean he is not a good person just that it appears that he does not care and it is reflected in the food that is served. They have a lot of activities. Based on the cost i would expect the things i listed to be at a minimum. Every place will have some problems but the Food should not be one and the bug infestation Should not be one. We have moved to another unit because of water intrusion from the windows and walls from the outside. This also came with a termites infestation. The second unit we encountered the same problem. Water coming in through the windows and termites. This is all within a three month period of moving in. If I knew these issues existed I would not have moved my sister in there. I pay [fee removed] a month and moved her from well maintained house with no bug problems and no water issues flooding her floors when it rains. We are between a rock and a hard place because of available places. However, I am looking to move her from The Princes Martha Place. This could be great place but they need to make some changes and quickly. Just for the record my challenges there are shared by a fair amount of the residents that I hear talking over dinner or on the property.

I like living at Spring Haven. I have made several close friends. The activities and social hours are nice! My apartment is cleaned every week. They have therapy services if you need them. They have been doing a lot of really nice renovations to the place.

The entire staff is always willing to help. 1. Excellent front desk staff (friendly and helpful) 2. Excellent dining staff (friendly, always smiling, and willing to assist you with meal selections. They are very patient!! 3. Management and staff willing to help you with your needs.
