It's okay place but just be careful on what you sign is that I'm a single person and it's hard for me to do what I did but I it's a good place to be for anyone that wants to be there the staff is okay I highly recommend that you check it out and think for yourself what you want to do in reality the location it's the best place you could go so I highly recommend that you check it out and think for what you want to do with your loved one

Thrive At Augusta is a beautiful community and the rooms are beautiful as well. Some of the staff members were wonderful and some were not. The food they served was very salty and really small portions.

I would not recommend to anyone. The food is also terrible and the staff is bad as well. All the food seemed like it came from a can and was over heated. The management staff were not good with the exception of a couple of them. The care giving staff were also very hard to find. I left after a month and a half and would not go back. The activities were terrible as well. The activities director wasn't able to follow through with the activities she planned. It was also grossly overpriced for the service. They didn't seem attentive with the residents, especially with those who were less mobile. The community itself, the grounds and the building and the amenities were all fantastic.

From the outside Savannah Commons looks amazing! From the inside it is just like every other elderly care institution. Their number one priority is making money. The last priority is the health and well being of the residents. The nursing staff is a constant revolving door. You're lucky to see a nurse last more than 90 days. They say you get 3 cooked meals a day/ 7 days a week. Not true!! We were also told menus were created based off of patients health restrictions. Also not true!! I'm ashamed to say that I moved my mother to this facility. Please look very carefully passed the silver lining of Savannah Commons. This is a place where "nursing home horror stories" are absolutely true and real.

We moved my dad to Rockbridge Oaks Memory Care in [date removed]believing he’d be safe and treated with dignity. Instead, it was heartbreaking. We repeatedly raised concerns about his care, hygiene, toileting, medication, hydration, supervision, and safety. Dad was left in unsanitary conditions, and his needs went unmet. We worked with staff and facility/corporate leadership, giving Rockbridge Oaks chances to improve. The same concerns continued. Our family spent more time worrying, documenting, and fighting for Dad’s care than being with him. Interactions were often hostile. We were sold a caring “family,” but that was not our experience. We made the heartbreaking decision to move Dad because we could no longer trust he was receiving the care he deserved. My dad has dementia. He is vulnerable and depends on others. No family should have to fight this hard for a loved one’s care, dignity, and safety. Look beyond the tour and ask hard questions. Dad deserved better. This is unacceptable.

Improve on staff (Memory Care) respecting and being more attentive to residents needs, food variation, cleaning rooms, having medications readily available, some outings. Likes ~ Nothing really comes to mind for Memory Care

The turnover rate at this facility is absolutely crazy! I would not recommend them to anyone until they get their staffing issues addressed. Below is a list of just a few of the issues we had in memory care (valeo)… • My mom went weeks without a shower. They used dry shampoo to cover her greasy hair. Management would not give me a copy of her shower records because "they are internal records and we only keep them for 30 days." • My mom spent many days in bed until noon or later. Some days they would bring her breakfast and some days they wouldn't. Then she would wander her room awake all night. • Not once did she ever receive assistance getting ready for bed or brushing her teeth. • The main activity in memory care is watching tv. There is an activity calendar but many activities don't happen. • Medication records are incorrect. Medication given for pain "as needed" is rarely given. Staff does not take cues when a resident is in pain. Don't be fooled by the pretty building!

It was such a disappointment. So understaffed. Like everyone quit just as we were moving in. Just not enough staff and the food was totally unacceptable. Just a bad experience. It was all promised but not delivered

It has taken me 2 months to get control of my anger regarding Thrives management or the lack there of of their memory care unit known as Hopeland! Multiple meetings, texts and phone calls to try and give them the benefit of the doubt and work out their kinks as they were new.... well, no luck..... they have no business running a memory care unit! The food and portions were pitiful and after meeting with “The so called Chef” to double my fathers portions were disregarded and my requests were not met was only one of the many disappointments of our stay here. I gave them a year to fix issues and finally moved my dad out of there. My father went two weeks with no shower, no undergarment changing or any of the other residents.... it is one giant FAKE dog and pony show over there and all about appearing on social media as THE PROMISED LAND..... DO NOT BE FOOLED! Do your homework and put a camera in your loved ones room if Thrive is your only option for memory care!

It was one of the worst experiences I have experienced. The staff was useless, they were inefficient, unconcerned, they cared about everything else but the residents. I wrote a note that they needed a new executive. I got a letter later that they have hired a new executive. It was also expensive. The food there was terrible, I never finished my plate in the 2 months I was there. Everything we were served was either frozen or canned.
