The staff is so lovely! We always see the same pleasant faces. The building is CLEAN - and its smells clean. The dining room is cheery and the food is varied and cooked well (albeit maybe not exactly like...
Welcome to Thrive and a fresh perspective on senior living. Over a decade ago we took a hard look at traditional senior living. We quickly knew we would not want to visit most of these places, let alone live there; so, we created communities where Elders would not only love to live, but...

The building is fairly new, so it is very open, airy and bright-even the hallways! My sister's apartment includes a living room, bedroom and kitchenette, so it does not seem like she is in an "institution"....

Thrive on Skidaway is a small and connected community and the residents and the staff have been lovely. The food is also the best we have had at any assisted living center.

The food is horrible and our loved one never went to the activities so we have no idea. It is not worth the money. Hall floor carpet was filthy outside building was dirty. Hall smelled of urine all the time

The med tech staff for the most part are responsive, and show care and empathy. The non med staff turns over to much. They cannot perform basic tasks like doing simple laundry. The food is terrible. High starch, low protein, small portions, etc. they do not respond to feedback about the poor quality of meals and serve the same thing over and over

They have an amazing place that is beautiful, warm and inviting. The staff that does the day to day is very friendly. The residents are really sweet. They have an incredible outdoor space and do tried to make fun things happen throughout the summer. However, this is a new facility and with any brand new place there are some bumps but overall we are happy. I do wish they had more activities for the residents. I also wish they had their shuttle service available to take residents who can't drive to and from appointments. Since this is a brand new space, getting permits for things has been a bit of a delay and hassle. But they promised us it is coming soon! The food is not what it should be as of today. They have limited menus, quality is below average and very expensive for what you get which is a little disappointing. Hoping it gets better now that the place is getting fuller with more residents. Overall, though my loved one is thriving, and their quality of life is 110% better being surrounded by people their own age and being able to enjoy indoor and outdoor spaces in a safe environment. I def recommend Thrive at Montvale.

This community was for peole that are up and moving and getting around. It was not for an older crowd and it was very modern, seemed to be more like a 55 and up.

They appeared to really take care of and care for their residents. They are good with staying in touch with residents providers about their care.

Before entering my loved one into this community there were a lot of promises of taking care of my parent that has not been fulfilled. Communication skills is their weakest point. The next weakest point is knowledge on how to take care or deal with demented seniors. Traning is needed.

The memory care nurses aren't wonderful. Some are very good. Others don't speak English and are mean. It's awful. Especially if you don't have any family member or an advocate. Memory care is adequate The activities for memory care were better until the last activities director retired. She said she'd stay until the found a replacement. And they just said no thank you and said leave now. They're all about the bottom line. Nickel and dime everything.

Most of the comments are regarding the staff. They could be more alert and attentive to the patients. The RNs and LPNs plus train medtechs do a great job covering several budings. Food is good but not hot. Rooms are kept clean. Most of all the Aide staff could use a good refresher training.

Thrive At Augusta is a beautiful community and the rooms are beautiful as well. Some of the staff members were wonderful and some were not. The food they served was very salty and really small portions.

My mom moved into Thrive in October. When we arrived, her room wasn't ready for her (blind was broken, stains on carpet), her call button pendent wasn't given to her and no one escorted is to her room or gave her a tour of the facility. (She was from out of state so hadn't set foot in there yet). There was a schedule of meals, showers, etc. Thrive had an opportunity to warmly welcome my mom and make her feel comfortable. They did not do so.

I would not recommend to anyone. The food is also terrible and the staff is bad as well. All the food seemed like it came from a can and was over heated. The management staff were not good with the exception of a couple of them. The care giving staff were also very hard to find. I left after a month and a half and would not go back. The activities were terrible as well. The activities director wasn't able to follow through with the activities she planned. It was also grossly overpriced for the service. They didn't seem attentive with the residents, especially with those who were less mobile. The community itself, the grounds and the building and the amenities were all fantastic.

From the outside Savannah Commons looks amazing! From the inside it is just like every other elderly care institution. Their number one priority is making money. The last priority is the health and well being of the residents. The nursing staff is a constant revolving door. You're lucky to see a nurse last more than 90 days. They say you get 3 cooked meals a day/ 7 days a week. Not true!! We were also told menus were created based off of patients health restrictions. Also not true!! I'm ashamed to say that I moved my mother to this facility. Please look very carefully passed the silver lining of Savannah Commons. This is a place where "nursing home horror stories" are absolutely true and real.

It was such a disappointment. So understaffed. Like everyone quit just as we were moving in. Just not enough staff and the food was totally unacceptable. Just a bad experience. It was all promised but not delivered

It has taken me 2 months to get control of my anger regarding Thrives management or the lack there of of their memory care unit known as Hopeland! Multiple meetings, texts and phone calls to try and give them the benefit of the doubt and work out their kinks as they were new.... well, no luck..... they have no business running a memory care unit! The food and portions were pitiful and after meeting with “The so called Chef” to double my fathers portions were disregarded and my requests were not met was only one of the many disappointments of our stay here. I gave them a year to fix issues and finally moved my dad out of there. My father went two weeks with no shower, no undergarment changing or any of the other residents.... it is one giant FAKE dog and pony show over there and all about appearing on social media as THE PROMISED LAND..... DO NOT BE FOOLED! Do your homework and put a camera in your loved ones room if Thrive is your only option for memory care!

Thrive at Jones Valley in Huntsville, Alabama. My mother was a resident at this facility. She arrived at Thrive with a diagnosis of dementia. Thrive talks the talk of knowledge about people with dementia but did not perform the appropriate help needed in dealing with their behaviors. I could never recommend this facility to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring and loving place for their loved one. The facility has a pretty look on the outside but rooms are not clean and my mother was not bathed appropriately as well. Terrible care!

It was one of the worst experiences I have experienced. The staff was useless, they were inefficient, unconcerned, they cared about everything else but the residents. I wrote a note that they needed a new executive. I got a letter later that they have hired a new executive. It was also expensive. The food there was terrible, I never finished my plate in the 2 months I was there. Everything we were served was either frozen or canned.

Mom was there for over a year in Memory side. When things became difficult for her due to dementia, they shipped to a psyche ward to get meds adjusted. Dementia care requires people trained to handle dementia behavior. They have none, despite the marketing and recruitment promises. Hourly care givers can be good or bad, but management did not care enough to do what was right. Found another place that is 10 times better.
