Our family's experience

My parents are very happy with the facility with the exception of the food. TruWood is unique in that they have several small dining rooms per floor, but the food is made in a central kitchen. Therefore the food is prepared and held in warmers for transport, then sometimes reheated for serving making the meat often overcooked. With that being said, the facility is wonderful, quaint and family feel. The staff is delightful. There are many activities scheduled throughout the week to participate in. They even invite family members for special dinners. If you are looking for a smaller, family feeling type of facility rather than larger institutional, TruWood is your answer.

Great. Caring place, financially too

Staff was great. Facilities good. My biggest "concern " was when you walk into memory care, it's the residents tv room. It's awkward at first but you get used to it. The entertainment they bring on was a big hit!!!

A place like home away from home.

I frequently stop by Grand Villa to bring my son by to visit all of his grandparents. It's a buzzing place for social activities from the outings , to the trunk a treat events , including the celebrations of each continent. I would highly recommend grand villa if your looking for on demand care and a place were the staff really gets invested in your loved one , like [name removed].

My Forever Home

I have lived at Grand Villa of Boynton Beach for a few years now, and I am very happy with the community. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. I love playing bingo and socializing with my friends. I also love that the community encourages us to be involved. I just helped launch our country store and I will be working in the store as well. I feel my life has meaning and I feel appreciated!

Amazing Staff

[name removed] has been absolutely a lifesaver for me. The staff has been so accommodating and so friendly and easy to reach. My dad hasn't been the easiest to deal with but they have been so supportive. The nurse [name removed] and the facility manager [name removed] are amazing. I have had no negative experiences there at all and am grateful that it is a small and comfortable community that feels like family.

Brookdale is a nice-sized care facility with the feel of a home. Nicely decorated for the season. The staff were friendly, and engaged in the care of the residents. [name removed] gave me the tour after spending a good amount of time and interest learning about the person I was seeking a place for. Her level of care and knowledge is high. I felt comfortable being there, seeing the care given to the residents.

A caring and reassuring first day

Today was my mother's first day in memory care and the staff made the transition as gentle as possible. Everyone was kind, patient and encouraging. The environment is bright, clean, and welcoming which put us at ease. We saw residents engaged in activities led with positive energy. Our first impression is that it is a compassionate and well-run community.

Review for Grand Villa of Boynton Beach

I can say [name removed] is so happy to be in such a nice place, and has adapted to living there very well. She heard horror stories about assisted living facilities and was concerned about a radical change in her life. The property speaks for itself , having more of a feeling of hotel lifestyle. The lobby is very inviting with a cute coffee bar; the dining room overlooks the pool and the rooms and common areas are newly remodeled. They have varied menus and receive 3 good meals a day. What's most important is the accommodating staff that are always pleasant and make the residents comfortable and seem happy being there. I am so fortunate to have found Grand Villa for [name removed] !
