My parents have only been residents for a week, but so far, all preliminary dealings (sales, leasing, nurse evaluation, etc.) have been so positive. Personnel have gone out of their way to be pleasant and accommodating....above and beyond what they needed to.

They keep everything up really nice there. It’s a great place. The food is very good and that the staff is totally excellent. They help you with anything you need and they have the doctors that come right to the place – which is a big plus. They will also take the residents anywhere within ten miles too – so like if you need to get prescriptions or anything.

They were really nice and very helpful. It was kind of big, like a country club or resort. There were lots of things to do, but it was over the top for him. It was really nice too. They were a really good price. The staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It just wasn't a good personality match.

Liked the setting - lots of grass and trees. Felt more like what my mom was used to and less of an institution. Just looked up the state survey site and there's no 'enforceable actions', which isn't true for other sites.

Big rooms, some with screened in porch. Facility is well decorated and bright. Staff is very friendly. Some nights there's live music after supper. Dad's 1st week went extremely well.

We were very impressed with Amethyst Gardens. There was a great vibe of friendliness and caring. Beautiful outdoor spaces and spacious indoor feel also. Very open and airy.

More enhanced assisted living Most of the patients have Parkinson’s or have had strokes. Tehre is also a secure ward. The activities are aimed at their population and they are good. My loved one likes the food and is very happy.

It’s independent living more than assisted living. The appearance is great and definately a five. As for the apartments, there is weekly cleaning service and that’s probably a four. The food is good one day and not so much another day. They have a new chef and he’s trying. The activities are totally a five. There are lots of them and they do a good job.

It’s both independent and assisted living. My loved one and I go there for church services on Sunday morning. It’s very clean and very nice. I would assume it’s as good as the activities in Royal and Cypress

I only toured this community. It was an overall five from what we could see when we toured. It was very nice. The reason we didn’t select this community for our loved one was because of the cost.

It’s a five! It’s a great place to go. They offer lots of activities. It’s a great community. Everyone seems to be happy and very friendly. We’ve had a chance to try the food a couple of times and it was excellent. It’s working out great for us!

Beautiful, expensive, happy residents, EW after two years of private pay.

The Commons is a very beautiful facility and is well maintained. Dinner served personally on white table linen and the servers are very willing to go above and beyond to fulfill residence requests. They offer many daily activities such as games, exercise, ice cream social, happy hour, music programs, etc. We liked that they offer a full range of services to be able to adjust to the growing needs of the resident. The cost seems to be line with other facilities, but is expensive when coming from living on your own.

I truly have nothing but good things to say about Amethyst Arbors. They were great! The staff were all wonderful! They were in constant contact with me, and called me everyday to let me know how my loved one was doing! Great experience!

The amethyst is a wonderful facility the grounds are clean and inviting my family member is very satisfied moving there amazing considering how big a change it is going to an assisted living setting

A Place for Mom took a lot of pressure off of our family. We were trying to do the research on our own while dealing with a sick parent at the same time. They set up appointments with 3 Senior Living Facilities with openings in our area. All meeting our needs, but, with different strengths & price points. We Chose the Commons on Marice in Eagan. We probably would have chosen it anyway, because, my niece works there & told up how wonderful it is, but, we still need to se others to make the comparison. And it is wonderful!

There is really nothing I can think of as far as improvements. I think my loved one is very happy there so far. When choosing communities, I really just liked the staff and everyone I met that worked there. Overall, I would rate them as a 5.

Mom Collette and I were here on monday feb. 24. Mom liked this place very much. It is $500 more than Emeritus. A little up scale i thought.

This is a very nice place. Everyone there is friendly and will soon know your name. I have not had a single problem with the care my Mom is getting there and would absolutely recommend Cypress. It is on the expensive side, but, again the cost is worth it if you can trust your loved one there.

mom liked it. I need to speak with them in more detail regarding the flexibility of her options. She would not need three meals a day. What would cost be for two meals a day and someone to assist with showering three times a week.
