I see nothing wrong at all, she is moving in tomorrow, so we've been dealing with them for a few weeks. We are in the application process now for Medicaid, but they advised us that if we're going with Medicaid to book the first month privately. Sometimes Medicaid will require you to share a room, but if you're already moved in to a single room, they never ask you to share. She has a studio, and it's perfect sized. I haven't had the food, but the menu looks good! It's big, they've got two facilities for assisted living, one for dementia and then regular apartments.

My mother is absolutely thrilled with Amethyst Gardens. The staff has been extremely friendly and helpful and she loves the new friends she made as well as the full schedule of activities.

The staff and caregivers at Emerald Springs have gone way beyond our expectations in assisting in Mom's care. They are loving and gentle with her as they assist us in this unfortunate premature journey. Mom's comment is that she wishes she had moved in sooner so she could have enjoyed the residents, staff and caregivers for a longer period of time.

My mom insisted she would never move into a Senior Living Facility. She said she was going to stay in her home forever. It took two years to demonstrate to her the benefits of moving into a place where she has a built in community of like minded people, all meals provided, lots of activities and a safe living space. Our family looked for several years and as soon as we saw Amethyst Arbors we knew we had found a home for mom. She has been there for 4 months and absolutely loves it. We couldn't ask for a better home for her. When I call her or visit, she tells me all she has done in the day. Wow! She is so social, which is in stark contrast to her lonely days spent in her former home of 25 years. I am so much happier because I know she is in a safe and caring environment. But most importantly, she is truly happy. She deserve that.

My friend Martha was in need of an assisted living facility. We were looking in the NW Phoenix area and toured approximately a dozen different facilities over the period of a few weeks. Amethyst Gardens came out on top over everything else we looked at when all of the parameters were considered. Cost, value, amenities, customer service, location, size, age and overall property condition, etc. My 88 year old father came with us on our last visit and was so impressed by the facility and what it offered he is excited to move there as well! My friend Martha moved in on the 1st of this month and is very pleased with her choice.

Very nice. It was a little out of our way and inconvenient to get to.

Beautiful building, plenty of activities.

This may be the best option for my father if he were to go alone due the higher level of care.

Still first choice. Dad is starting to give things away so while he says he's not moving yet, I believe he's thinking about it.

Amethyst Gardens was the best fit out of all three. We really liked all it had to offer for him who is independent and her whom will need a little assistance and help with meds .

Amethyst Gardens was perfect for what we will need. The Director was really nice and informative, she gave us a great tour and we discussed all the options, financial and otherwise. They are altcs approved and will work with our Caseworker at Plaza to arrange.

Excellent facility--spacious apartments, high quality construction, beautiful setting, many varied programs. Mom could receive nursing care in 1 br apt with dad. Nice library, full menu available in dining room. 2 br and studio currently avail. Bluestone physicians.

Beware of increased costs without advanced notice: This is perhaps beyond staff control, but we brought her with the understanding that her rent would be about $[removed]/month (including meds) and it keeps going up, and there is no change in her basic care and last month the rent went up to $[removed]- outrageous.

Good community with warm staff.

I have nothing but praise for Emerald Springs. Staff is so friendly and kind. My mom has dementia and is in a wheel chair. She is also a fall risk. They watch over her and take excellent care of her. Thank you

When I toured this community I wasn't thrilled with the young woman who did the tour. She was a double negative person. But it is a lovely place and the presentation on the food was great and the dining room is so elegant. It would have been a short walk to dining room. You have to stay below a certain scale or it was immediately way more expensive. Just didn't think it was a good fit for dad.
