The Cottages Senior Living

The cottages have become our second family. The whole team is beyond expectations.

This is a well organized, clean, friendly and supportive facility. We moved my uncle here when it was no longer safe for him to live independently. There are plenty of activities to keep him active, engaged and safe within the facility. The Cottages at Clear Lake is specifically focused on caring for those with memory issues. We visit often at many different times of the day and have always found every staff member regardless of who they are helping, to be patient, kind and supportive. Additionally, my uncle’s room, his clothes and he personally, are always clean. The food and snacks which are cooked on site are tasty and nutritious. We have also used their large, separate family room to celebrate his birthday with him. The Cottages has a broad variety of activities including: exercise, music, games, crafts, visiting musicians and therapy pets. One of the other many good things they do which really helps keep the folks hydrated is serve water throughout the day with meals, snacks and any meds. They also administer any meds so they are taken properly and at the correct time. We have peace of mind that he is safe, cared for and well supported.

Since moving my Mother from Orchard Park to The Cottages....she has improved immensely. She loves the food. She is more engaged with the activities that go on all day. The staff is superb.

Our mother was a resident at The Cottages at Quail Creek for approximately five months prior to her death. She was suffering from Alzheimer's. The staff loved and cared for her with tremendous compassion. They regularly hugged and kissed her and when she was having a good day they would sing and dance with her. When she died, they were comforters and supporters to my family. Some of them even came on their day off to be with us.

Placing my Dad in a care facility was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. We tried caring for him in our home. I knew when he was trying to leave at all hours of the day and night that I was not going to be successful with home care. I found The Cottages at Quail Creek and I can say that after 8 months this was the best decision I could have made. Their entire staff have been the answer we were looking for. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing a locked community for their loved ones.

This place is terrific! The caregivers and staff, the doctors and nurses, the layout and decor, every part is equally wonderful. First of all, it is beautiful, and feels totally different than the typical memory care when you walk in and when you stay here. It is bright, cheery, and full of life, instead of lonely and depressing. I have been to 30 facilities ranging from memory care, to independent living and none compare to this! Secondly, the staff from the top down is wonderful. The longer your loved one is there, the more you realize this. They are sweet, skillful and available! My mother has gone through ups and downs with her dementia to the point of being psychotic and even aggressive when they help her shower or use the bathroom or come out of her room for lunch or to take her medicine. Every caregiver or nurse that is dealing with my mom has been super patient and caring during any episode that my mom has had. They calm her and very skillfully figure out a creative way to help my mother. Time and time again! This isn't only every staff member, it is the management, and marketing team. EVERYONE!!! I have gotten to know them and they care for my mom like I do. And by the way we have cameras in her room, so we watch all the time, so this is speaking from someone who is actually observing this constantly. I can't thank them enough for caring enough about my Mom and understanding enough about the disease to know that this isn't my mom when she acts this way and not giving up on her but continuing to be there for her in a very trying time in her life. My Mom deserves that, and I thank god that they are giving that to her and that I found this place! Thank You Cottages! I love every one of you!

We are very pleased with the care my 89-year-old mother receives at The Cottages. The staff is kind, compassionate and respectful of the residents. They also provide reassurance to family members. The facility is well-appointed, sunny and organized. I highly recommend The Cottages and am very grateful for the care and concern the staff and leadership provide the person I love most in this world.

Our family is very pleased with The Cottages. My 89 year-old mother is treated with kindness, respect and compassion by every staff member. The staff clearly cares deeply for the residents and also for the family members. They take time to listen to us and provide reassurance. I highly recommend The Cottages and am grateful to the leadership and staff for taking care of the person I love most in this world!

It was a very difficult decision to put our loved one in a care facility, but when we could no longer take care of her at home, we had no choice. Thankfully, the staff at the Cottages were so wonderful that our fears and concerns were quickly taken away. They have a great team of caregivers, always patient and loving to the residents and family. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a “home like” setting for their loved ones with Alzheimer’s.

He was only there three months before his passing but I found the cottages to be very responsive to the needs of my husband, very upbeat. The North cottage was very clean and home-like. It was delighted to have a small group for dining. The nurses and aides were attuned to his needs. My concerns and fears were addressed and put to rest at this facility. I was able to have a restful night knowing he was getting excellent care.

A great place where they care about the residents. The staff is very friendly and seem to have been working there for a long time.

My mother has lived at The Cottages for almost 8 years. We have been very pleased with the love and care she has received from those who take care of her daily needs, as well as the administrative staff. Everyone is always supportive and helpful goes the extra mile. I would highly recommend this community.

Warm and friendly staff work hard to keep residents and family happy! Mom has been living at The Cottages for six years and I never have to worry about her care.

Wonderful facility. My husband has been here 3 months. The staff is loving, respectful, courteous and very qualified. He seems happy, content and is participating in activities. He has dementia and was very hard to find a place that I was comfortable to leave him. I am so happy we found the Cottages.

The staff and all employees do a very good job taking care of my mom. It is also a clean and tidy place.
