Independent living only. Facility is very nice. Met some residents many older than Dad. Everything included except phone. Must do own laundry but service available (anywhere from 14 to 17/hr. Transportation provided for any reason. No cooking in rooms. Three meals a day and snacks out all the time. Thorough cleaning of room once a week. Tours, music and entertainment provided. Movie room, library, games etc. 1 BR carpet or hardwood with balcony. Standup shower...bar handle on wall for toilet. Pull cords for emergency. $3002.00...deposit 3002.00 2 BR $4025.00 (very nice)...deposit 4025.00 Approx 10 miles from house.

Kaye Slinger Albin was accommodating and knowledgeable about Lighthouse Pointe and what senior living necessitates. Lighthouse Pointe is lovely and gracious, providing every amenitity. The employees we met appeared happy in their work and attentive to the residents.

Wonderful place. Have visited it twice to see a neighbor of mine who lives there.

Rivers edge was ok"we loved the cottages and that's would be what we want..cost is a bit high but doable..

Residents seemed very happy. Managers were friendly and informative. Very nice.

I went to Deepwood Estates, I like what I seen so far.

Owners were wonderful!! Very personable and extremely helpful! Will probably start there first when we look again!

Very nice facility, location is questionable.

Mom really likes the facilities and options. This will still allow her to be independent but give her the social opportunities she would enjoy.

mom and dad really like this one for the main reason of live in managers that are there 24hrs. a day. We like that they don't have happy hour every Friday like Southlake does (wine) because of mom and dad's past addictions. my husband and I also liked the 24hr a day managers that will answer calls whenever a resident needs them.

This was a great place. Exactly what we are looking for. It was clean, the rooms are spacious, the residents look active, and it has all the pertinent amenities. And the price is within range. I learned the difference between assisted living and independent living. My father is more independent.

This community is great and my loved one has been receiving good care. Everyone has been very concerned and supportive with my loved one. This community has given me a lot of comfort for relief knowing that my loved one is being cared for. She lived with me for a long time and it was a lot of care and now they are here to help me and take that away.

I toured Laurel Grove and really liked it, it's almost as good as where I live now. I chose another community because I had the opportunity to meet with several staff members and residents; and the people there really made a difference.

It is a very nice and beautiful place. It's not a typical nursing home. The staff are friendly. I am hopeful that there will be activities in the future. The food seems to have gone down hill recently according to some residents.

The light, the big open windows, the gardens and walking path we saw on our tour just really stood out to us. Everything was very well decorated and clean, and there are so many open areas that are very inviting

I would tell others that The Blake is fantastic. My loved one loves it here. The challenges are the response time from the staff to questions or concerns I may have about my loved one. I expected more feedback on how my loved one is doing overall.

My loved one spent a limited time here due to her health issues. But I would certainly recommend them to someone who's well enough for the type of services that they provide. The staff seemed to be receptive to the needs of their residents. And the apartments were very nice. I liked the set-up and the fact that she had her own patio.
