They are doing a very good job, and I have no concerns. The elevator situation can be a little difficult at times, especially meal times. I think the programs they have, and the tours and those kinds of things, the activities, are done exceptionally well.

My parents were there for a short period of time. However, I stayed there for several weeks while my dad was in the hospital. The people were good. I found them very responsive and accomodating, for instance, to my father's needs when he got sick. The facility itself is dated; it's an older building. Air conditioning was kind of noisy. The location is very nice; it's near the water. My parents chose it because it is near where they lived. It wasn't what I was expecting. It's assisted living, but it had more of a nursing home feel to it. Many of the residents were fairly old; Three quarters were in walkers. My parents were in their 80s but still active, and they felt out of place. Financially it was affordable. The food was good. Location was convenient.

My mother has been living at The Fairmont for years now. The new management team is really amazing. Christopher and Kellie Shearer have brought a real since of excitment to the community. Things were kinda boring for my mom. The new managers realized this and switched the activity director which is now Lisa Bryant she loves the residents. Lisa's mom is actually one of the residents so she really cares. She takesthe residents on fun trips and fun activities. My mom is never in her apartment and has made many new friends since Lisa has become involved. Ron and Sherri Koopman are the other managers, Sherri is soo nice and Ron is realyy funny and loves to tell jokes and host the events. I highly reccomend but there is usually a waiting list for apartments so I would call for availability.

Lighthouse Pointe has been great for Mom and her boyfriend. We moved them in 2 weeks ago, and no complaints yet. All of the staff is super friendly, and know the names of all the residents. This is a senior apartment community, but includes all meals in the community dining room and light housekeeping. They have thought of everything - lots of activities, a shuttle bus for shopping/banking/doctor appointments, a designated room for church services, library, internet café. The food is great, and lots of options. This falls between a regular apartment and assisted living. The cost is pretty steep, but is also between what an upscale apartment and assisted living places run in our area. The residents that I have talked to all like it - but of course, some people will always complain about something!

I have nothing negative to say about this facility everyone was very helpful and attentive. Facility was clean and I received the attention I needed.

Larry and his wife Judy are just wonderful. They are one set of managers that live on the property. That one assest is why we loved this facility. It is located on a beautiful wooded area in Lexington. The apartments are well designed for adequate space and they provide linen services that other facilities do not. They have a lot of options for dining whether it is breakfast or dinner. Each apartment has at least 3 pull cords for the safety of the resident. The alert goes directly to the manager's pager so the resident will have help there immediately. Overall, my mother in law, my husband, and myself preferred this facility over all the others we visited.

Nice facility, great staff. Larry and his wife, Judy, are the managers of this facility and do an amazing job taking care of the residents. This facility is number one on our list of where we would feel comfortable having Mom live there.

I was impressed with Lighthouse Pointe the moment I walked in the front door. And my Mother and her 'boyfriend' are,too - so they will be moving in in a few weeks. I've taken them twice to visit and see the entertainment and have dinner. The food is great! Staff & residents are friendly. We are all excited about this new chapter in Mom's life. It's not cheap, but the cost and amenities are both between a regular apartment versus assisted living.

We toured this community when we were looking for care options for our loved one. When we were looking in the Rocky Mount area this was one of our top two picks. It is a very nice looking facility, and the grounds are gorgeous. It looked like they had a lot of nice amenities to offer the residents, and the rooms were large and spacious. This place was also very affordable for what they offer!

They do a very good job. The community is clean, and the staff is friendly. The food is pretty good. There is not really anything so far, that needs to be improved or done better that I could see. I chose this particular community because I liked the location.

My loved one seems to be doing well here. The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to help the residents and make sure they are comfortable. I've heard some complaints about the food, so that is something they could work on. I also think they could do a better job with the cleaning, I've noticed issues both in common areas as well as the private rooms.

The employees are very nice and the community seems very clean. They have a lot of activities and the care services work well for us. La Donna is very helpful. I’ve tried the food and it was very good.

I’d give the staff a ten if I could. Our loved one doesn’t use any extra care yet. Our loved one isn’t fully involved yet, but there are plenty of activities. It’s a wonderful place and our loved one is happy at Whealdon Estates.

Since I moved my mother to Harbor Chase, her care has been excellent and I have not had one incident of injury or falling!

I think it’s a really good deal. It’s a very attractive facility, very open and I like the fact that they encourage partners or roommate type situation to help keep people active and motivated. It’s a really good experience.

It was very beautiful! It was just the absolute best. The friendliness of everyone from the receptionist to the cleaning ladies – everyone is lovely and had smiles. They know your name. The food is fine. It was just a very wonderful community.

The community is kept clean. They are extremely friendly. She gets very frustrated with the food though, the menu is extremely confusing, you can't order what you want, it can only be ordered a certain way. You have to order from one side or the other and what ever you order that is all you get. It would be nice if they had a little more flexibility with the menu. We chose it based on price, and location. The price is supposed to be inclusive of everything, and they sit you down and show you everything that it includes, and food is at the top of that list, maybe it shouldn't be at the top.

So far it’s so good. It’s definitely a good value for the money. We haven’t used the care services yet. The food hasn’t been great. We’re rate the food at a four. We haven’t had any trouble with the laundry service that I know of yet.

We really liked this place.it is close to everything we are familiar with.
