It's been close to a year since Mom passed so it's hard to say what the situation is now. The Oaks was brand new then and had some wonderful, caring folks working the memory unit. It was clean and shiny but it was brand new then. As for now...?

My husband and I love Haywood Estates so much we joked about retiring there! The downside is it's financially not a great option for people who aren't independent. They do contract out caregivers, but unfortunately that gets expensive for someone like my mom who needs a fair amount of help. So absolutely would recommend for anyone who is still independent or needs minimal care!

Ease of moving.in, welcoming and attentive staff, food could use more variety.. but I suppose that is difficult. Room size was good, amenities were good - walking path and group rooms downstairs.. we did not use those much. We did use the family private dining room a few times.

The whole process was very well done and executed. Very happy with the services available to me. My mother in law is very happy with her new living arrangements. She is very comfortable and we couldn’t be happier with Washington Commons.

The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating when I visited Silver Creek. It’s almost like Disney where someone always smiles and says hi when you walk around the building. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the baked goods and desserts. They taste very fresh. I couldn’t recommend visiting enough!

I would rate a 5 for each. We have been very happy with Smoky Springs and have zero complaints!! The staff is very helpful and accommodating. They are all friendly and willing to help whenever needed! The room size is good for 1-2 people. The food is delicious and they offer many different activities. They have a shuttle that will take residents where they need to go as well.

I’ve been very happy as a resident at Silver Creek. The staff have done a wonderful job looking after me and checking in to see how I’m doing. They’re cooperative with my needs and requests in a timely manner. I also like the different choices of activities available on a daily basis. I appreciate everything this assisted living facility has done to make me feel at home.

Awesome staff! Lots of activities ad the food is great! Resident has nothing negative to say about the Oaks and is very happy and excited to be in such a great environment.

I always want what’s best for my mom, which is why I chose Silver Creek. They have problems like any other business, but I wanted to point out how much better things have been since I moved mom in. Sheri is the memory care activities Director and has done an amazing job. She is personable and gets people going, a previous worry of mine that mom would end up staying in her room all day. That is no longer the case! [name removed] in housekeeping and goes above and beyond. She always makes sure my mom has her laundry done in a timely manner. She has always been sweet to me and my family. Silver Creek’s dining is fantastic as well. They do monthly themes and different cultures. I do wish there was more variety for breakfast. I don’t know if it’s only where my mom lives though.

Very clean, very friendly and very involved with everyone and everything. Two bed 1 bed and studios available to choose from. My mother was in a studio perfect size. Large for a studio. Large bathroom with stand alone shower with bench.

Beautiful space, nicely decorated. Very clean and safe. Lovely people, all were very caring and went above and beyond to make sure my father was happy. They looked out for his well being, and reached out to me when they had concerns. Location is convenient, lots of parking, good restaurants and businesses nearby.

Our father has adjusted well and the staff have all been very welcoming and friendly. Our father is happy and they take very good care of him. The communication with our family had been great. The need to adjust our fathers medications went very smoothly. So pleased with Sunrise.

I really enjoy myself since I’ve been here. It’s everything that they advertise. It could be and I’ve been very comfortable here and the food is good and all the convenience. and real good entertainment.

my mom has had a incredible experience so far loves it. Great resident making her feel welcome along with friendly staff and well cooked meals. placing my mother in a home was a big concern for me and Barkley house has made it very easy.

I’ve visited Silver Creek and while I think it’s a beautiful place to live, there are some things that need to be addressed. The menu items are okay but there should be less fried options for the daily menu. While there is an “always available” healthy section, the daily items should have more health conscious sides like steamed vegetables. As a side note: the desserts are delicious! Keep up the good work there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The residents seemed very happy and welcoming too! There is always something to improve on but it’s a nice place to consider for the future
