Moved in 3 years ago. The building is nice, but not to my liking. Beware, It’s a very “Toxic” environment. It may take a little time to locate the right apartment, but please be diligent, and it will pay off. Don’t bother moving to this place!!!

She was happy with the activities but this was not worth the cost and I would not recommend this place in a million years. It's not clean, trash in hallway and overflowing garbage in dumpsters all around the property, they have bed bugs in several units, staff is not friendly, she doesn't use care services and wouldn't use them if we had to.

PLEASE Don't be FOOLED by the Outside appearance of This Building" Elmhaven Manor" 600 W. Walton Blvd. Pontiac MI, 48340!! Management Spends Tons of Money "paid for by Tenants rent" on the Outside of the building parking lot and surrounding area plus Main Entrance lobby BRAND-NEW furniture but spend the ABOSOLUTE least for repairs inside Building and Tenants Apartments!!! And if you're Sensitive too the Smell of Lawn PESTICIDES PLEASE DON'T MOVE HERE!!! If I were Allowed more Space for SOOO many more COMPLAINTS I would!!!

The staff and the atmosphere were welcoming. The 1st floor was enticing. Nails & hairdresser in residence. Food services in-house with payment. I would tell a friend to do more research. Security is very important, and none is provided. These apartments are very pricey.

Lived there for 4 years. Has changed office staff 4 times. Maintenance staff is willing but nothing has been done to keep the building up. Paint peeling, water pipes burst, loses power. Their bus is being fixed more than it is running. The current manager is unresponsive to requests to speak with her or does nothing about complaints. Their motto seems to be if you can pay the rent, they will rent to you whether you are truly independent or not. They do not always meet whoever will be renting there. As a result, the police are called often. They have had a bed bug problem for over 2 years. The activity person has anger issues and has lashed out at residents, has road rage. Home office knows these issues and does nothing!

Been here a few months. They have been in my car three times. This week left the door and trunk unlocked. [name removed] the manager and [name removed] the maintenance guy are constantly in my apartment or at my door for no reason. The heating and cooling company came when I wasn't at home and left the doors open all day and I had to change my locks. There are pictures on the internet taken by various individuals as I walk across the parking lot even in my apartment. I told [name removed] about my problem and she tells me I need to be watched and in a nursing home. I can't even file a police report they say it's your word against there's all they are going to do is deny. I have things missing in my apartment and I am afraid to file a claim because of the neighborhood I live in. [name removed] the manager has antagonized harassed and embarrassed me with little help from Associated Management. They need to control their employee. This is not a nice place to live. It's like living in twilight zone!

I’ve lived here in Grandhaven 3215 almost 2 years. I discovered that I have been completely violated for these 2 years. The staff is going into apartments when no one is home and stealing, rearranging items, I’m pretty sure they have come in to the unit while I was asleep. They have terrorized my kittens to no end. They took my spare keys from the night stand by the head of my bed and have been in my car leaving it unlocked and or the hatch door wide open. I am frightened to death and can’t do anything about it. Don’t move in this place you don’t get help from any Managers.

Only the main building/entrance seems to be maintained. Other buildings/entrances lack the same maintenance and cleanliness, specifically building B. Once the sales team signed the lease, it was VERY difficult to get ahold of anyone for problems. I’ve noticed many of the reviews refer to “The Fountains.” Be aware there is a new management company with a seemingly different standard. We were making plans to move my family member out the same day we were moving in. She was only there for 2 weeks (in assisted living). Upon moving out, we noticed roaches. The staff seemed unsurprised when we mentioned it. The hall has new carpet and paint, but the conditions are still dirty.

we briefly saw the outside of Part at Franklin and this place really looked like a dump, we couldn't even tell if there was a lobby. the parking lot was small and unkept. the building looked like old apartments that they decided to turn into an senior living place. we initially scheduled a tour, but the outwardly appearance made us not go inside.

I just moved in December 2021 put a work order in 3days after move in I waited and waited put another work order in I’ve put in over 4x’s and also went down to the office and told 2 staff members what needed to be fixed still no maintenance is done!!!!! Then we have several tenants who keeps stealing my cable streaming using all of my accounts keeps changing my passwords and messing with the wires in the apartment complex and I have notified management and nothing is being done about these issues. There are some SCAMMERS/HACKERS that claim to be Investigators but if they really are why do “THEY STEAL” ????? It’s a whole lot of things going on in this apartment complex that needs to be addressed but no one will speak up hum I wonder why!!!!!

I would want others to know when looking into Park at Franklin that I do not think that the staff members here are trained to handle mental health residents, especially with Alzheimer's memory care. I would never recommend this community to anybody.

The leading agents did not keep our tour appointment. After waiting for ten minutes, we asked the security guard how much longer. The security guard went and checked the office and said that they had gone to lunch. Very poor first impression.

No one showed up. Latoya indicated that they are no longer affiliated with a place for Mom and that is best to call ahead before you come I rescheduled for Monday to view the property and I'll see what happens then also the application fee is $12.50.

Although the staff was very nice, I found the carpet dirty and residents unattended. When I toured the bathroom that residents are taken to a woman was alone and wedged behind the tub. I don't know how long she would have been there if I hadn't been on a tour. This is certainly not a place I would place my loved one.

The staff at this community were rude. The care was bad and they did not give my mom her medication on time which caused her to be taken to the hospital numerous time. Her room was never clean, sometimes they did not get her dressed and you had to wait for food.

The management female that works there was very arrogant and presents a very bad attitude

Our experience with The Fountains has not been a good one. The outside of the building is very beautifu,. and the people in the lobby are professional and very pleasant. However, the first day that he was there he needed to use the restroom, but there was not a help cord in his room and I could not find any one that worked there to assist. The first morning I went in to visit him, they did not brush is teeth, nor did they wash his face and hands. The community has a staffing shortage and they are not all properly trained, because of this the residents do not receive the one on one care that most need and require. They have caregivers who are not certified, therefore some of the levels of care that my spouse requires are not getting done properly. My loved one is able to do a few things himself, but does require some assistance to stand in order to complete these tasks. Residents are supposed to receive a shower two times a week, but my loved has been there a week and has not received a shower yet. I was told that in order for my loved one to receive the level of care that he needs, I would need to hire outside help and have them come in. The first few days of my loved one being there he was not eating. No one would cut up his food small enough for him to handle, nor did anyone help to feed him. The bathroom in my spouses room is very small, too small to get a wheel chair into it, if by chance you can get the wheel chair into the bathroom there is no room what so ever to wash up afterwards. One morning I went in to visit my spouse I found his dirty clothes from the night before just thrown on a chair and on the floor.

Really not much to do for the seniors for what we pay sometimes me and my mother would hear arguing coming from the office. plumbing is old and they had to shut the water off again the other day. water was gushing out of the ceiling. I don't know if the maintenance person even knew how to fix it the water was off for over 8 hours we also noticed mold in the furnace closet when someone was fixing are ac unit

There was a fence by the dumpster that was knocked down atleast 4 months ago, I talked to a tall maintenance guy said he was going to install a new one it still is not there and same guy was suppose to do something for my mother she has asked 4 times it never was done. For a maintenance person this guy is the laziest. My mother also had a work request for a crack ceiling for years and it wasnt fixed until a new maintenance person was hired 2 years ago.

My dad has been there in memory care and itbis a terrible experience. The staff yells at the patients, they take the in to watch tv after dinner to what vh1 or bet. Heavy rap music is being played. The marketing director lued about him being evaluated immediately, its been a terrible experince. I cant wait to get my dad out of here. There are seriouly better places out there for $4000 a month. They do nothing to help with memory care.
