I moved in 51/2 years ago.It was the best decision I made.The building is well maintained also the grounds.the staff is very helpful and friendly.I love the activities arts &crafts,coloring,parties,trips,all good,especially the arts and crafts.I have learned so much.They have the best person for arts &crafts.she is funny and talented.I would not want to live anywhere else.every day brings fun.

I toured the facility a month ago and was amazed how friendly the staff members and residents were. I was also impressed by the guest suite that elmhaven has in their facility that most senior communities don't offer. I would highly recommend this place to any senior looking for independent living. :-)

My mother in law has been searching for a place in the Waterford area. We happened upon this gem. OH MY! Our family is super excited about mom's choice to move here! She is now active both socially and emotionally. Her attitude about life has improved and she has made a few new friends. The staff has been more than helpful with resources and assistance.

This is a clean community and have taken it upon myself to clean my own unit. I also make my own meals and have enough counter space and the amenities needed to make a meal. Activities are available and it is very good.

The care has been great. My mother-in-law likes the meals that are prepared and served here. The staff are easy to communicate with and nice people. I would definitely recommend this community. I appreciate the help from A Place For Mom.

This is a lovely community, they really tried their best to care for my mother and her needs. My mother does need more care than they are able to provide. They have a great staff, they are very friendly and helpful. There are nice activities available for the residents. The community looks great, everything is very well-kept. They really with above and beyond for her. We really apprenticed everything they did for us.

It's turning out to be great. Everyone is very friendly, the office staff is very helpful. The other residents seem to be pretty happy, and a lot of them have been there for a long time, which says a lot.

After several telephone conversations Taylor Morgan, who was our tour guide, an application has been filled out and are on a waiting list. Very impressed with this facility, staff and residents. Residents were very friendly, out going. The facility was very clean, well kept both inside and the grounds were beautiful. Colorful accents, warm woods accents. Staff very welcoming. There happened to be a special luncheon taking place for the Volunteers the day we toured and the food smelled wonderful and very flavorful, it made me hungry. I saw my mother start to "blossom" and she is actually looking forward to moving. She's even choosing what furniture she will take from home and what she'll need to buy. We're hoping an apartment becomes available soon.

I have lived here for 14 years now, and I enjoy it as much as ever. The fun parties, breakfast and lunch outings, etc. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance jobs get done quickly and the place is always clean. I give welcome to your new home cards to the new people and always tell them I hope you will enjoy living here as much as I have. Thank you Grandhaven Manner for your good service, friendliness and for meeting basic needs like transportation to stores and bank runs.

I am fine with everything that is going on here at the Oakhaven Manor facility. But one improvement that I would like to see is possibly a bigger selection of food for the meals. Other than that I have no complaints.

It's been fine. The food is good, and everyone has been really nice. He is happy and exercising more. It was an easy decision for us. They offered the right level of independence and care at the same time, for us.

Oakhaven Manor has been a good experience. Everybody here has been wonderful. Compared to where we were the value is good. It is really the most wonderful place. I am really glad we got her in this facility.

Everything went fairly smoothly. I'd say there were just a couple of minor hiccups in terms of understanding the costs, there were some that were slightly off from what was communicated in the beginning. The storage is a little small too. But it seems like a great place; great community and friendly staff and everyone is willing to help out.

It's been great so far. We haven't had any problems. No complaints about maintenance or anything at all really. They were also one of the least expensive places we looked at. It's really working out well so far. I would give them a five.

I can tell you that we are very satisfied so far with Westhaven Manor. It is a nice facility. It is clean. The staff here are friendly. I have no complaints about this facility so far.

The Westhaven Manor is a very friendly community I have not meet any other community where everyone is so friendly the staffing is wonderful I have so many amenities available to and get to utilize them all which is a plus for me. Marty she was very helpful and she is the head of homestead.

My 94 yr old mom was there for 2 yrs. she loved it. Might be going back. Loved staff. They are kind, thoughtful and lots of patience. Head office individuals: excellent

Our experience with Grandhaven Manor has been a very good one overall! The young woman who gave us our tour was very helpful and knowledgeable, and had a ready answer for any questions we had! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and my loved one really seems to be enjoying himself here!

This place is has the most friendly people. They helped Mom make the tranisition from her condo to assisted living.

I can not think of any improvements. They have just been helpful through the whole thing. I mean everyone has been nothing but helpful, because this is all new to me and they just got me through everything.
