A Place for Mom has scored The Aspenwood Company with 8.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score based on 185 reviews in the last 2 years. Over all time, The Aspenwood Company has 678 reviews with an average "overall experience" of 4.2 out of 5.
They are very well organized and the staff are very responsive and super friendly. The facility is quite clean. They have a few different music groups that come to the community and play for the residents. They have exercise classes, bible studies, and they help residents who have particular interest find other residents who have the same interests. Only concern is with the dining, sometimes the residents have to wait awhile for their food and sometimes up to an hour

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked it a lot. Anthology is a beautiful community, and we really liked the layout of the rooms there we very updated. However it seemed a little to big for us at the time

We really like Anthology of Denton it is a beautiful and gorgeous facility. The staff really seem to try really hard with all of their activities and all the fun games for the families that come to visit. We believe it is covid related but they have not been able to keep staff as best as they normally would. Occasionally we have to help with laundry, but when we ask the director questions she is very upfront and honest with us.

My loved one is safe here at Anthology of Plano. However, I am still being an advocate for my loved one. The administrative team is less than responsive when it comes to answering questions or addressing concerns the family has. My loved one doesn't care for the food.

This is one of the best bets in Bentonville. This is the cleanest place. They make sure all residents are accounted for and taken care of each day. Some of the activities include shopping, movie theater, exercise classes, bingo, trivia, and more for the residents to choose from.

We liked Spring Creek Village. It was nice seeing the residents up and walking around, and it seemed like there was staff engaging with the residents in different activities. It just wasn’t in our price range. And then after visiting another facility, I didn’t think the staff at Spring Creek Village was as personable, and they didn't spend as much time with us to address our questions.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a really good first impression but the major reason I did not choose Village on the Park, was because they do not integrate their assisted living residents with the senior living residents.

Would not recommend for memory care. I saw a lot of places that are newer and in better physical shape. I feel like they could be more competitive with their pricing.

Really the only problem has been proper administering of medications, due to the fact that they're short-staffed. Since I've talked with the manager, there haven't been any other mistakes. The foods is good, and my loved one has made friends with the cook. She saves back cookies for him that work with his diet, and she and the other staff generally spoil him. The people there are wonderful, especially the caregivers. They treat their charges like their own family. The receptionist is beyond the best. My loved one really likes the staff a lot. There's another young man who assists the caregivers, and he's very nice, considerate, enthusiastic, and polite. The nurse practitioner comes up every week or so and checks on the residents' medical care. They all seem like really compassionate, caring people over there. The place is really clean, and the staff is dedicated to the residents. The residents themselves are really nice. The Village requires masks, which I think is good to help protect a vulnerable population. My loved one enjoys dominoes, bingo, and exercise classes. It's kind of pricy at The Village, but in-line if not a little less than other places I checked out.

Overall it's really pretty here, and I think they really do care for the residents. The only thing is there is a little bit of lack of communication between the staff and between the staff and the families. They're still limiting visits due to Covid, and you have to make an appointment for a 45 minute visit where they bring your loved one out to you.

We chose Spring Creek Village because of the convenient location and they offered us a desert and it was homemade and amazing so we figured the meals would be just as good. We also figured since it was a bigger company that they had more resources, especially with memory care. We did have a hiccup in the beginning, it was like no one was following through and they were not double checking about the medication with us and there were some communication issues, but that was corrected as soon as it was brought to their attention. Form what I can tell on their Facebook page they have a lot of activities provided for the residents. They are very good with communication and keeping us updated on what is going on on any changes that are taking place. My mom said they get 3 meals a day as well as snacks and they enjoy the food. Said said they are well taken of. I would recommend to others who are looking, I would just tell others to make sure to be your loved ones advocate to make sure that everything is being followed through and that communication is key.

the rooms and overall layout of the community would be a five out of five, and we would recommend it to others. While our loved one was there she had a few hospitalizations so she wasn't there all that long but overall it was a good option. One significant issue we had was they were supposed to check on her occasionally, and leading up to one of her hospitalizations she was feeling significantly down and no one noticed which was an issue.
