They are very family oriented. They offer music, exercise, and various types of activities. My father is very happy there. The staff responds really quickly. They have such a caring a caring environment.

Linda Christopher was extremely helpful in giving us lots of information about the process for identifying an appropriate facility for our parents. The facility was immaculate and obviously well organized. The location is the farthest away from our parents currently which has been a factor in our decision to not pursue at this time, but I would recommend it highly.

We toured this community when looking into care for my loved one. This community looked very nice, and the staff were very friendly, but it was one of the more expensive options we looked at. I would have liked to be able to place my loved one here, it looked like it would have been a good fit for her, but unfortunately it was not something that would have worked with her finances.

I tell my mother she lives at a resort. They do have activities available, but not too many that have really gotten my mother involved. It is very comfortable homey setting. The apartments are very livable and nice. The staff has responded well, my mother has fallen several times and I couldn't ask for better service from them. The only negative I would say is the way the dining is set up. It is included in what she pays, it is one set fee for everyone, but my mother doesn't use it all each month so that is like money down the drain. The main dining room is for breakfast and lunch, then the bistro is for soup and salads and sandwiches - it's good!

We are happy with the Terrace, she is really acclimating well. I know what's out there, I've seen a lot, and this is head and shoulders above the rest. They are very compassionate, very caring. They've got some nice talent coming in, and things to do. The food is a four, the bistro they just opened up is really nice and she really enjoys going there. The staff and residents have been so nice, they are attentive to the residents and the communication is good between the staff and residents. The facility itself is just beautiful.

This was a wonderful place and affordable, but unfortunately it is independent living and wouldn't be safe for my Mom in her stage in life.

Basically I looked at five properties when searching for a suitable assisted living facility for my sister. Out of the five, I like Colonial Oaks/Pearland the best. It just is open and bright, the staff seems quite helpful and friendly. I have a positive feel about the place. My sister hasn't actually moved in yet so I can't comment on that. I will say that the staff has been wonderful in working with me and my family just to get my sister moved there.

I like it very much, I moved her in September. It is just what I wanted. Everything is great. The facilities are nice and clean, there are plenty activities to do, and the food is acceptable. The location is great! They have a very nice pool. I can't think of any negatives to say about it. I had my mind up when I moved here that I would like it, and I do.

It started off a little difficult because he wasn't used to his surroundings and so we went from regular care into memory care instead because he was walking the hallways and couldn't settle down. Putting him into memory care put him into a much smaller environment and he's eating very well. With him being in memory care he understands when he's asked to do something and he does participate in the games they have and he's won some prizes. The staff is very, very friendly and English is his primary language but it's nice when some of the girls speak to him in Spanish. Through the process of elimination, the Pasadena location seemed to be the best and it was more centrally located. I even recommended it to a lady on my return flight from Washingotn, her mother is in Sugarland which is pretty expensive, and she was kinda thrilled that I knew a of a good place.

We've been real pleased with Colonial Oaks. It's very clean. The people there are very friendly and nice and professional. My uncle is getting very good treatment there. It couldn't have been a better pick.

My neighbor's mother is there. I was helping him look for a place and I just really liked everything about it when I had gone to visit. I was just there the other day visiting my friend's mother and she doesn't take advantage of all that's offered there. With all they have to offer there, it was my favorite and first pick. That's why I took my friend to see it. From what I've gathered I would have to say that I really like this place.

We aren't having any problems right now but when we initially moved in we were told new carpet would be put in-it wasnt-the kitchen and bathroom were dirty but we told them about it and they took care of it the next day. The cost is a little bit more than a few other places but the quality of the care they're receiving, the environment, the location, makes it worth it. They play bingo and exercise everyday, my father in law has been doing puzzles, they're very involved with everything. It's not home so there was quite a bit of homesickness in the beginning but they're really trying. My mother in law is basically wheelchair bound but it's basically given my father in law his life back because there are people there who can take care of her, it's been a relief for him.

My mother-in-law is there and it's going beautifully - just going so well! It's very clean and it's expensive but they're all expensive. I think they're a very caring staff. They're so accommodating and so nice. The administrator and the marketing director are just the nicest people. The seem to have her engaged and busy and they have adequate staff for the number of people that are there. I would recommend it.

What you get for what you pay is pretty good, were still trying to get settled and unpacked. We looked at about 5 others and we just liked the Terrace better. The way its situated, where its situated, the location. It's close to the hospital, close to shopping and the cleanliness, the friendlines, all together it was the best overall. It didn't take us long to deicde on the terrace and I don't have anything negative to say about it. We haven't participated in any activities yet but we've seen some that we're interested in and so far we're very happy.

We're going to be moving my mother in there tomorrow. We like the environment, the outdoor surroundings, the different things that they offer and the convenience of being close to me. The Terrace also was the only community that respected my wishes and let me call them when I wanted further follow up. Other communities bombarded me with phone calls, which literally gave me a headache.

This is a very nice facility. If we decide to locate her in an assisted living facility this would be my pick. Unfortunately, I won't be the decision maker but I'm going to get my husband to go tour it too. At least she would be close to friends and part of her family.

One reason I chose Lewisville Estates was for the price, it is well maintained, everything is up to date, it is clean and appealing. Also because of the food, I had a meal there and saw their menus and it was better than the other places I had been to. I had seen about 3 other properties. I visit my mom a lot and everybody there seems to be very happy. I have yet to find one resident with any complaints. they seem to really enjoy being there.

WE LIKED THE INDEPENDENT LIVING AND IF HE NEEDS ASSISTED LIVING HE COULD MOVE OVER THERE WHEN ONE OPENED UP,LOTS AND LOTS OF ACTIVITYS

I was impressed. Close to the shopping mall more important, close to needs such as supermarket,bank, ect. Seriously looking toward this one, the price is more in my range.

friendly staff. liked the outdoor area and community rooms. apartments were very nice.
