We meet with a wonderful lady named [Removed] at Brookdale Willowbrook. We had been shopping for a few days before we came to see this property. The size of the property was just perfect..not too small and not overwhelming. It is never easy for anyone to think they can no longer care for themselves and not driving a car is the hardest. My sister has had a good experience and everyone has been kind and very helpful. I would and will recommend Brookdale properties to anyone seeking a good healthy environment for their loved ones. From the very beginning, we were treated with great respect and consideration from my initial call to A Place For Mom - to our move in day .

I absolutely loved this place! They are very organized and have well planned out activities and events. They have an independent living building and an assisted living building next to it, which would make it possible for my mom to smoothly transition to a higher lever of care at the same place where the staff knows her and the food and activities are the same. Most of the staff have been there for years and that says a lot! They really seem to care about the residents and are committed to meeting their needs. They have many nice amenities including a movie theater!

We love this community for my dad he has a 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen setup, there is a laundromat that he can do his laundry. Then housekeeping will clean his room and change his sheets every Saturday. I like that he has to wear a life alert necklace. I know he is safe and meeting people and eating well. They give him a card with 300.00 on it for food a month. They have a shuttle you can sign up to go where he needs and once a month they will have an outing with all the residents to a restaurant. The staff is very nice and will bend over backwards to help. There are several courtyard areas and he is located right next to one. I have recommended this community.

My loved one really likes Brookdale Willowbrook, The community is clean and attractive, the food is excellent, and they have plenty of activities that I'm sure my loved one will participate in once she warms up more to the community. Overall, the place looks really nice, and I think it will be a fantastic experience for her.

I like the care here for my mom. The community is clean and has a good environment for care/ The menu is appealing and the variety is healthy meals. Activities have been offered for the residents that are able to participate. We would recommend this community for other families.

My mother came to Knollwood Pointe over a year ago and we are very pleased with her new "home" where it's about the people and really caring for one another. The facility is the right size for residents to each feel they get individual care and attention and the residents and staff have become more like a family to one another. My mother has special diet needs and they have been super to accommodate those needs. The dietitian has become one of mom's angels there who goes over and above to make my mom feel loved and special. When mom recently had some irritation to her gums and difficulty chewing, she immediately made sure her food was cut up or soft. And the dietitian cares for everyone with that degree of care. My mother is a great example of what they have done to accommodate not just her physical needs but her emotional and social ones as well. Sometimes those are the most important! And so many of the staff there do so much more than their job description; my mom genuinely feels loved there! My 93 year old mother is stronger, happier, more socially involved, and mentally stimulated than when she first came here a year ago. And my extended family all love and use the new GrandGrams to send my mother messages and pictures. My mother doesn't use a computer or smart phone and otherwise would miss those connections with her family. She loves getting her Grams delivered to her door and shows them to everybody! And I love that I can send my mother pictures and share what's going on when we travel. And I'm so thankful to be able to travel and have peace of mind that my mom is being loved, is active, and cared for while I'm gone. There is no other place in Mobile where I would want my mom!

The staff is professional and very kind. Food is great and activities are nice. Mama loves her apartment. It is a community that makes my mother feel like she’s at home. We love Knollwood Pointe.

We started living here on Feb 11. My health wasn’t the best, since we have been here, my weight has increased, I feel much better, and the staff is wonderful. Most important the facility is very clean.

I can't say enough nice things about Brookdale Willowbrook Park. It was a very difficult decision for us to make having to move our grandmother and we feel very fortunate to find Brookdale Willowbrook. The staff is friendly and helpful. They assigned an ambassador to my grandmother to help her get acclimated. I don't live really close so I needed reassurance that they would help her adjust. I have eaten there with my grandmother and she says the food is really good. They are on top of what they need and what is appropriate for their diets such as low sodium needs. They have activities that are suitable for all levels of abilities of the residents. We were able to furnish her apartment with her furniture, artwork, and family pictures. It is very warm, homey and inviting. They all have doors that open to common courtyard areas with different themes. My grandmothers is a fountain with shade. I would highly recommend this community to friends and family.

My father has been a resident at The Pointe at Kirby Gate since November 2016. His care has been so very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Administration is attentive to the needs of families and residents. His care could not be better.

My dad is settling in well here at Liberty Residence 1 he was a bit apprehensive at first but the staff has been great working with him and he is now making new friends and likes being here. There is a nice sitting area where he brings his friends and family when they come to visit, and he is comfortable in his room and has settled in nicely. The staff makes sure that they keep my dad informed on the activities as well as the field trips and they encourage him to join in which he has started doing now. Dad enjoys going to the dining area, in fact, he lets his friends there know what time he will be going so they can join him there. The menu options are good and so far dad likes what they serve. I have noticed that my dad is now walking more because he does go to the dining area and out to visit with his friends he has made there. I would definitely recommend Liberty Residence 1 and I also like the graduated levels of care they offer as my dad's care changes.

Hi [Removed], thank you for recommending Brookdale Willowbrook Park, it was all that you said it would be. The tour with [Removed] was great. She was very accommodating. My mother was pleased. It is definitely a place and location that could meet my mother's needs. We are not ready to make a decision to move her in her own place, in the city, as we have a few assessments to make at this time. I will keep you informed. Thank you, again!

[Removed] is the only reason for my 5 star rating!! She is always hardworking, knowledgeable, compassionate & caring. She goes above and beyond her duties of Marketing Director. She truly loves the residents and treats them as if they were her family. [Removed] is the backbone of this community and without her, this place would not function properly! Greenhaven Estates should do whatever it takes to make sure she NEVER leaves!

The first time we met [Removed], we knew this was the place to be. She has always been helpful, pleasant, caring and compassionate. For being such a young adult she is way ahead of many others. She knows all the residents names, and the family members. All of the events she plans are FIRST CLASS..She is a wonderful lady.

Today I came for a tour at Greenhaven Estates. I toured 3 other places today with my two sisters. I am planning ahead but I wanted to share what stood out to me the most. This community has a completely different atmosphere compared to the ones I went to. I automatically felt right at home. I met with [Removed] the marketing director. She was very pleasant, the nicest lady we possibly met all day. The difference from her and the other communities was this wasn't just a job. She actually loved what she does. She highlighted the entire community. When we walked past current residents she knew there name, they knew her. The residents would tell us where in good hands with her but one resident stood out the most. Her name was [Removed]y. She invited us into her apartment showed us her paintings and when we were leaving she said "stop by again your my new friend" when we were about to close the door she told [Removed] "I love you" and [Removed] gave her a hug and said it back. You can tell she meant it. As we were leaving she answered every question I had, my sisters loved her. I forgot to ask one question so I went back inside and to her office and then I noticed something that truely sold me, she has photos of herself with her residents in her office. This lady loves what she does! When I asked her why, she said I work here and see my residents more than I see my own family. There not just residents but they are my family also. Sold sold sold! This is the best community I have been to. I am in love with Greenhaven Estates. I'm planning my move soon and I'm excited to move to Greenhaven Estates!

We are happy with this community. Since my father in law has moved in he has become more active and is walking better. The director is involved in the daily activity of the community. The activities director is a great person and has a passion for what they are doing. They are great at getting all of the residents up and moving throughout the day. This is a smaller community all on one floor and it is very nice. The food is good and there is a good variety of choices. This is a good fit and I would recommend this community.
