We like it here. Maple Brook is a very open place with friendly residents. It has its issues, just like most places. I think that the management is somewhat detached from the residents. And they don't seem to listen to us very much or answer questions. Because keeping staffing levels up is so difficult everywhere right now, they're having to overlap duties, which takes them away from their primary duties. We have an excellent chef though, and a new sous chef. The servers and kitchen staff are all wonderful. The concierge staff is fantastic, with a couple of them that really stand out. I wish there were more outdoor areas and activities, as well as activities geared toward men. They do have an outdoor bocce ball court. But overall the residents are friendly, and the food is good. The one-bedroom apartment is 768 square feet, which is large compared to a lot of places, but it could have a better layout. I like that it has a balcony, and there's a storage unit off the balcony. You can also rent a garage if you'd like to.

We picked this community, because everyone seemed very engaged, the residents seemed happy. They were very friendly, and take really good care of the residents. They have done mostly everything okay. They could improve on getting another doctor.

Sage Park Transitional is private pay only, with no spend down to Medicaid funding. But it looked really nice. And the staff seemed very friendly.

Activities, always something going on, caring, pretty good communication, nice layout, definitely dedicated to Memory Caregiving. They are able and willing to take good care. Is willing to talk and explain any questions or concerns you might have.

The ability to take care of my Dad stuck out to us about this facility. I would recommend it to others. (Name removed) makes an effort to work with us regarding our concerns and I do feel that she is a good person who wants good things for my dad.

Our family had an in person tour and this was actually our second choice and it was our first tour out of many. It was very very nice experience and we thought the lady who led the tour was great. The price was about the same as our loved ones current community but they just did not have much of a back outdoor area and that was something we were looking for

The staff is good. The food is really good. They are attentive, and the wait staff in the dining area is really good.

I have been a resident at Dunwoody Pines Retirement Community for a little over 6 years now. It is an independent living community and I found a good fit for my needs for the price. Very satisfied.

The Gardens at Brook Ridge is right next to Brook Ridge. It was for people who are not active and needed more care than my loved one needed at this time.

I toured this facility and it was very nice. It's very clean, a newer and more modern facility. The staff was very friendly. It just wasn't a good fit for my loved one, too big for her to navigate. But very nice place and accomidations!

The Continental is a very nice, comfortable, safe, convenient place to live with a lot of friendly people. And it's well priced. The apartment is a little bit small for a one bedroom, but it's fine otherwise.

Sage Park has been a really great experience for our family, it really is a beautiful place and all of the staff members should get 10 stars regarding their friendliness. When we initially walked through the community on the tour we thought it was extremely clean. The staff continue to give us feedback regarding our loved one they truly have gone above and being. They genuinely care about the residents, they have been so kind and loving to our loved one and really have made him feel respected and appreciated which makes a huge difference. We do wish they would turn on the televisions in the main areas when sporting events are on so it gives the men and woman an option to watch the sporting events especially if they do not have televisions in their rooms. That is the only "negative" we have. We have not have experience with the meals and we cannot really rely on our loved one given their dementia, but sometimes he says the meals are really good and other times it is just so so, but we have to take that with a grain of salt. Based on our experience so far we would recommend Sage Park to other families.

The location of Windsor Heights would have worked out great for me. I was favorable impressed with the facility, I like the fact that it only focuses on memory care. I ended up touring another place that was further away and just felt that facility was going to be the best fit for my loved one.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This is a nice place and the value for the money is good. It is a new community that was open in the last 18 months, and the location is good. The staff communication with the family is good. The only hiccup we have had is with the maintenance team. There seems to sometimes be a drop in the line of communication with the team to get the items accomplished. It does get resolved after the second request typically.

We decided on Desert Rose over other places we looked because the rooms were larger, the food was better, and it is all around a beautiful facility. The kitchen was a big problem during our stay here. Sometimes the meals were wonderful and sometimes they were not . The portion sizes were small and it was not consistent. Overall I would recommend them to others looking, they have a lot going for them.

Juniper Glen came recommended to us and they focus solely on memory care. We were impressed with both of the people we had met with - but they have since then left. The only main issue we have had is when you go to visit you have to go to your loved ones rooms and their is no space to visit. I would tell others looking that they do not take Medicaid. All of the staff have been very helpful and we would definitely recommend them to others looking.

I would tell others looking that there is a good peace of mind because Fountain Valley hospital is a hop skip and jump away so if something were to happen to your loved ones, they can get there very quickly. Especially compared to where my dad was at before, I would recommend the facility to others.

My mother has only been there a month. So far I've been very satisfied.

I toured Quail Ridge and it didn't seem as new or renovated as other communities we saw. They had a wish-list of things they needed for activities posted up front. The other communities we saw seemed all inclusive and weren't asking families for help with supplies or activity related items. The staff seemed nice, but we chose another community because it just wasn't a good fit.
