Sunrise Senior Living

Brookdale for 9 years. During that the resident the staff took tremendous care of her. I never lost a night's sleep. They watched over her and informed me if she wasn't ok. Brookdale's staff was a second family.

A place for mom did a great job helping to connect us to Sunrise. We were struggling to find a good fit for dad’s needs and did not have much time. They helped us connect since I live far away. Sunrise is good fit and that was important. I am so relieved to have a happy comfortable community for dad. Everyone at Sunrise has helped make a smooth transition and make dad comfortable

5 for all, it's a well run facility. What makes it such a great experience is that when you walk in you have a fantastic receptionist who knows your name and greets you The place is just well organized it's very clean they take really great care of my mother that check on her so many times a day she's 92 and she gets such great meals there too I've eaten with her numerous times and have been always enjoyed the service they come to your table that's incredible but yeah I love it The management is very management is great so yeah I love the place and I'm so thankful I found it's only about 10 minutes away from my house too so that's really cool and plus it subsidized by Fairfax county so it's a little cheaper place for Mom to go and so anyway yeah thank you

It was a great experience because of questions 2-7 above; cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and administration, quality of care, meals/dining, activities, and value. Just as an update, [name removed] is no longer at Sunrise of Lafayette Hills.

My mom lived at this community for almost 6 years. She just ended up moving to another state to be near another relative so she was very sad to leave her friends and the amazing team at Sunrise of Frisco. We are so very grateful that we had chosen Sunrise as her home and highly recommend to anyone interested. The management team is always kind and caring and is sure to respond quickly and to take care of any concerns or needs that might come up. The care team and the medication techs are superb and such a happy team to be around. Everyone was so sad to see my Mom leave and gave lots of hugs goodbye.

I reached out for resources and everyone was so kind. They helped my family and I find the right solutions. I strongly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for care for their aging parent.

Recently toured Parkwood Estates to try and move my mom out of [removed]. Staff were very knowledgeable and the woman who gave the tour was fantastic! Building looks a little old on the outside, but the interior, the rooms, and accommodations were amazing! A lot has been recently renovated and updated! Will be moving Mom as soon as we are able!

I have spent almost 5 months at Brookdale due to the illness of my resident family member. Staff and other residents have made me welcome and comfortable and have been a tremendous support. I recommend Brookdale highly.

Everyone was always very nice. I forget the woman in charge but she came to my mother in law's wake along with another nurse. Our experience was wonderful although expensive. I would absolutely recommend Sunrise of Fleetwood to anybody looking!

Facility is super clean. Staff is always keeping family up to date on what's going on. Staff is very friendly when I go to visit. My family member is safe and happy being there.

I really liked the tone that was set by the Sunrise-on-Providence Assisted Living Coordinator [name removed] on day #1- resident-centric with lots of care given to attention to details and care of residents/family. What I experienced was staff with patience, following their plans but made time for my dad and us, his sons, upon request. Food was above average for sure; special holiday meals were a BIG deal and felt that way to all. I also enjoyed the diversity of the staff…members from various countries who both listened to and gave their own stories. Dad loved that! The facility was clean, medication team was superb and we could always reach management, as needed! Laundry service was very helpful and overall we felt this was the BEST local choice for our dad!

My dad really love it here. Plenty if activities for him to participate in. He gets to leave the facility for different outings (to target, flea markets, etc). He appreciate the staff showing a little extra attention so that he doesn't feel left out(no other black resident)

They took very good care of my aunt. The nursing staff were kind and courteous. I truly believe they care deeply about their residents.

Excellent care and staff! So caring to every detail and understanding of the entire family needs. Excellent food! The team was amazing helping us long distance with all the details and our final move.

I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to place their loved ones in a nurturing environment. The staff is very attentive. 2 there, residence. When you walk in, it is like coming home. The grounds are well maintained. And you can walk around with your family members and allow them to enjoy the scenery if they're not able to get out, like some people can. You walked in with a smile. It is warming to notice that most of the staff it's very familiar with the family members that come visit.
