A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sunrise at Five Forks Assisted Living for their compassionate care and kindness, which brought comfort and support to Mayme and her family during her time there. Her new friends at Sunrise brought joy and laughter that enriched her days and created beautiful memories. The deepest gratitude goes to the staff at Agape Hospice and the Golden Home sitters for providing dedicated assistance during her final days.

As soon as I walked into Sunrise, I knew this was where my mom needed to be. Every single person I spoke with on the journey made me feel comforted and lighter. On the day she moved in, the staff members that helped her settle in and get to know her treated her with the utmost respect. They asked her what HER choices were to get up in the morning, have her meals, shower preferences, bedtime preferences. She tells me how kind everyone is and she raves about the food! She told me that this was the happiest she’s been in a long time. I leave there after our visits with a lump in my throat, not one of despair or sadness; but one of joy and gratitude knowing that she’s in the best of hands.

The staff are the most caring and compassionate care givers that I've ever met. They met and exceeded our needs. Even before we moved my mom in, we felt the warmth and caring of the entire staff. As soon as my mom moved in, she immediately felt at home! Cannot stress enough how amazing the staff is. My mom does receive a level of care and assistance as she is wheelchair confined and has some memory issues. Despite this, she has never missed an activity or event and the staff was great at getting her acclimated.

Our mom has been at Sunrise in Wayne for the past 2 1/2 months. She has been settling in well with the help of the attentive aides and nurses that she has. It’s a very friendly and comfortable environment for her. We’re very happy with Sunrise Assisted Living.

I found the Sunrise Care group while researching Assisted Living facilities for my Aunt. I scheduled a tour of 3 facilities in the Wayne area and felt Sunrise would meet my Aunts needs the best. It has a cozy, calm, family feel. My Aunt did not initially become a resident, however, after various health and social concerns, we were able to secure a place for her within 24 hours. She is now secure and content in her one bedroom apartment for the last six months. After many visits at varying times I find the staff very attentive, friendly and competent. As my Aunt is 96 and is difficult at times, they are consistently caring and patient. I feel we made a very positive choice for her.

I’ve lived here for about 8 years. You can’t expect to have any place make food like mom made it, but here, what they give you is very worthwhile. First time in my life I am eating good healthy food. When we have our resident council meetings, they do the very best they can to accommodate us and our suggestions and concerns.

I just had a great tour of Parkwood Estates! What stood out the most was the warm and welcoming staff. They made a point to make us feel like part of the community, and to really feel like we were special. It was very clear that they know all the residents, but they also genuinely care and value the residents. Very impressed!

I had the pleasure of touring Parkwood Estates and was blown away by everything this community has to offer. I always expect to feel very down and depressed when I visit these communities, and I was very hesitant to visit with my mom, because she is such an upbeat and social person. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of energy, with residents clearly enjoying themselves! I highly recommend for anyone exploring independent living options.

My recent tour of Parkwood Estates was really impressive. The community has a true sense of comfort, independence and belonging. The living spaces feel like home, while the range of activities and amenities offers something for everyone. The staff was warm and attentive, and were very dedicated to the residents we met. It seems like a place where residents can thrive.

Pueblo Regent is the cleanest most modern ACLF that I have ever seen. A place for mom’s recommended three ACL F’s, and after visiting Pueblo, I canceled all the other appointments. We toured the facility on Monday Afternoon and moved in on Tuesday. Thank you, [name removed], you turned our journey into a joyful experience.

Parkwood Estates is great! I toured here recently with my father, and it seems like the perfect fit for him. The community is very accessible and easy to get around. The common areas are perfect for socializing and activities - and Parkwood has so many to choose from every day/week, that my dad will have no problem making friends and staying active.

I recently had the opportunity to tour Parkwood Estates, and I was thoroughly impressed. Most others I have visited have been very depressing, however, Parkwood has a very positive and cheerful atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, I could feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere from the team. The community is beautifully designed, and perfect for socialization! The staff was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable - it was clear they really care about the residents.

My father is adjusting nicely with the assistance and kindness of all staff members. They go out of their way to ensure he is comfortable and are very welcoming.

The staff is wonderful. They are all hardworking and amazingly caring individuals. They are the ones who make. This community what it is. They should be treated with respect and gratitude and caring.

I had 2 meetings with other people regarding personal issues. Both said that when they stepped into the lobby, they felt welcome - before interacting with any staff.
