Small and nice community. Convenient to where we live. Friendly staff. Clean and well Maintained. Limited menus choices

This is more for assisted living or skilled nursing. Clean, friendly people.

Very nice facility, staff seemed nice as well. I will be taking my parents back for a tour

I toured this community when looking for a place for my Mother-in-law. It’s a very nice facility, a bit newer, but it wasn’t all inclusive like I would’ve liked. The person that gave us the tour was very nice and was able to answer all of my questions. The rooms were a little different in their layout and had separate bedrooms instead of everything being in one room like a studio. We went with a different community but this one wasn’t that bad.

Really liked this home, just not the best location for daughter.

Nice place but very expensive. It is layed out very similar to [Removed] inside. The outside is smaller and noisier due to the school right next to it. The rooms are a little small. The prices are very expensive. Not sure if this is a good fit.

The staff team here is very responsive to our questions, they are well trained, the food is ok, the facility is clean, and most things are well. The facility itself is nice, a bit older, but they are in the process of doing renovations. It is taking longer than they and I would like, but they are doing their best to keep it current. It’s beautiful, well organized, and convenient for us. They also provide activities and they encourage the residents to participate.

I took a tour here when trying to find a new place to live. Overall, it was a nice facility but a little too small for my taste. The food was okay and there seemed to be a lot of options to choose from. We ultimately wound up not choosing them because they didn’t have any apartments that fit our needs.

When we first drove up to this community our first initial thought was that it was too big. It was because it is a tiered place with assisted living, memory care, etc. When we went to tour the facility and talked to the staff they were very friendly. The amenities that they provided seemed appropriate. What I didn’t like about the facility is that it is multilevel and the stairs are not covered. I talked to them and voiced my concern that someone could fall over, but they tried to assure me that they make sure that they get up safely. Realistically the stairs could not be monitored 24 hours a day. So I believe that the stairs should have some type of blockage.

This place feels like a nursing home the second you walk in. The staff was really nice and they had everything that my Mom would’ve needed activities wise (like arts and crafts), but it just didn’t feel like home. The person that took us on the tour was knowledgeable about the facility and the type of care that Mom would’ve needed, and they were able to answer all of our questions. Ultimately, we went with a different community.

Liked a lot but no plans to walk to eat

My dad had vascular dementia and they cared for him very well. It was neat and clean. The social worker was nice and kind. They would engage all the residents to join the daily activities, they went on bus trips.

This review is based on first impressions from a personal tour. This community has a unique layout more like senior housing than memory care. I met the head nurse and several staff members. I really liked Sunrise and would have considered this community more if they were closer to my home and had been able to administer his insulin medication. I didn't care for their a la cart pricing for services. I would highly recommend other families tour this community.

They looked very nice when I toured, but it kind of reminded me more of a hospital than an assisted living. Everyone that I interacted with was nice though. The interaction between the staff and the residents was nice. They’d greet each other and ask how their day was going. One of the reasons that I didn’t choose it though was because it was little more out of my price range. The rooms looked quite a bit smaller than another place that I had taken a look at but everything looked very clean.

Good Morning [Removed], My husband and I had a very nice visit to Sunrise @ North Hills. It is in a good location for us and would work nicely. The Staff was very friendly, receptionist, activity director and chef. [Removed] was informative and gave us a good tour. The apartment we were shown looked very nice. We took measurements. Unfortunately, most of the residents were leaving for an outing so we did not get to meet them. We will have to take my Dad for a visit and get his feedback also. I realize they have an available apartment now, but we are not ready to move quite that fast. Thank you for your help and we will keep you informed as to our decision. [Removed]

Facility was great, [Removed] was awesome, cost was way too high.

We found this to be a most attractive facility, and it goes to the head of the list of our possible future residences. The larger 1-bedroom apartment would seem to be just right for us. Their amenities may not be quite as extensive as those at some other places, but nothing that we need is missing, and the result is a significantly lower monthly rent. Also there is no large buy-in fee.

While my sister was at this facility, I think they did everything that they could to assist her. Unfortunately, she was in bad shape and didn’t stay here very long. I do think the night staff could have been more responsive when she rung her bell. There was an instance when she fell out of bed and the staff didn’t respond to her. When management found out, they did look into it. I would recommend this facility.

So far, we are entirely satisfied. My mom has a very difficult situation and she seems to have taken to it like a fish out of water. From my visits, the staff has provided around the clock contact and they have a very specific set of rules concerning the residents in my mother’s particular section. The staff has been quite attentive and the place is clean and nice. The washroom and the other residents’ room are kept pretty clean and I haven’t heard any complaints. The community has a few different activities and for the holidays, they hosted a Halloween get together. They’re even going to be hosting a Thanksgiving brunch for the residents and their families. Overall, things seem to be going well.
