Many of the staff interact with Mom on a personal level. In fact, they treat all of the residences with TLC. They truly care about Mom's well-being. Mom loves the food, loves the laundry service and the hair salon. Socially, Mom enjoys the van rides with [names removed]

Overall it was a wonderful place for my mom. Very homey and friendly. Facility is a little dated. My mom was in a wheelchair chair and it was hard for her to use the bathroom and kitchenette sink. They are currently working on updating. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Staff members are very helpful and caring. The way they interacted with the people in their care made me feel very comfortable having my mother there

5 for all the categories. I love it here. I asked God to help me find a safe place and He did. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend Sunrise of Columbia to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My mom has been there over a year and there have been many good experiences and a whole new social life for her. I appreciate the staff—administrators and care givers. There is a warmth to the place which I had not found in my searches. It’s an attractive and not overwhelming layout, with nice rooms and views. Fox PT has been great there. Absolutely worth looking at.

The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Even when there are short staffing situations, the quality of the service does not diminish. I have a one bedroom, one bath apartment which is just the tight size for me. I have a kitchen equipped with a full sized refrigerator, a dishwasher and a oven/range. Most of the apartments have been renovated and have stainless steel appliances. There are any number of activities such as yoga, lectures on various topics, performers of all kinds, outings to museums and malls, scrabble tournaments, etc. I really enjoy living here. The Inter-county Connector is only a block away and gives easy access to neighboring venues.

I think what most stands out about this facility is the friendliness and compassion of the staff. Also the cleanliness of the facility. (I live in South Carolina, so I did not deal with the staff at Bedford Court that much since I live so far away). However, when I was there, that is what I noticed most. My brother who lives close by to Bedford Court mentioned how helpful one of the staff people was when my mom had to go to the hospital suddenly. This same staff person showed much compassion and kindness after finding out she passed away a few hours after getting to the hospital.

We cannot comment on the meals and dining services as well as the activities, but I love the entire ambiance and down home feel.

5 all across the board! What we like the most about Sunrise is First is the staff! They're so attuned to the needs of the residents & treat them with such kindness & respect. Plus, there is a sufficient number to maintain a safe, caring environment. Especially b/c my mother is in the memory care unit, I am happy that her needs are always met and handled with dignity. Next, the facility itself is beautifully maintained. It's a very welcoming place from the front door & throughout the building. I should also mention that there are planned activities throughout the day, both in the assisted living & the memory care unit. I want to mention the food: it's exceptional! And residents have choices. At lunch & dinner the meals begin with soup or salad, a complete entre, and dessert. These are some of the reasons I give Sunrise at Five Forks an excellent recommendation

5 for all of them! They were super there! Staff were super helpful, professional and loving. Can't say enough. We chose this facility because of the sales people and the overall facility. It is a beautiful place.

Excellent care, nurses on site, PA comes monthly at least. Activity director is great!

I would rate all 5's. But my Dad was on a modified diet that wasn't thrilled with. Nothing related to them. We were very pleased with the facilities and staff. Yes absolutely would recommend them.... particularly on the memory care floor.

The staff is so very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure you'll have everything you need.! I can't recommend Sunrise of East Brunswick enough. I also can't recommend A Place for Mom enough!!!

It's a very socially active facility, lots going on for entertainment, learning, playing, chatting. The communal areas are full of residents hanging out, taking excursions, dining

What we like the most about Sunrise of Marlboro is that they are a very well run facility. Nice , helpful staff throughout. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

5 on all. My mom really likes it here. She likes the facility itself, the people who work here, [name removed] is wonderful as the administrator (so very helpful and sweet) she likes the other residents and the food. The only concern I have is her hygiene. She has a hard time cleaning herself after she stools and I wonder if she is getting her showers twice a week. I have showered her myself especially to wash her hair.

Sunrise was the best. All of the staff were amazing, friendly, caring, and helpful. Anyone of the staff would stop what they were doing to assist with anything my Mom needed. I felt Mom was safe and well cared for. Even though I visited several times a week. The nurse, PT,OT, or the speech therapist would call me to inform me of my mom's progress or changes in her health When she was not feeling well she was checked in on frequently. My mom received a wonderful care during her stay at Sunrise

I wouldn't accept a placement in the older (south) residence. It's shabby and needful for updating. Comments about the South residence: plenty of friendly, helpful staff, cheerful sunroom and outdoor spaces, smaller rooms, minimal community area, administrative staff is very difficult to communicate with because they are rarely there and return calls sporadically. After 3 months in the Westminster facility our friends care level necessitated Memory Care. At the time, Westminster had no Memory Care beds available.

My uncle has been a resident for over a year. He loves everything about sunrise. The employees are very attentive and always help residents as well as family members.
