Facility looks nice. Would prefer the deluxe studio. Plenty of activities. Loved that the tour guide new the paitience names as well as the staff members we encountered.

Grounds were appealing. Tour inspired confidence in facility mission to facilitate socializing.

Great facility! The people that work there genuinely care for the residents! Positive environment! Plenty of activities to do. They keep the rooms and common areas very tidy. They have special occasion dinners, in which you can join your family member. They also have a large room for parties that you can reserve for your loved one, that is free. The only issues I see are the meals for Assisted Living. I have heard a lot of complaints from my family member not liking the dinner food in the last year or so. The deserts are fantastic, though.

Very professional tour by [name removed]. Very nice place. Good layouts for apts - not all the same. Flexibility with meal plan. Lots of activities. This is one of two places we are considering.

Very welcoming community. I enjoyed the tour but the home is under construction so difficult to tell what it will be like when finished. Small group of people which makes for an intimate setting.

My parents, 96 and 93, love living there except for one thing- the food. When they first moved in last year it was good, but since then, it has gone steadily downhill, to the point where they no longer look forward to eating meals there. I don't know why Sunrise can't get it together and provide decent meals. Healthy food is the most important and basic component of a healthy lifestyle, especially for older people. Quite often, my parents will have my sister (who lives nearby) bring them food from a restaurant, or take them out to eat. This adds a lot of expense to an already expensive situation. I just want to let people know that this is a problem now at Huntcliff Summit, even though it wasn't before. We are very concerned and frustrated. I live far away and can only look on from a distance as my parents tell me that they get indigestion from almost every meal. They and many others have complained but the food situation is not improving at all.

I was impressed with this facility. Lovely setting, friendly people. The director was playing cards with a resident - teaching her a new game. It is likely we will need for my sister to "graduate" to full memory care and that part of the facility is separate and secured. Did not tour that part of Sunrise.

Not a bad place. If feels a little cramped, but nice people.

This community very nice, but is not for advanced dementia residents. [Name removed] was straight forward after hearing our situation. You should not recommend this community to anyone whose family member has advanced dementia. They are not set up for behavioral or advanced medical needs.

The staff was really friendly and the room they showed me was beautiful and bright. My concern here was the stairs - which was a beautiful staircase in the foyer - and just picturing my dad falling down them. I'm sure they have precautions for that type of thing, but that was my main concern. Otherwise very nice small intimate setting.

Our mom and dad have only lived here for a short time. The staff is amazing. We truly feel that they care about our parents and treat them like family.

[Name removed] was very thorough. Nice perk with the house dog, cat and birds. Bistro area is a benefit too. Feel of the home is a Victorian mansion - very homey and comfortable

Excellent visit and very helpful staff. They have immediate availability and the room is very nice.

My wife was only in this facility for 3 days before passing away. The medical staff was very caring and helpful. Due to the short stay the $2500 Initial Fee turned out to be very costly one. The local administrative staff tried to be helpful but seemed to have their hands tied by the corporate office. I was very happy with the health care that my dear wife received. I too have a mobility handicap so the layout of the physical facility was prohibitive for my visits.

This not all inclusive. $$$

I liked Sunrise very much unfortunately my mom had a stroke and she can't go back as they don't offer skilled nursing which she needs. They were very friendly and helpful. They took great care of my mom. The only complaint I have is that they were very slow in getting the paperwork I needed to submit the claim for my mom's long term care insurance.

The staff and residents are friendly. Mom is adjusting to her new community. The food could be better and hiring additional wait staff would be helpful. All in all, we are satisfied .

Very nice and well maintained. Felt Very Homey. However it is a little pricey.

Beautiful facility set up like a resort. On the way to church in Auburn and bowling in Rocklin. There is a nice dining room in bristow with exercise room and transportation. Rooms were big with high ceilings and the rooms in memory care we're a little smaller but nice. Memory Care passes AR test pro quality and activities. Cable is not provided but transportation to doctors is. The one big drawback is the hours for dining, only one hour from 8 to 9 for breakfast 1 hour from 12 to 1 for lunch and 1 hour from 5 to 6 for dinner. If you miss those times you're out of luck. Also, they are $1,000 more expensive than the pines or almond height and they have 100% occupancy right now so we would have to go on a waiting list. Due to the waiting list extra expense and hours for dining we will have to pass on this one.
