Sunrise Senior Living

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was great, we really liked what we saw but the reason we had to go against it was just the location and the price - it was just to far away and to expensive.

Positive: It is a friendly staff and they provide good care. They are conscientious and always there checking in. Negative: The food is not very good. Inadequate information of care during the sales process. They put my loved in a building inappropriate for him and that was not explained at the beginning.

So far it's going well. We've had no problems with the care. Everyone has been very welcoming, both the staff and the patients. My family member has adjusted very well. The food is okay at best, and they could do a little bit better with that. But the nursing staff is very good. They let me know when prescriptions are low and need to be filled. They check in and give progress reports. And I have been very happy with that.

They were a life saver for my mother! Literally!! We thought we were preparing for the end and things turned around so quickly once she got there. Especially after our horrible experience at a different community!! The sales lady I worked with was great! Helped me get my mother out of the horrible place she was at!! Everyone was super nice! Really loved the facility and her room.

Our families overall experience has been great. Our loved one is happy and feels apart of the community. The activities are a good mix of in house and field trips. The caregivers are polite and respectful. I feel like the entire staff know the residents and actually care for them. I am very pleased with my choice to move our loved one into Sunrise of Northville.

We had a very difficult time, my parents were very resistant to move. Sunrise of Paoli was the most willing to work with them and with me for that whole transition. [name removed] at A Place for Mom who worked with us was amazing. She got us through a very tough time. Overall I would recommend Sunrise to others.

I was very impressed with Sunrise of Montgomery Village. The manager I met with seemed very responsive. The staff were super friendly. It was very clear that the residents' caregiver experience was their priority. I don’t think I realized how important that piece of it was until we’ve had some occasional negative experiences at the place we chose. Looking back, we may have been happier with the caregiver experience at Sunrise. However, it seemed like a smaller facility with older, less active residents. It was a darker facility and felt like a more senior experience than the one we decided to go with.

The Sunrise of Troy community has been able to meet our loved ones needs and overall it just seems like a very nice and safe place to live. Our loved one is not the biggest fan of the quality of the meals but we think they are just fine. The environment overall is very friendly and based con our experience we would recommend Sunrise of Troy to other families.

I was not as impressed with Sunrise of Gilbert. The facility is older and it was too large for my loved one. The staff were all very friendly. The location is close to a lot of shopping so it is pretty busy. For some people that would be great, but for my loved one it was just not going to be the right fit.

We had a great tour experience with Sunrise of Willowbrook. The facility looked nice and the staff did a great job. They were good with their communication and follow up after the tour as well. We just found another facility that seemed to be better laid out for our loved ones needs.

I toured Brighton Gardens and I didn't like that when we took the tour they said they could get my wife in for respite care. We needed respite care for a couple weeks to a month, we were looking for a place that would allow her to recuperate after being in the hospital. Everything happened very fast, but a day or two later they called back and said she couldn't stay for respite. That ruined all of their credibility in my book.

They have been helpful and friendly. The food was better in the beginning. They have a new chef, so maybe things will change. The value for the money is good but it's a little pricey. We picked this place because, It seemed to get a good recommendation from APFM, they had subsidy program which was factor, and for the price it was better than other places. When I walked it was no smell, so that let me know, that it was well maintained and clean.

It was more money, than some of the other places. it wa a closer location. The people were friendly and answered all of my questions.

Our family had an in person tour experience and it was a nice tour but one of the reason we wanted to pick a community was based off of their meals and since we did not get the chance to have one we didn't pick it

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was good as well as the sales person who we worked with. We were able to eat a small meal and it was good but we were able to have a full meal experience and for us to make a decision we wanted to be able to have a full meal.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a very good tour experience, the dining hall felt like you were walking into a country club with a luxurious atmosphere. The meal we were able to eat was wonderful

This community was nice; a little too pricey for us. Also, my loved one didn't like the location.

The building was a little dated and the community was great. However, it was too far for my loved ones.

The community itself seems to be very nice and overall the value is completely worth it. We aren't able to judge the meals because our loved one has to have pureed meals so its hard to know whether its good or not.

I liked sunrise, especially, the dog. The halls were very dark and narrow to me, and rooms seemed small. The price tag was not small!
