Sunrise Senior Living

Everyone who I've interacted with seems to truly care about the people who live there, which is nice. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help. The pricing is reasonable, if as reasonable as senior care can be around here.

Was warmly greeted by [name removed] who provided a brief tour, and introduced to [name removed], Director. I look forward to touring the facility with [name removed] and seeing units when they become available in this lovely building.

[name removed] the intake person was so competent, patient and helpful. Her casual can/do attitude reflects the whole staff. [name removed] the manager is perky positive, it is obvious she loves her job. Her newsletters are wonderful. My mom raves about the good food// though she mostly orders cold sandwiches, by her choice.

This was the first tour. Staff was friendly, building and rooms were clean, and there were activities if my mother wanted to participate. Presentation was thorough and our questions were answered. The small studio room was a good fit.

The staff are responsive to requests. There is a hustle and bustle in the public areas which I appreciate for my mom--I know she won't become "lost." The personalities of the staff are such that they are great with older people-"Hi [name removed]. So you're a night owl!" The staff all pitch in for special events like the holiday party, even outside their normal hours.

It was a very nice place but unfortunately not a good fit for our mother after all. We were sad to move her back home in early January. We had not understood what stage my mother's dementia is in. She really needs 1:1 assistance so we moved her home with full-time aides. She is more comfortable there despite missing the activities and engagement at the residence. We appreciate all of [name removed] help and expertise. You all offer an excellent service! We will come to you again if we end up needing a more comprehensive memory care residence.

The medical attention and personal, hygienic care is less well-done than I expected. Very lovely facility however, and the administrator [name removed] is excellent. Mom says the food is not the best.

We liked that it was not a large facility. The nurse and so called social worker on the same floor as the residents apartments.. Studio apartment was smaller than other facilities we had seen. [name removed] was prepared and answered all of our questions.

So far, my experience at Sunrise has been great & am very happy to have moved here. Seriously consider coming here. But, look around, and then come here, it's what I did and felt Sunrise to have a lifestyle more closely reflecting my personal requirements.

The staff spent a lot of time talking to me and answered all of my questions without issues. The place seemed well run and had a homey feeling. The decor matched the style that many of the residents were comfortable with as it matched their generation's style and aesthetic. The rooms were a little small but that is not always a bad thing for residents in advanced age. Less room means less stuff and less effort to keep it all organized and working.

What we like the most about the community is that it is not too big, has a cozy environment, and the staff members are friendly.

Staff are excellent, friendly and caring. Food is good. Clean and welcoming environment. Price is high. Room size and layout is good. Small resident number results in few open spaces to roam but all rooms feed into a common dining and activities area. Well landscaped but limited outside areas to walk. Had a couple of problems getting bills mailed to the correct desk but administrative staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Overall a good experience. The activities are limited by the small resident number.

I liked Sunrise of Willowbrook, except the lack of a private bedroom. The one bedroom is more like a studio. There is no privacy for the bedroom. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Very convenient location.

I visited and toured the facility and was impressed with the kindness and knowledge of the sales staff. They were very clear about pricing and what was included. The public spaces are very homey, not super fancy, but nice and what I would describe as comfortable and home like. Sunrise is uniquely situated in a very accessible area. Residents could walk to coffee, a small grocery, and a pharmacy to make a few places, as well as the bike path. The residents rooms are more institutional than some other places, feeling like a dorm room or suite versus an apartment. If a resident was more active I think the pros of the accessibility would be more important than the more institutional living quarters.

I can't really comment on the value for cost because I'm not paying the bill, my mother is (his wife). However, what we like the most about the community is that everyone is so friendly & willing to help. I like that it's small, not overwhelming. We would absolutely recommend the community to other families.

Staff are very good. They get to know your family member and help acclimate them to the facility. Try to keep them involved and active.

It was nice, though small and felt dreary. The staff was very nice. Unfortunately It would not be a good fit for our Mom and we are going to pass on this facility. The rooms felt smaller than other facilities in the area. The building seemed older.

What we like the most about the community is that it seemed very clean and decorated nicely. Yes, I would recommend Sunrise of Sandy to other families based on the experience so far.

Nice facility (similar to one our grandmother was previously in) The staff was friendly and seemed to have some tenure. Tour was helpful - our only concern was location (a bit farther south than other facilities) and they were a bit more reliant on the Rehab facility to lay out the work plan compared to other facilities we toured.

The staff is friendly and the facilities are very good. The extra charges seem high. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.
