Very nice place; homey.

This is a very nice place, and would have been my choice! It turns out that I just wasn't ready to move yet. However, it's very nice and clean. The people are all very friendly, and the food was very good!

My grandmother has lived in her home independently for over 60 years. We moved her into Sunrise and the adjustment was a huge change for her. However, the staff and other residents have exceeded my expectations in making her feel welcomed and "one of the family". There are a ton of daily activities, the food is good, and yet she still has her independence. The staff has been awesome at allowing her to still have her own independence when it comes to activities, and daily tasks. That was one thing I value is how they allow her to maintain a somewhat independant lifestyle while still having 24 hour care. It's not a hospital or "prison" as my grandmother was referring to assisted living before we chose Sunrise. Sunrise staff are always friendly and take that extra step however they can to help you. I'm really happy we chose them for my grandmothers new home, but more importantly, she's happy we chose them as her new home.

We have nothing but good things to say about Sunrise! Everything has been just wonderful! We liked this place because it seemed more homey than some of the others! They were very welcoming! The location was convenient for us, but the facility itself is also larger and more open than some of the others we looked at.

We are happy with it. Everybody is very friendly, and they have a good variety of activities. There really isn't anything that needs to be improved, we don't have any concerns. Her food is pureed, so she doesn't really care for the food so much.

Overall they did a great job here, although we didn't use them for long before we decided to move our loved one to another state to be closer to family. It was a nice looking community, and the staff were all very friendly. The only complaint I'd have is that they seemed short-staffed.

This is a wonderful community, I'd give them top marks across the board. The staff are very friendly and easy to work with, and patient and caring with the residents. They're really good about staying in touch with families, and they provide all kinds of useful information. My loved one is very happy here!

Sunrise is just wonderful! My loved one has not once asked to go back home! The activities really aren't her thing, but they do offer them! The only issue is the billing. It goes through their corporate office in OH, so there is sometimes a delay in the payments showing up. However, we have not had any discrepancies in our bills. Lee, the Director, is a lovely woman. Max, who does the billing, called me and explained how it all works, and now I know what to expect. The care is great! The staff are all wonderful, all the way down to the waitresses! They all get to know the residents so well! The daily caregivers are just great, too! My loved one is really enjoying herself here, and it's so nice for the family as well!

I was very impressed with this facility. They were warm, welcoming, and seemed very on top of things for Dad. Example: he needed to borrow a TV till we can get his things moved and they had one installed within minutes. He's only been there a day but I haven't had any panicked phone calls from him or them, so I consider that a great start! The atmosphere is very cheerful, and the things I particularly like about it are that the price is all-inclusive (phone and cable too!), so there's no a la carte "ka-ching!" every time you want to add a service. I like that medications are brought to the residents, not dispensed in a single location where the residents have to go get them. I like that it has intellectual programs like current events discussions and history lectures, not just bingo. (Dad plays chess, not bingo.) The only downside to the facility is that it's a little lacking in outdoor space. There's a nice wrap-around porch with rockers, but otherwise not much in the way of usable outdoor space for residents that need a walker or wheelchair.

Overall, we are pleased with Gayton Terrace. There was an incident where they didn't check up on our loved one after surgery, when the doctor instructed that they needed to, so we had to ask them to do it properly. Other than that, they were the full package that we were looking for and we just liked them better than any of the others in the area.

Love Sunrise, feel like it would be perfect but we are concerned about the price.

Family move our Aunt and Uncle from out of state to NJ. The move was stressful and a little chaotic on our side but the Sunrise staff was very understanding and helpful. We observed staff being very attentive to the residents. Uncle is enjoying the menu. Our Aunt and Uncle are smiling again and seem very pleased with their new home.

I needed a place to move my mother from another facility who did not care for her properly. From the moment I toured Sunrise I knew mom would be well taken care of. They help me with the whole process from beginning to end. I have seen a very positive improvement in my mother and in her care!

There was a bit of a cluster when my loved one checked in, but the management was superb and immediately resolved any issues. They took it from the head caregiver all the way up to the big boss, and it was all fixed. The location was great, but the interior is beautiful! The hallways look like a little town, and they're set up that way. The units have little windows in the front where you can put a collage of pictures and artifacts that really personalize their space. We were only there for a short while, but they were superb! I loved it when she was there and I would highly recommend them!

A lovely, warm, and caring community! Very welcoming staff. Spacious floor plan with nice amenities and an individualized care approach foe each resident.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful this facility was for my father!!! It wasn't just about another resident paying for a bed. It was about my father and his family. It was about personalized attention and care to his needs and adjusting the care to what he needed, when he needed it. Every single person at Sunrise was phenomenal.

If you are looking for a place for your parents, contact "A Place For Mom" first! They were so very helpful! If it wasn't for that phone call, we would still be searching! The Belmont Village is beautiful! For my mom, it felt like home from the second she walked in the door!

We've been more than happy with the service that they provide here. They're a great organization, and they've done a fantastic job in every aspect, I'd give them 10 out 5 in every category, we really are pleased with them.
