Sunrise Senior Living

It's a very good place. I trust them with my father. I feel confident that he is well taken care of. The staff is very pleasant. Everybody there is happy. They are always smiling. Nobody seems upset. The communication with the staff has been good. I have eaten here before and the food is very good. I would recommend the Brighton Gardens of Winston to anyone looking for a friendly and good community.

We visited about 8 places. The Colonnades is comparable pricewise to just about all of them, but you get more for the money: facilities and services onsite, activities on- and off-site, meals with many choices and flexible times, nicely finished apartments, clean throughout, beautiful surroundings, convenient to shopping and cultural activities, only 10 minutes to an airport. It has comprehensive services for independent living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The residents are also friendly. I'm thrilled that my mom was able to move there.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

I think that the staff at Sunrise at River road are more than friendly. They are very accommodating and the entire staff was super nice. We looked at a half dozen other facilities and thought this was the nicest one.

Toured on Friday, July 31. Had lunch with several of the residents and had a good visit with them. Very impressed with the facility. Still have some questions and will be contacting them again for further information.

My experience has been amazing because of Sunrise. I do not have to worry about my parents, I know they are well cared for. They are good about calling me with any changes, or if anything happens. They always keep me in the loop. The caregivers are loving, caring, and amazing. My parents love being there. Overall, it has been the best thing I could have done for them. The place is nice, it is clean and comfortable. They are fed well. I am extremely happy.

My mother was only there at Brighton Gardens of Mountainside before she had to go back to the hospital. But from my experience, limited though it may have been, they were excellent. All of the people that we dealt with were very helpful and very considerate of my mothers circumstances.

They do a great job at Stratford Court, I would give them top marks across the board, they've been perfect! The staff are respectful and caring, and really understand the sorts of changes seniors are going through. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend them!

They have gone out of their way to make my parents happy. If you have any complaints, they fix them. My dad didn't like the temperature of the area we were in and they moved us to a different area. I am very happy and pleased with this facility. The food is excellent. My mother was at a previous facility before. The staff at Sunrise of Willowbrook are more upbeat and positive. I would recommend this place.

They have been wonderful. We have been very pleased. There were a couple of activities that got cancelled, which was a little disappointing. Other than that we have been very pleased with them. We liked the overall appearance of the place. It was also in a good location. It's light and airy.

Basically the facility we selected, Sunrise at River Road, the staff there was much more friendly and more attentive than at the other facilities we looked at. It was just the homiest and the friendliest place.

This facility has every my husband will need. The staff is outstanding.

I really like this place. It seems to put an emphasis on community. The care managers are upbeat and responsive and communication with nursing staff is always available. Its one of those places where you can feel good at knowing your parent is in a caring supportive environment during these years. That said, my mom who is 90, is struggling with her transition from home owner, to living in a group environment. Its not easy on her. Since for many elders losing total control over one's environment brings personal dissatisfaction, I am confident that she is getting the best attention and treatment on a consistent basis. I visit almost daily so I know the staff, the dining experience and the routine and so far I think this is an excellent facility.

Sunrise has been very good, so far. We haven't had any complaints about food or anything. I am pretty happy with it so far. I would give them a five at this point.

They are excellent! The staff really go way above and beyond. They are very friendly and they engage the residents. They have plenty of activities that the residents are encouraged to participate in. I am very happy with and highly recommend Sunrise at Sterling Canyon. The staff there is the best!

We have been trying to get her to move North and we first looked at New City and we loved it then. It took two years and a bad falling accident to get her to be okay with moving in to it, but her first day she was there I could tell that she was so relieved. She was so surprised. We were afraid she was going to come in and be a crab and you could tell she knew she was going to be okay there. The people are so friendly. She's very, very pleased to be there.

This is the one I'm most interested in. It appears to have the most to offer and reasonable prices.

Extremely welcoming & homey. My kids even felt that this was the place for grandma & love to visit her there. Everyone truly seems to want to know how to best care for her and are uplifting & positive. We thought it was going to be a tough decision but instead was an obvious one without a doubt.

I am in awe of the kindness, attention to detail, and cohesiveness of the staff. They are very respectful of the residents, visitors and each other. I have never seen or heard anyone say "I don't know" without offering to find someone to help. I have only visited other facilities, I have never had a close relative live in one, but Sunrise seems to do everything right. It is a very impressive residence, the design and decor are lovely, and nothing suggests "institution" as so many places do. I am so happy we chose Sunrise. I didn't mark down for cleanliness, but take a look at the refrigerator on the second floor, it's pretty bad on the outside, I was afraid to get ice or drink the water.

It's absolutely perfect. When you walk in there, the personnel make you feel just like family. She says the food is wonderful. We went to a cookout that they hosted, and I have never had picnic food that tasted so good. We did what you aren't supposed to do, and picked the first place we looked at. Before the tour was even finished she decided this was her place, and we agreed!
