Sunrise Senior Living

Mom is participating in many of the activities they offer here. They do not have kitchens in their rooms so they are encouraged to go down to meals. The staff really got to know her and they treat the residents with respect. We are very pleased with how clean the community is and the outside is well maintained. I would recommend this community.

Wonderful kind people

This is a lovely community, we were all set to move my mother here. My mother ended up wanting to stay home, but this was gonna be a lovely community for her to move. From what I saw they do a very good job with the cleanliness of the community. The staff was kind and friendly. They were gonna provide her with good care, but she preferred to stay home. A place for mom was great with all the help they provided us with.

Beautiful, clean, and friendly environment. The Sunrise facilities look like Southern Belle mansions. The sunroom with its comfy chairs is a happy place for seating all year round and the rocking chairs that line the front porch are quaint. I can really see my mom using these areas. Snacks are available all the time and the dining room is so inviting. All in all its a lovely place. I'm really leaning toward Sunrise in Bloomingdale.

What an ideal place! The staff was wonderful. Debbie is awesome. From the moment we entered the building, the Concierge got up to come and warmly greet us. Debbie was very friendly and professional, and thorough in explanation of how the facility runs. She is also very accommodating. We would love for our parents to stay at such an outstanding place. Staff knows the residents by name, everyone was friendly, everything was very positive and upbeat, even in the Memory Care section. I couldn't be more impressed.

My mom wasn't too happy about going to an assisted living home. We all new it was best for her. She is very happy at Sunrise and very social . She loves the employees and has made lots of new friends. She hasn't been this happy in along time.

Friendly, helpful and caring staff. Nice apartments. Many service and amenities, beautiful facility and good food. Convenient location. The residents seem to love it. Mother was in her home for 58 years and it was hard to leave. We set up her apartment with her own furniture, treasured items and family photos . This made it feel more like home for her. This really helped with the transition.

One thing i really like about the community is that it's small and gives that family feeling. The staff is very nice and communicate very well. My father participates sometimes in some of the activities. He is getting engaged more little by little. The meals have been okay for him.

Parkwood Estates has been providing wonderful care for my grandmother. If she does not go to eat they get concerned and make sure everything is okay with her. The meals are good they have good taste. The community is kept clean and safe. The staff has been great with my grandma and keeping us informed of everything that happens.

The Sunrise representative was great. I had lots of questions more now that I seen so many other communities. He answered all of them in length and to my satisfaction. Showed us where he had a one bedroom from outside so we could see the view and the size of the balcony. So we picked Sunrise.

My parents liked living at Sunrise. The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. They did enjoy a little of the activities offered. The community is well maintained and I would recommend it. The food is average according to my parents.

I absolutely love Holiday Hills Estates! Jeff [Removed ], my contact at Holiday Hills, was so kind and friendly, and he provided me with everything I might possibly want to know about Holiday Hills...and also about "aging in place" and the like. I highly recommend not only Holiday Hills Estates, but Mr. [Removed ] as well. Thank you!

My family had no idea what to expect when we started our search for dad's new home. Lakewood Estates was our first stop and after seeing a few others, we couldn't forget the feel of family and sense of community at Lakewood Estates, so that's where dad moved to. From the Managers to the Sales person to the Residents, it really does make you feel like home and we know it is the best solution, not perfect, but we are very happy!

The staff at Sunrise have been great. They help my mom to get involved in some of the activities. She likes to go on walks and has attended a church service. She likes the food and I am pleased with the menu. She is still adjusting to being there but she has made friends and I think this will help with her adjustment.

There is good communication with the friendly staff at this community. They keep the community clean. My Mother in law likes to participate in many of the daily activities offered. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

My father's experience here at this community was an good a one. We did end up moving him, but that was only because he was to far from the family. Everything went very well, I knew he was safe and in good hands. The community looked great, everything was always nice and clean. There are activities offered for the residents. He loved the meals. Overall it was a very nice experience and I would recommend this community.

I am think my community is wonderful! I love it and it is excellent. It is as good as it can be. I am having a few issues with my food allergies and now I have to prepare my own meals. I am happy with the place but I need to find a home that does not include meals with my rent because I prepare my own food.

Everyone at Sunrise is amazing. Kind, caring, loving and they love what they do. My mom was only there for a short time unfortunately but they made a lasting impression. Anyone's loved one will thrive at Sunrise. My whole family was so pleased with the choice of Sunrise

This was a community I was very satisfied with. My husbands last days were here, and they did a good job with making sure he was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind. He was very pleased with the food, the meals were nice. The care they provided was good. This is a community I would highly recommend.
