Nice place

Things are going fine. The staff does a very good job there. So far, we do not have any complaints.

We recently settled Mary [removed] (mother/mother-in-law) in as one of your newest residents at Sunrise at Woodcliff Lake. The words that first come to mind are warm and welcoming. Both in regards to the staff and the physical setting. Julie [removed] was incredible. Dealing with a very narrow time limit. (10 days which included two weekends plus the Christmas holiday. ....which brought it down to less than four days) she put it all together seamlessly. Amazing. Christine (activities, etc) was also there at every turn. Answering any question and getting Mary involved with the life of Woodcliff immediately. Bob from maintenance was on the spot hanging pictures and helping with phone installation. The entire experience was so comforting at a difficult time. There aren't adequate words to express our appreciation. We could not be happier that we found Sunrise at Woodcliff Lake.

It's expensive but I have no complaints. They only clean the rooms weekly which is standard; by the end of the seven days, cleaning is really needed. It is a beautiful place and everyone has been super friendly and tried to meet our needs and requests 100%. Lots of activities both onsite and "field trips." Food choices at meals. We are waiting on a smaller unit to become available as we are paying for a two bedroom which is more than is needed. Caretakers are very responsive. Nurse practitioner available onsite with appt, RN on staff. Transportation to appts offered, hair salon on site. Really no complaints at all.

My husband has not been there very long. I think they could improve when people first arrive and move in there they could be more attentive to them.

Sunrise is a very cheerful and friendly place. The staff is totally dedicated to making the living experience for their residents as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. There are many activities, many friendly residents, excellent care and very nice rooms. I would recommend it very highly,

We are very pleased with Sunrise in Gurnee. So far it has been a very good experience for our father.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Sunrise of Shelby! It's a very nice place! The staff is friendly and professional, and there is always someone around when you need them. The facility is clean and well kept, and it's just the right size for Mom, some of the places we looked at were just too big for her to be able to get around.

The apartments are not modern enough. The food could be more specialized to fit the more specific diets. Otherwise that is the only thing I am unhappy about. It is a pretty nice facility. It's a good place.

The care services they provide is very good. The friendliness of the staff is overwhelming. They are very nice and friendly. The activities are good when you participate. They offer several activities.

Update to past review. She is now in a private room and loves it. She was also able to speak for herself the needs she requires about care such as assist with dressing (she can do it herself). Staff was made aware and she is now "living" much like she did at home while having social interactions activities ,(of which there are MANY!), delicious home cooked meals, medication management, etc. SUNRISE of Troy, you are an answer to our prayers!

We could not be any happier with Sunrise. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Mom LOVES it here. Many activities everyday, excellent home cooked meals, clean, friendly, respectful environment.

The staff is doing a great job. We're fairly new to the facility. The food is great. The building is a older and outdated but overall it's a good place.

bEEN THERE A MONTH. MEALS ARE WONDERFUL, LOTS OF ACTIVITES, NICE ROOMS. WEEKEND AIDS (SOME) ARE GRUFF WITH CLIENTS AS WELL AS SOME MIDNIGHT AIDS. MOVING INTO A RIVATE ROOM TO SEE IF THAT HELPS SOLVE SOME OF THIS. THIS IS HER PERCEPTION AND SHE IS A COMPLAINER ANYWAYS--SO IT MAY NOT BE AS BAD AS SHE RELAYS TO ME . LOL

Sunrise is a gorgeous place. The facility is kept immaculate and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It is like a resort for Senior Citizen's here. The staff is so professional and you can tell that they take a genuine interest in the residents well being.

My Dad is here. I highly recommend this place! The staff is nice and professional . The place is clean. Food is great. My dad is happy and under great care.

The biggest thing is that they accepted her into the facility. I had a hard time finding a place and they have made her feel real good about being there at the Sunrise of Leawood. The staff is doing a great job.

The facility and the grounds here are very nice. The building is always nice and clean. The whole staff is very compassionate and professional. You can tell that they really care about the people here. They go out of their way to make us happy.

We have only been there a couple months, but I do not have any complaints. I think they are great place, I would recommend it to anyone. Whenever we ask for anything they are right there for us and are nice to my loved ones.
