Sunrise Senior Living

This truly was the ideal place for Grandma. It was warm and welcoming and spelled like freshly baked cookies. I wanted to move in there. Trish, the woman who gave us a tour, seemed to know most if not all the residents and staff. The only drawback was the price, which was slightly high, but that may not stop us from coming back.

I love this Courtyard and I am doing all in my powers to move in within the next 6 months. I'm selling my house and coming to a new beginning. Nothing is as nice and warm as the Courtyard at Lakewood. Can't wait to call it home.

I just moved my mother into Sunrise at West Essex in NJ. I rated the above categories based upon her initial move-in, not weeks of experience. So far, my experience with this Sunrise location has been great. They are all so friendly and helpful. My mother seems to have come back to life when she moved in, with all the people interactions and activities. I definitely have peace of mind with them. The top administrator and nurse were especially comforting and helpful.

On the tour we realized it was very clean and we like the way they treated the residents. We appreciated what they taught us about the disease. We enjoyed the staff and they had a doctor on call, dentist and podiatrist come once a month, so no need to leave the facility. I am happy with the attention they give my brother-in-law, they don't say no just redirect the residents. Every time I visit him he is up, clean, and dressed. His room is spotless and the bed is made. The staff keep him active and always going on outings. I love all the staff, I have not met anyone who is mean, they all love him. He enjoys the meals and the staff extent an invitation, all we have to do is let them know ahead so they can prepare meals. We are able to come day or night and take my brother-in-law for awhile or overnight. I like that they know he loves dancing and use games to help their memory. I saw him sitting with a group and they were shouting answers to what are some green things. He is able to work at his own pace.

My loved one was only at this community for a short period of time, but it was a very positive experience. They had great views of the ocean from the property and often took the residents to the beach to enjoy lunch or breakfast down there. They also offered great care from the staff, they all where friendly and always had a great attitude. I would defiantly recommend this place, it was amazing.

Enjoyed the tour of this Sunrise facility. The staff was very friendly & informative. They introduced me to some long time residents and one invited us into her one bedroom apartment. Great impression overall.

Everyone is here to help all those in need! The food service downstairs is excellent! Thank you very much for all you services!

Sunrise does not feel like an institution it has an intimate sense about it. They offer two meals a day and mom likes the food about 90% of the time. The community is clean and well maintained. The staff are attentive and encouraging and I would recommend this community.

My father has recently passed, but he had the best two weeks of his life here at this community. The staff did a great job caring for him and his needs. The communication between the staff and myself was very good. This was the best move we could had made for him and his needs. It was a good experience.

My loved one has really enjoyed his stay so far at this community, the staff have done a great job at making sure that my dad is comfortable and his needs are being met. He has especially enjoyed the different field trips they take them on and the various activities they do with the residents during the week. I overall have no complaints and would recommend this facility.

Sunrise at Frisco . The staff was nice and helpful and answered questions for us. . I think that they would of made more friends with what we felt from another community at this time. They did have activities for those who wanted to participate and stay active . We would recommend this community for good care and value .

The memory care unit must be a hard place to work and my mom lived there for one year. The staff not one, but all of them impressed me. They treated everyone with dignity and respect and cared for them as of they were one of their family members. Instead of sitting in a room all day doing nothing they engage the seniors into various activities. I was so glad my mom spent her last year of life there and I could never express how grateful I am to everyone on the 4th floor. She came from another facility where she was in her room all day and it wasn't good. The first time I came to visit her here at Sunrise she was playing a tambourine and singing. I seriously did not recognize her. I thank everyone there for enjoying my mom like she was your mom and being so kind to her. To her for that year you were her family and you lived in her neighborhood and trust me, she loved all of you each and every single one of you. God Bless you and I thank you so much for showing genuine compassion because its hard to come by these days! Not only is this a beautiful facility, its filled with wonderful people who love their job and its obvious.

Sunrise Senior Living is a wonderful assisted living facility. They provide wonderful care for their residents. The facility is very clean and organized and provides residents with all day activities to enjoy. The quality of food and variety of choices is excellent. I rest easy knowing that my brother is in a healthy and safe environment. They also have a wonderful live in golden retriever named Buddy. He greets everyone and is sweet, gentle, and loves people. The residents light up when they are around him.

I have not been able to be here personally, but my loved one has had no complaints about the place. Seems that they are taking good care of my loved one. She is enjoying herself, of course it would be better at home, but this is the closet thing to home.

The place was very nice. Gail was very helpful. The price was in my range. I will go back and look again when I finish my first round of looking.

We moved our Mom to the Sunrise Senior Living facility in Dublin, Oh last week. So far we have been very pleased with their responses/support during the time we were making this decision, and more importantly since Mom moved in.

My mom is living in a great community. The staff is outstanding. She is enjoying the activities and they do alot. They bring in animals and she likes that alot. They have live music and that is very helpful for her to enjoy.The community is always so very clean. We recommend this community highly to others for great care.

Very nice facility and friendly staff! The studio apartment we toured is roomy with a small kitchenette area. The pricing is affordable compared to some other facilities in the same geographical area. A lot of activities are planned for the residents if they choose to be active, and there is no lack of entertainment on campus. My wife and I actually got to listen in on a professional singer giving a mini concert on the day of our tour. Nice! This is a great facility if you or your loved one have a social personality and like to keep active. I would recommend this facility to family and friends!

Everyone here is very good and they are helpful and caring. My loved ones really like it here. They have finally went to the dining area and they like it and are starting to meet people. They offer a lot of activities, but my loved ones have not participated yet. I would recommend them.

When I went to the facility for a tour. I saw that it was a huge facility and this would cause confusion for my mother-in-law. It was expensive and they acted like if you ran out of money you had to move out. Otherwise the tour was fine.
