I am very happy here at this community. The staff are very nice and caring with my needs. I enjoy the food here and the variety of what they offer. There are activities for me when I want to participate. I would recommend others to come and see this great community for over all great care and value.

I toured this community for my mom due to being close to my home. I found the staff to be very nice and very helpful. I did not see any activities for my mom to participate in. This community is clean and the staff are nice. The food seemed to be appealing. I would recommend this community for families to see if this community would fit there needs.

I would highly recommend this community. They keep the community very clean and well maintained. My mother in law always says the food is good and they take good care of me. She is doing better since moving into this community. The doctors there have helped with her Alzheimer's. I would like to see the staff use the residents names more often when interacting with them.

So far everything is going well with my father's move to this community. We like the meals I've eaten there several times and they are very good. They also have a church there, we go every Sunday. The place is very clean well maintained. They have activities available at all times and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We are very happy with our choice.

I have really enjoyed the staff at this community they have been absolutely wonderful to work with. They have been great with making sure they stay in contact with me about my dad and truly care about his well being. They have a comfortable and safe living environment with lots of positive energy. I am very pleased with our experience this far.

Great tour of Colonnades. [Removed] gave us a very detailed tour of the place and was kind enough to offer a lunch and meeting with some other residents. We hope to do that the next time we come to Charlottesville to visit our children.

Wonderful place. Everyone was happy,positive and helpful, from the receptionist, Director of Sales, residents and the head chef! Privacy and respect to the residents was top notch. Our choice for our family member!!!

My parents are really their time here at this community. They are doing quite well, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. It is a nice safe community. I'am comfortable with the care they are being provided with. The staff have been very accommodating. They do keep the residents very active with the activities. The meals are nice, and they are pleased. This is a community I would recommend.

We moved our Mom to Sunrise in May. She is unable to walk and is late stage Alzheimer. We are so grateful for the care takers in the memory care facility (Reminiscence). They have a very difficult job and they do it very well. The facility is clean and well kept. The exterior grounds are just beautiful. We know our mom is being taken care of better than we can. They memory care unit manager ([Removed]) is involved in the day to day happenings and is always interested in family feedback. We have gotten to know many of the care managers well which makes us so comfortable with our decision. This has been heartbreaking for the family and this Sunrise facility has made the transition much easier for us.

The staff at sunrise are the best and my friend is very happy to be living in such a warm and caring home. And A very special thanks to [Removed] who took the worry and stress away to make the transition seamless.

The director at this community is fabulous. He has handled all the things dad has requested help with. Dad loves it here and wishes he would have moved sooner. I am relieved he is happy and enjoying the company of others. He plays bingo and bag baseball. He goes out with other residents to events in the community. He loves the meals and the variety of food choices. I would recommend this community.

My Father is 87 years old and suffered a spine fracture in September 2016 from a fall at his home... he also has level 2 dementia.... he's been in rehab and other facilities and things weren't going so well for him... We then did some more research and learned about Brighton Gardens... we decided to move him in there about a year ago... since then he has been improving immensely... We are amazed at the excellent care that my Dad has had at Brighton Gardens... he's in great spirits and is more involved in social events, etc... The staff at BG REALLY CARE about their residents and their well-being... They always go the extra mile to accommodate and help their residents and their families in all ways possible... it's like a breath of fresh air with positive energy everywhere at BG... Their motto is "The Joy of Everyday"... they really do bring it... We're convinced that it's the best memory and dementia care facility in the country!

I was impressed with the level of knowledge that [Removed] has about Sunrise. She was able to answer a lot of our questions and brought in the head nurse to answer medical questions. The premises are well designed and maintained. The residents looked well cared for. Overall a very good impression.

They offer at least five different activities a day including on the weekends. The food is good and they offer a variety of choices. The staff are great and the community is kept clean. They know my parents by name and the dining room staff know them and what they like. They offer different levels of care.

This has a home life appeal here. A very comfortable atmosphere. The staff is wonderful and caring.The food was very appealing. My mother in law like the staff and still wants to come and visit the staff even though she will not move in to this community. A cheerful community that makes you feel like your at a large home that is your home. Families would benefit on the care at this community with the good value.

I am very happy here with this community. The staff is very caring and helpful. The food is the right amount when served. I do think some small improvements could be made to be more like home cooking. I like the clean environment, of living here. I highly recommend this community to other families for good care and value.

I would definitely recommend the Sunrise of Westminster because of the quality of care they provide for my loved one. The staff is very friendly and are helping her adjust to the community. The place is kept very clean and organized. The meals overall are pretty average. The room she is in is very comfortable and has everything she needs. We are very happy with our choice.

The staff have done an outstanding job at being attentive to my mothers needs. They have done a great job at reminding her to take her medication as well as helping her up and down the stairs for meal times. They have also been encouraging her to get involved in more activities and help her get acquainted with the other residents in the community. Overall the staff at this place have had a very positive impact on my mother and I am very thankful for them. She seems to be really enjoying the food and says the entrees they serve are delicious. I have no complaints this far and would defiantly recommend this place.
