Everything gets a 5. I looked at other places, but it all came down to location, location, location. When I visited, the facility was always neat, clean, bright, and airy. The staff was very attentive, and kept me very well informed on what was happening with my mother at all times. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Mountain Lakes to other families searching.

We toured Sunrise of Columbia and we loved it! It seemed to be well run and clean with a supportive and friendly staff. We didn't choose this facility for two reasons: the cost and the lack of on site dialysis. We really preferred it, though.

Professional and mature senior staff, junior staff has been friendly, patient, and supportive in the face of my wife's short term memory issues and ongoing frustration with her new medical issues. I would recommend Sunrise of Edina to others looking.

I would highly recommend Sunrise of Chesterfield. They can handle medical needs like a skilled nursing home but they have the look and feel of a luxury retirement community. Both of my parents are moving in a few weeks from now. My siblings met the entire team in the tour and parted with a homemade cheesecake made by the chef. My family was very impressed with the activities they saw while they were on their tour. My parents can’t wait to move in!

The staff was good and open during our conversation during the tour. They were very helpful and provided very frank feedback and helped us decide this wasn't the right fit for our loved one at this time.

Family is very pleased with the care our loved one is receiving. He has some independence, yet careful supervision for his needs. He is very social and has many outlets for his socialization. He is very happy at Sunrise.

Every member of the staff - from the Director ([name removed]) and sales coordinator ([name removed]) to the nurse who came to rehab to assess my friend's condition to the maintenance person who set up her room and put together her bed and rollator - was incredibly kind and welcoming! It made an incredibly difficult transition to assisted living so much easier than expected. Over the nearly 4 months since my friend moved in she has made many friends, enjoyed many activities on a daily basis and has received great care from the nursing staff. Two staff members in particular have gone beyond in caring for her and in making her feel special and loved. So far the experience has exceeded my expectations and make it easier for me to sleep at night knowing she is safe.

It is really pricey, but the staff is exceptional, friendly and attentive. Mom loved the food, and there were choices if you didn't care for the main item at each meal. The nurses really helped get mom onto much better physical shape. I would highly recommend the facility to others.

When we first got there, we were very anxious. This was a whole new situation for us. But they walked us through it. There was no pressure. The tipping point was my family member had a cat, and she was allowed to keep her cat, which meant the world to her. She loves the food. And there are plenty of activities. The staff are excellent. Every one of them greets you and is friendly, and if you have a question, they promptly answer it for you.

MY mom really feels comfortable there. She looks forward to the activities. She also loves her roommate. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Sunrise of DIx Hills to other families.

Our family had an in person tour with Sunrise of Louisville and we thought overall it was a really nice tour experience as well as the staff being friendly. We were able to meet with their activities director who was very impressive and the community it pet friendly .

We chose Sunrise of Paramus because of the size of the facility. It is small and that works for my mom. Very personalized care from the staff - there are only 42 rooms. The staff is amazing. I have gotten to know them all. Each time I leave, I thank them all for caring for my mom. They are a great group.

The staff is wonderful and all have been there many years so there is not any change over with staff. We chose this community for location, services, cost of care and availability. Smooth transition, helpful staff, great communication with family members, caring and upbeat staff.

I toured this facility with an elderly uncle who recently became a widower. The staff was impressive, always professional and ready with answers to questions. Some of the residents were welcoming as well. We both felt that Holiday The Courtyard at Lakewood has a lot to offer at a reasonable and fair cost. Anyone looking for an independent living situation a loved one would do well to consider this property.

The staff there are very informative. We truly believe they have the well-being of the tenants as their priority. Given the chance we would without hesitation recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had with them so far. It's wonderful, totally unlike anything I imagined. I'd like to live there. I saw a number of gentle fitness classes are available. I think the day I was there was movie night, too. The people are very invested in the wellbeing of the community there. The word "community " is very apt. Excellent food, really I was impressed. I was so happy to see how they take care of my brother, doing his laundry, making his bed, checking in with him. The personal touch goes a long way. The 24 hour Bistro is genius.

Our loved one had very few meals there so it is hard to judge. The activities and value for cost were also not the easiest to judge but overall it was good. We would recommend Sunrise to anyone in the need.

It has been a good experience for us -- we did not eat the food when we toured, but the dining facilities looked nice and clean! We will be renting a cottage here! The cottages have lots of room for us and the living room and the kitchen are ample, there is lots if windows in the cottages so it gets a lot of natural light.

My Mom was in another assisted living prior to coming to Sunrise. She resides in the Memory care unit. All the residents are always together in the living room or activity room with the staff whether they can or want to participate in the activity going on. There are many activities every day to keep them stimulated. The staff are kind and respectful. For the first time in years I'm not worrying about my Mom because I know she is well cared for at Sunrise!
