Sunrise Senior Living

We moved my 86-year-old mom into Braddock Glen at the end of July 2023, and we feel incredibly fortunate that she is there! It’s a small assisted living community, so everyone knows everyone by first name - including us as family members. The place is clean and welcoming. She has received outstanding care there as she has adjusted to leaving her home of many years. The staff are friendly, care about their residents, and many have been working there for quite a few years. They are responsive and communication has been great. It is a huge relief knowing she is safe and in such good hands, whether from the team members who empty her trash or clean her room, to those who provide her with physical therapy or health checks, to the reception team and very visible and present director…I highly recommend Braddock Glen.

They are able to provide care for residents who are more impaired. The other facilities could not manage the falls and could not provide the level of care that my dad needed. And he won't have to move again. Communication needs to improve.

I enjoy sitting by the front desk, everyone is so nice and the place is always filled with smiles.

I would say my mom was only there a week before she passed. Everyone seemed nice. It is a homey, comfy place compared to others that seemed like hospitals. I would recommend to other families.

Overall care is very good and she really enjoys their food.

My experience has been pleasurable, interesting, and I’ve enjoyed the people at the desk. I’ve made many friends here, and I’ve enjoyed memorizing their names. People are very different in the sense of a family away from home. My home which is ten/15 minutes away from here, gives me a chance to see my adult children and grandchildren. My children have given me five lovely grandchildren.

My experience has been excellent. The food is great, the staff is wonderful. They always have the residence in mind. I love meeting with my peers at meal. The staff has been great overall experience is very good.

A few years ago I found Sunrise of Wall through A Place for Mom. The minute I toured the facility, I knew it was the right place for my mom. The feeling of home hits you right away between the cozy front porch, friendly staff, immaculate facilities and of course the lovely dog who brings joy to the residents. My mom loves her apartment, the food and the monthly events. In her words, "she really has no complaints!" For me, the peace of mind in knowing that the staff has their eyes on my mom multiple times a day and will call me if things don't seem quite right. I am very satisfied with Sunrise of Wall and recommend it to any family!

Sunrise at Fair Oaks is a great place to live. I have met amazing staff members, neighbors and their family members through the years that I have lived here. Although I do not receive care at this time, when that times comes I have no doubt that the care staff will provide me first-rate service. The food is delicious and it’s a beautiful place to live. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I have worked with Sunrise of Bon Air for many years, and have always found this to be a caring community, filled with compassionate staff, in a warm and welcoming environment. I would encourage you to tour this community if you are looking for assisted living care in the greater Richmond area.

We love having our family member here at Sunrise because of the community vibe it offers. It feels like home and the staff members feel like family. There are always activities going on and something new happening. We highly recommend Sunrise to anyone who's looking for a warm, welcoming environment.

I have found the staff to be caring and competent. They always try to engage the residents and make their "home" a pleasant place to be. A true community that works to provide for the needs of the residents physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. There are few places I would recommend, and this is definitely one of them. Thank you for all you do every day!

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of North Wales and everything has been great for her at this facility so far. The move in process was smooth. The facility is clean. The friendliness, care services and value for cost are great. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of North Wales to others who are looking for Assisted Living care for themselves or their loved ones.

I would highly recommend Brighton Gardens to anyone! They are top-tier when it comes to truly caring about the well-being of their residents. Me and my family picked Brighton Gardens because of the cleanliness of their facility. When we first walked in, they had all of the residents in the common area, playing bingo and interacting with each other. And one thing that stuck out was that they have employees that have been there 10-15 years. That spoke volumes to us.

My mom was very hesitant to move into assisted living for many years. Finally she agreed to give it a shot. Since she has been in Sunrise of New Dorp, she hasn’t had one bad word to say about the place. She has made many friends there and the staff has been exceptionally kind to her during this transition. April Cruz helped us during this process and invited us to visit several times and answered round after round of questions from my family with a great deal of patience and understanding. My mom is now so busy with activities her friends are complaining that they can’t reach her on the phone during the day. So far this has been a great move for my mom!

The community provides excellent care for my mother, she is 89 and she loves the staff and they are so patient with her. I feel like I have an additional family. I am so grateful for the passionate staff.

Staff to resident ratio, cleanliness,Frienliness,staff works directly for Sunrise. No third party staff,They could meet my mom's needs. Not a huge place. It has a more homey atmosphere. They know all their residents by name. A great activities director. Cute apartments that are just the right size and handicap ready. They have gone out of their way to make mom welcome by introducing her to other friendly ladies and inviting her to each activity. Residents can choose from several options for each meal and if they happen to miss a meal or get hungry in between meals they have several things they can choose that they will prepare for them. They have nutritious balanced meals.

Dining room is very nice and very clean

Food is good and friendly staff. Clean and home to me.
