Suite Living Senior Care

The staff is extremely caring. They see each patient as an individual. The residents really love being there. They worked with us to get my Aunt moved in quickly. She was in a rehab facility that we were extremely unhappy with. I was impressed with Suite Living in general - our 1st choice for location was Suite Living in N. St. Paul. Unfortunately there wasn't an opening for the kind of care my Aunt needed at the NSP location. So they called other locations in the area & we started working with Vadnais Heights to move her in. And the staff at Vadnais Heights have been just as amazing as the people in NSP.

I really liked this community itself and the staff were very friendly. They were younger and seemed to be inexperienced, so this would have been my second choice. They gave a good tour and I got to see a lot of the community and get a good feel for it.

The Personal Care community always had a lot of activities going on, that was great and based on our families experience we would recommend this community to others.

It's a nice place, and it's pretty new. They can handle residents with memory care issues. The community is neat and clean, and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The facility is gorgeous with a quiet atmosphere! The staff are helpful and welcoming, and everyone is willing to work as a team. There are always fun activities planned and the kitchen makes a good variety of food!

Very beautiful community & they have great activities for the residents as well as great food. The staff are very caring and management is amazing.

This place is so nice, the staff all seem to like what they do, and over all really have good relationships with the residents. The food is amazing!

They took automatic payment out of my checking account on the 5th of the month and my wife passed away on May 6th. I figured that they would have had the courtesy or compassion to refund me some of that money especially after her passing away to help me out.

Positive- very responsive care givers and administration. Things change quickly for older, declining seniors, and processes need to be nimble and change. Suite Living is really good about that. Areas for improvement- adding more activities geared for men in memory care. They are not inclined to join in coloring or crafts. Food is very average. But adequate.

They seem to do Ok on most things. A little difficult judging because my mother was not happy being there, and I would guess any other facility as well. She is settling in a little better now. I don't know for sure, if I would recommend. There are pros and cons that may or may not be important.

Some issues but all facilities have that. Both management and care staff are good. Care staff seems very caring. Food is good. My husband has gained weight. It's a clean building and rooms/baths are good sized. My husband is in memory care and activities are limited but they're included in assisted living when they can be. I have a camera in his room so can check on him. They keep him out of the room a lot which he likes. Contact me if you have further questions.

It is a nice small welcoming community from staff and families, with a great level of enhanced care services and compassionate staff. The perfect place for enhanced care needs for your loved one

Mom has barely made a [date removed] there, she wound up in the hospital for almost a week. I have been gone for the holidays and will be back tomorrow. I will be creating more of a schedule to be with my mom and observe more of her adjusting to being there. So I would recommend, my of the problems seem to be my mom's dementia. I think the facility is very nice as is the staff. My mother is always dressed nice and ready for the day. My main concern is that she still will refuse meals, showers and sometimes getting out of bed. I guess I was hoping for to many miracles

The staff are very very nice but at times my dad has to wait a while for ones to come to the room for bathroom, getting ready for breakfast things like that. Seems they may be under staffed at times. And my dad has complained to me about the food (at times) being over cooked or burnt. They are paying for these things on their monthly rent so their food should be cooked in a tasteful way. And I feel that he is on way too many medications. I have received his bill and there's about 20 different medications he's paying for and one item was on the bill three times. The bill does not say how many in a bottle but it's hard to believe that he's taking all those in a month. I would like to know what he's taking every day. I have left a message about this but no one has called back. And it seems their rooms should be cleaned more then once a week. I've seen spider webs in the corners of his room and at times it smells. For what these older ones have to pay a month, I feel and I'm not alone, they just aren't getting what they are paying for. My dad likes his place and I do too, so hoping to see some improvements.

[name removed] was at SL Burnsville about 6 weeks. Then he moved to SL Inver Grove. Both places have been easy to work with, staff is cooperative and friendly. It's been an adjustment for us, but I'm confident we are at the right place for him. I would definitely would recommend them to others who are currently searching for memory care for their loved one.

It's been almost two years since mom passed so my comments aren't up to date. They were short staffed at the time we were there so that was difficult but they were trying hard. All in all we had a good experience there and would recommend it to others.

When it comes to the meals and dining our loved one feels the food is very bland & portions small. The value for cost is comparable to others and we would recommend Suite Living on Burnsville to other families based on our experience

They have some slight improvements, but overall they do really good work and based on the experience we have had, we would recommend them to other families

The meals get a 2 based on my mom saying she doesn't like the food. When it comes to the value for cost, there is some issues with staffing at suite living on the weekends, and it is so expensive for memory care. We also realize this isn't limited to suite living. Our families experience with a loved one in memory care at suite living.It's expensive, but it gives us peace of mind she is somewhere safe. She has made friends and for the most part she is happy there. We would recommend suite living

I obviously have never gone through loosing one's best friend of 35 years before. Dementia is such a terrible illness. Nurse Sarah was out standing. The 24 x 7 staff provides support is truely the care my wife needs.
