This community was huge and overwhelming and to much for us at the time. This community was very nice.

The apartments and the meals were fine, the basic services they provided were good, but our loved ones stay was very limited. We did not utilize the activities that were offered, and the parking is very limited for the residents and the visiting families. That is a big disadvantage. Also the communication with their contracted home care staff was somewhat difficult at times.

This is a good place to go. The staff was very attentive during the week, and on the weekends it would go downhill. The staff was good to work with if I ever had questions or concerns over my loved one.

I am giving them a 3.5 because I am having a lot of difficulty getting assistance from the wellness director. The first one never returned my calls or emails. They have a new one but I called 2 weeks ago and I still have not gotten a response. Overall it is a great facility, they just need some improvements in some places.

Depends on the level of care that the person needs on if I would recommend this community. If constant supervision and memory care is needed this is not the place but if they are independent with a lot of drive this is the place.

Lights take a little longer to get answered but I know the girls are busy. Overall everyone is nice and friendly.

There definitely needs to be room for improvement at this community, they are experience a lot of high turnover rates. They did just go through a management change, but it seemed like this was still a problem before the management change.

My experience has been during COVID. Sometimes my loved one's room isn't as clean as it could be. The staff are so good to my loved one. The greeter, [name removed] and Abby will go down and take cookies, and photos of my loved one. Some of the staff are just wonderful. The food is excellent.

Atria at River Trail was beautiful, and my loved one was actually set to move in there. But they had some scheduling changes and kind of messed that up. Hopefully they’ve gotten things together since then. We had to do some last-minute scrambling, and that was hard on us. I had already scheduled a moving truck, and we had to rush to find another place. They had influx of people coming back in that they really should have been more on top of.

I get a feeling the memory care unit is short on staff. I'm hearing that there are residents that are able to wonder into other resident's rooms. These incidents make me feel the staff should know where the residents are. They didn't have a record of why my loved one went to the hospital. We aren't getting the feedback on how our loved one is doing. The directors have been turned over.

The food at Oxmoor Lodge is not very good, and right now they are having to deliver it to their rooms, and sometimes the food is served cold. The rooms are adequate, and at the moment they are not doing much cleaning. The staff members have been kind and helpful.

This facility rates high in all areas except in the following: 1. apartments not cleaned often or well enough. 2. Laundry needs to be done here at a reasonable price. Some are dependent upon service but feel the price is too high.

As you can see from the above ratings, I have been happy with my decision to move to Three Creeks. I have been very pleased with the plan of having a stand alone residence on the property of Three Creeks Senior Retirement Center. In the cottages we enjoy a great deal of independence and autonomy, while also enjoying the facilities and offerings of the community. My disappointment has been in the initial lack of communication. I received no orientation other than a written brochure stating the regulations, and no tour of the facilities. There have been a few “bumps” in adding a new plan to the facility, working out mail delivery being the most difficult; however, the staff has been very responsive in getting things worked out. By far Three Creeks has the friendliest and most caring people I met as I visited several retirement centers. It is worth mentioning that there have been no cases of COVID-19 at this facility. The staff works very hard to ensure good preventive practices are required and enforced. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and residents very friendly.

Have had a good experience with independence village in Avon lake taking care of a family member. Are receptive, caring and staff is able to meet the residents needs with compassion

My Mother moved here almost three years ago. She was happy then, but things seem to have changed. She still has her friends and so doesn't want to move even though there has been a steady decline in many areas of this complex. She likes meeting with friends for supper, but often complains to me that the food is not warm when served. She was not happy recently when there was a "Harry Potter" day. The activities need to be more directed towards their generation. She said the employees seemed to have a great time taking photos of themselves, but the residents weren't really sure about the "wizards and witches" references. I told her to talk with the activities employees and hopefully they can come up with more age appropriate events. How about a 1940"s dress up day or something similar?

It is a lovely facility. The staff has been very pleasant. My mom is on the first floor. The food is never hot, lukewarm at best. The room sizes and layout of the community was pretty nice. My mom does not like it at all.

My sister has lived at Creekside for 7 years. It was a difficult move for her, but she has adjusted and really enjoys the community now. The Covid-19 situation has been difficult for everyone, but I appreciate your efforts to keep staff and clients safe. Then comes a tornado. Once again you all did your best with the situation you were in. Hopefully the activities and meals in the dinning room will get back to normal soon. It takes team work to get through each day and each hurdle 2020 has surprise you with! Thank you.

Staff does a great job. Meals are ok but could be better geared toward seniors not too spicy. More soup options daily for lunch and dinner should be offered.

My mom has been here for 6 months, It was the best solution for her to move from her own 1 bedroom apartment to Wescourt, She no longer felt secure enough to cook for herself and did not want meals on wheels. She also did not want to move in with in of her children. Also they have home health care services available in case there becomes a need for that service. The meals are ok but some times they run out of the entrees. The only problem is that she has been sick lately and has not been able to go to the dining room. You get kitchen scraps and left overs for meals often. You don't get a discount for the meal cost.
