Very friendly, excellent food, excellent patios and activities. Would like shuttle service and more activities than, but it is improving. Staff is usually responsive our comments.

The aides that especially work in the day are incredible human beings. My mother was very elderly and needed a lot of assistance, but they were all so kind, compassionate and loving. I felt like I could go home and my mom was in good hands which meant the world to me. [Removed] [Removed] is the reason why this facility has such loving, quality people. She is truly an asset.

This facility has a unique setting of ten landscaped acres abutting lake. The one and two story building is well maintained and offers a variety of apartment sizes and configurations, some with fireplaces. It is surrounded by upscale suburban homes that offer quiet walking paths. The friendly staff provides routine and necessary services. This may be supplemented by an associated resident aid service if needed. A recently obtained chef is steadily improving the dinner service. While breakfast items are self-serve, lunches may be purchased at reasonable cost.

The grounds are beautiful and are great for outside walking. The staff are very pleasant and waiting to help with any problems. The other residents are friendly and make living here a pleasant experience.

It’s a nice place to live. Everything is fairly close so live don’t have to travel far for our needs, everyone here is very friendly. It is very clean and nicely kept, good. Could be better but it’s not bad. There is lots to do so and few don’t get bored. Grounds are beautiful and a joy to look at.

I would like to see the parking improved. Very clean and people are very nice to deal with. Food is pretty good most of the time. I think for what it cost to live here people should get lunch included. Either have dinner a little later on Sundays or have two meals.

So far everything is working out well for my mother since her move to this community. I have no complaints, or problems regarding this community. This is a lovely community with great people. The staff is very nice, and super friendly. They do a great job with the cleanliness of the community. This is a community I would highly recommend, it is working out well for us.

When we toured Powell Senior Living, it had just opened. I thought it was a very nice place but it was significantly more expensive than the facility we ended up choosing.

My parents have made the move to this community, and I do feel comfortable with their move here. They have a super efficient staff at this community. They have really bent over backwards to make my parents feel comfortable. They have been very kind, and caring. There are plenty of activities offered for the residents. This is a lovely community, and I would recommend it.

My loved one is doing very well with her move to this community. She is pleased with all they have done for her. She has been taking care of her husband for so many years, and I'am happy she now has great people to take care of her. This is a good, safe community, and I would recommend it.

independence village was just too big and the dining room way to far from the room. She would always need a wheelchair escort to meals. Though a beautiful facility it was way more than our mother needed at this stage of her life.

We used this community for their respite stay services. Overall everything went well for my mother with her respite stay. This is a wonderful community, and we knew she was in good hands. The staff was kind, and courteous. The community looks nice, they do a good job with the cleanliness. Our family was pleased with all they did for us. This is a community I would recommend, it is a nice place.

Sunrise of Louisville was lovely. The decision came down to pricing, it was priced a bit high for our budget. The community was clean and had a homey atmosphere. They had a little serving station with a lady cooking muffins out in the open. The residents could stop and get a cup of coffee or fruit water. The facility itself was maintained very well, and I had a good experience touring.

I loved this community when we looked at this. There is an area where the residents can sit outside. The section my loved one would have been in was small and it had a good ratio of staff to residents. They offer an exercise class in the morning. They take them on outings once a week.

This looked like a nice clean community when we visited. They offer some nice amenities and the people we met were nice. We did not get the feeling this place would work for our loved one.

Lincoln Square staff and amenities are adequate and helpful to maintain independence.

The people I met at this community were friendly. Mom stayed here for a short respite stay and things went ok. She liked the food and they did offer daily activities. The community is clean and the grounds are nice. I would recommend this community for a respite stay.
